The place was busy with teens sitting with their friends and drinking their beverages (there is a high school nearby). But there was no line to order at the register. After looking over the register, we ended up ordering: Hokkaido Milk Tea, Large, $5.25 prior to tax- I ordered this drink to be made with no ice and 50% sweetener. The drink was absolutely disgusting with how sweet this drink was, in addition to it being a bit gritty at the bottom, which tells me my drink was made with powder and not well dissolved. When I got back to my hotel, I added a large amount of tea to a small amount of this drink and it was still very sweet. It makes me wonder what the regular amount of sugar would taste like if I had not requested for half sweetness. Honey Dew Milk Tea, Large, $5.25 prior to tax- My husband also ordered his drink to be made with 50% sweetener and no ice. Just like mine, this drink was way too sweet and also gritty. Just like me, he also added a large amount of tea to his drink and it still was too sweet. TL DR: Theres been a decline in quality. Drinks are sometimes too sweet or bland. Boba was not cooked well. The building was super cold. Not sure if it was an off day. Service: You're greeted by friendly employees as soon as you walk in. I went with some friends and some of them had questions/ needed recommendations. We all agreed the service was great. 5/5 Ambiance: larger than some other locations. There appeared to be some board games. It would probably be difficult to seat a party of more than 6. The decor is bright & filled with cute/kawaii items. Most importantly, the establishment looked clean. The building itself however was really really cold. I had to wear my winter coat the entire time I was drinking my tea. 3/5 The milk teas and boba: pictured in the background is a jasmine milk tea with boba. The tea was really sweet, the boba was super bland, and the boba was over cooked. The texture seemed off and was really mushy. 3/5 The taro milk tea was ordered without boba and this tea was way too sweet. I couldn't taste the taro flavor. I've enjoyed boba from this establishment before so I'm not sure what happened. To be fair it might be worthwhile to order these drinks at 25% or reduced sweetness. 3.5/5 The price is competitive with other boba establishments in Reno. I love my boba and having consumed it all my life, I find myself able to tell when the quality of the tea and toppings here are of good quality. Sadly, this spot is just another standard shop that reminds of those chain restaurants. I ordered their Assam Black Milk Tea and it tasted extremely watered down. There was a lack of flavor in the milk tea that made it difficult to finish. Additionally, my boba was incredibly hard so chewing on that while sipping on poor quality tea made this experience quite disappointing. While I enjoyed the interior of the shop and the cute succulents it had on