I'm a boba tea addict who has boba tea nearly every day. I was in town and my friend who lives here said there are only a couple boba places which surprisingly I've avoided while in the area. I was near this cafe because of a prior commitment and had to try it out. Reading the reviews on here made me a bit nervous but I love boba and there's no stopping me. My go to order is a lychee green tea with boba or agar (crystal) boba. I asked the young man working what kind of tea they use in their fruit teas and he said black tea. I particularly do not like black tea's flavor and asked if they could make it with green tea which he said they could. So I got my lychee green tea with crystal boba and it's delicious. The one area of improvement that I could see compared to my vast experience ordering boba tea would be to offer options on ice and sweetness levels, such as 100%, 75%, 50%, etc. I noticed a lot of the reviews discussed too little ice or too much sweetener so I think this would mitigate those complaints. Honestly it's probably more psychological because you can probably put the same amount of sweetener or ice but if you give people the idea that they are controlling it, they will be happier with their drinks. read more

The guy who served us was super friendly, while he was making our drinks, he gave us a sample of the sweetness of the drink and asked us if that is ok, if we say it's not sweet enough then he'll make it more sweet. He was smiling the whole time as well, which is not usual nowadays in the foodservice industry. After a walk down the streets of midtown , I stopped for a Chai tea. I have been craving the taste of the Chai Tea I had in Hawaii and this is the closest in comparison. The service was on the slow side today due to a mix up in an order. I would return though because enjoy a good Chai tea iced or hot. Not a boba fab so I didn't add those so no cute pic . Parking can be tricky, it's location is more convenient for foot traffic. A convenient bus stop right out front as well. How could I forget it has a decent size seating area out front and with this nice weather approaching have a seat and enjoy your drink of choice. read more

This is my go to boba spot when I'm in town. Especially after a cool gamble session LOL! It def ain't Quickly's, but their drinks taste good enough for me. I usually get Milk, Taro or Thai ice tea with boba. The outdoor seating is pretty chill. The only problem is South Virginia Street is still under construction so there's hella detours in that area. we came here because we couldn't go to our normal boba place. when we got there, as we were ordering it seemed like we were rushed so it already felt like a weird environment. we got a taro milk tea and a honeydew milk tea. we got them and after leaving and drinking the first sip, we felt that it tasted weird and it made our stomach hurt a bit. (i love taro. i think if it tastes weird and gave me a stomachache within 3 sips that's a problem) we already left so i tried to call their phone. i called 3 times and i didn't get an answer any of the times. i drove back and we went to the front window and we tried to tell the cashier that we didn't like our drinks and if we could get a refund. we showed her our drinks that had maybe 3 sips taken out of it. clearly we didn't like it. at this point i didn't even want another drink. taro is my favorite flavor and it tasted horrible. all i wanted was my money back. the lady said she couldn't give us a refund because the manager wasn't there. maybe if they would've answered their phone i could've called. horrible service. i'm so upset that i spent $12 on drinks that i can't even drink and they won't give me a refund. i asked if she could call the manager and she wouldn't even do that. i won't be coming back here unless i get my refund. this is ridiculous. * after reading the other low reviews i can't imagine how this place is so popular. my first time there and the lady that took my order was rude. how can a place not give a refund to an unsatisfied customer???? that doesn't make any sense. i threw my drinks away. it's not like i was asking for a refund on an empty drink? it was full. i just wanted to speak to a manager and that wasn't possible. read more

We came here when they first opened and it took about 15 mins to get our order (consists of 4 boba drinks). The guy was friendly and apologized for the delay. He was alone & we understand that the flow is not quite there yet. We decided to give them a try again today. We ordered 2 boba drinks. Flavor was diluted in a cup already filled with all ice. Boba was overcooked. We tipped upon placing the order and the employee doesn't thank us. Speaker playing loud music is facing you while you're placing your order making it impossible to hear what the staff is saying. This Review has been long awaited. Im sorry it has taken me a year to get it done but here I am. Foodie J. here! This 5/5 stars is based on Boba taste and setting. This Palace of boba is located right in the heart of Midtown. With exclusive outdoor seating that is perfect for sipping your cold tea on a nice summer day. Music is a nice touch to drown out the wonders of midtown making this place unique and approachable. Be weary to limit your bubble tea intake as there is lack of restrooms on the premises. I have learned my lesson and limited my intake to 2 large bubble teas a visit. A 20-minute drive for me but a well worth it drive fiiled with laughter and dreams of a delicious cold beverage in my hands. The price of this God nector is decent as a regular tea with boba will only set you back about 4$. Boba is on point as always. Taste of the tea is very good considering that most of their teas are from mixes. Their actual boba is cooked perfectly most of the time, on some occasions boba can be slightly over cooked but still not bad. Im a milk tea kind of guy with a bubbly personality (as deemed to me by my EX) so it makes sense for me to get my usual which is a almond milk tea with boba. I can honestly say that this place is consistant with their teas. Same flavor every time. I know what to expect when I come here and I recieve exactly that. I got the Taro boba today and i have to say the boba is exceptional. I believe the texture of it is the best I have in awhile. The milk tea itself is creamy and not overly sweet which is delicious. The temperature of the drink was not too cold and a bit warm but I don't mind. Since it's a cold day it's perfect. Highly recommend! read more

At this point I've been to this place so many times the guy that gave me my tea today referred to me as their regular. I can only speak for the fruity flavours, because that's all I've had from them, but it's so good. I would give this place 5 stars because it was Great I enjoyed it it was my first experience as well as my grandchildren's first experience the only reason I could not give 5 is because there was some type of little gnat in my granddaughters drink I don't think that it was anything that the owners could control because it's like fruit teas and sweet milk and everything around but I did call in and they actually apologized to no end and told me that they would provide free drinks extra drinks if we will return. I don't think that this was a bad thing because it was not like a cockroach, it was a little gnat and it summertime so it is possible. However I would recommend this place to everyone because it was really good and refreshing and the owners were very very nice and explained that of course its not their intent or something they would be able to see until the products were mixed in a clear cup! When I arrived I asked the girl behind the counter if they had dairy free milk options, the girl who happened to be facetiming a friend while chatting with me affirmed that they did so I order a matcha boba tea. it was reasonably priced which i liked. As I began to drink it though, it most definitely WAS NOT dairy free. I'm not sure if maybe the matcha powder maybe had dairy in it but what I was given was not what I was promised. It did taste okay, but I had to throw it away due to an allergy to dairy. If I go back I will probably order something without milk just in case that happens again. Nice little place with outside seating only (you should know, there's no restrooms), but most were grab and go. I guess they use to serve food, I just didn't see anything besides their drink menu hanging on the outside wall. The service was good, the gal inside was friendly and courteous and always acknowledged when a customer showed up. It was certainly tight quarters, so pretty much a one person show in there. The drink itself was okay, nothing spectacular or memorable. The boba in my drinks were done well, but the milk tea itself was a little artificial tasting compared to some of the places I frequent in California. I was craving for some boba milk tea and stumbled upon bubble tea station cafe upon looking at yelp. Its a small cute place with only outdoor seatings. Unfortunately it's December and sprinkling outside so I only wanted to pick some up and go. There was only 1 worker taking orders and making the drinks on a Sunday around 4:30 pm. Service was super slow! I ordered 4 drinks which I had to wait a very long time to get, and in addition to that, the sweetness to one of them was wrong. The bobas were hard and the milk teas were watered down. I can barely taste the tea and they filled my cup up with all ice. The drinks tasted horrible and I will not be coming back. read more
