The coffee was good and so was the service. I got the mocha spice coffee, sorry I do not remember the fancy name of it. It tasted good. I found the cost a bit high, $7.75 for a 12 ounce mocha. Spacious and clean atmosphere. They sell bags of coffee beans as well.

Carlos was the friendliest, most talented and professional barista around! There are so many choices for specialty coffees, but also food and items such as T shirts, coffee mugs, packaged coffee, etc. The ambiance is friendly, cozy and warm.

This place has delicious coffee. You can smell the aroma as soon as you enter. There are plenty of tables/seats both indoor and outdoor. There's side street parking. The baristas are friendly and approachable. Giving 4 stars cause why is alternative milk so expensive? A 12oz latte shouldn't be over $9.

I come here, at least, once a week for a specialty coffee drink that costs upwards of $7. The last time I was here I noticed that this fine concoction was missing from what looked to be newly printed menus, thinking it was a mistake, I ordered it and was served. Today I had my taste buds geared for the ever delectable Orange Blossom Latte, and was denied... told by staff that they were out of the magic syrup that completes it, and that it was off of the menu, for good. They may as well have told me that they were, from here on out, serving only decaf!! This latte is actually being copied, unsuccessfully, in other coffee shops around town, due to its amazing allure, so its removal here is nothing short of a crime. I left today, buying nothing. Quick service Very expensive coffee???? They blamed it all on tariffs :) Midtown vibe, retro ambiance.

This coffee shop is always busy with fast friendly service. There is plenty of indoor seating with a nice open concept. The pastries are always fresh and the coffee is amazing. I had the iced Jamberry latte with almond milk and it was on point! The baristas are always friendly and kind. My favorite is Kim. She does an amazing job! I definitely would recommend visiting this cute coffee shop.

Solid 4/5, definitely better than your average anywhere coffee shop. I'd like to come back and try some of the more normal hot options. The Horchata Iced and the Lemon Pound Cake iced were just both lacking in actual espresso flavor to put them at a true 5/5. The wife and I ended up sipping about an inch off of them, then just taking them home and adding another 2oz espresso shot from our home machine to each. Very very milk forward on those lattes, but smooth, no bitterness at all. Service was very good, my wife had questions about the different flavored options and the barista did a great job explaining them and breaking down the flavor profiles. As far as ambiance, I might be splitting hairs but the register area was quite messy, and idk maybe just throw a couple bucks at some cooler looking trash cans haha. Those standard Walmart ones really stuck out in an otherwise put together and hip space. Overall, pleasurable visit, just not my absolute favorite craft coffee in Reno. I'll come back and try some more standard drinks so I can get a true taste of the coffee itself, totally looking forward to it.

Came here to open some Pokémon packs, work on my iPad, and it was a great experience. I like the atmosphere a lot with all the art around the shop! Service was great. I was treated well and got a good recommended drink, the matcha jam. It was amazing. Definitely coming back for more; it's a great environment!

I always visit this coffee shop in Midtown Reno whenever I visit. They have great customer service also great and coffee drinks. Today I ordered the Cubano latte from their summer signature selection. This drink was delicious and perfect for a hit summer day. I will return tomorrow for another drink from there summer selection.

03/09/2024: My first visit -- matcha latte

Review #003 - 2025 So glad I decided to come back and give this place a second try. In all honesty, I don't really remember my first experience here back in March 2024. All I know is that it was conveniently located. We showed up at around 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 22nd. There was no line so we were helped immediately. Our barista, Elise, was super friendly. She had a big smile as soon as she saw us walking in. Right after we placed our order, 5-6 people came in. My husband actually asked me how did they expect her to take their orders and still make our drinks? Much to our surprise she was able to manage like a pro. She got our drinks made and all of the customers placed their orders in a timely manner. My matcha latte was made to perfection! My husband's London fog made him so happy he literally asked to come back and order a second cup after we went to lunch next door. I don't think I have ever had two cups of caffeine in such a short time frame. I caved and came back with my husband to get a mocha drogata (a sweet and spicy mocha). I asked to have it less sweet, but it was still too sweet for my personal liking since I normally order my drinks without sugar. I still enjoyed it though. Our daughter had the Honest Kid's lemonade and she loved hanging out and playing chess her daddy! Win-win for the whole family! We will definitely be back on our next visit to Reno :) We actually returned for breakfast on Sunday, March 23rd and tried their waffles. I had the Brie and prosciutto while our daughter had the chocolate hazelnut and we both enjoyed our breakfast. The prosciutto was much saltier than I expected--I'm not sure if it's made in-house or bought from an outside source. Hopefully, they can find something with less sodium. I asked to have our daughter's chocolate hazelnut sauce on the side and they were very accommodating.

Really, really good coffee and the people running the place were nice.

Very, very good coffee and the baristas and cashiers were nice. We ordered a Latte and a Macha Latte along with savory pastries. Yum.

Coffee and a book at Old World Coffee Roasters-Midtown.

I was at the Carson City location recently and not only did I order wrong, I just wasn't feeling the location. Today though, I came to the Midtown location and loved it. I ordered a Latte and hung out reading my book for over an hour. It was really good and served in a real mug just the way I like it. With all these warm days we've had, it was actually cold today, so the mood was perfect for reading. It can get a bit loud, but it didn't bother me at all. The girl at the counter was super nice. What a difference it makes when the customer service and your drink is on point.

As someone who's super picky about their coffee, I'm sure glad I checked out this BREW-tiful cafe! Tucked into the heart of Midtown Reno, Old World Coffee Roasters features excellent and fragrant coffee roasts, innovative seasonal latte options, and plenty of seating, free WiFi, and free parking, making it perfect to work or study at. We ordered the old pine latte and peppermint bark latte, which were the featured seasonal winter drinks, and both were made quickly and artfully by our very talented and friendly barista. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area for some quality coffee, and I'll definitely be back again!

What a major local gem in Reno. It only took one visit for…read moreme to become a fan of this coffee shop/bar in Midtown. You can tell that a lot of thought and heart went into the place. The decor, the entertainment, the products all struck a chord with me. On one side - a super cute pour over/loose leaf tea shop with some records for sale. On the other - a cute bar and lounge area equipped with a vinyl player (Bring one in on a Monday for them to play). You have some house pants, checkered floors, and cool vinyl covers all over the walls that make for some great & hip atmosphere and vibes. Their restrooms, though small, and clean and cool. Their pour overs are so flavorful, strong, and made with beans grounded on your visit. I love that they're flavored and sweetened in a way that allows the coffee to shine. If you're into sweeter drinks, ask for a bit more sweetner or add in a brown raw sugar packet yourself from the straw station. I hear their chocolate pour over is a hit. Matchas - prepared in a similar fashion. Slightly sweetned with subtle flavorings. I tried their carrot cake matcha today and really enjoyed the housemade syrup they used to flavor it with. I also love that they offer loose leaf teas. Their chai was nice, fragrant and great with a little sweetner and milk. Shelby over at the bar area was sooo patient with explaining their menu and suggested a isla bonita pineapple shrub drink for a non alcoholic option. Similar to their other drinks on the coffee side, it was tamed in sugar yet still fun and flavorful. I really enjoyed the tang from the apple cider and the spice from the tajin chili powder as a contrasting flavor. Double check their website for bar and coffee shop hours as they differ from one another. And follow them on Instagram for updates on seasonal specials & themed gatherings. A lot of cool local DJs spin here for special events and parties during the holidays. Tip: sit next to the pour over station next to the menu. It's so entertaining, especially with Sydney working the station (thanks so much for the chat and entertainment. Honestly one of the friendliest baristas I've ever met in Reno). Both bars are set up in a way that allows for meeting others and socializing. Check it out. It's a good time. Notes *Catch live jazz music on Wednesdays here for free. *free street & neighborhood parking *bagels & cream cheese available at the coffee shop *they have fun with their seasonal drink specials.
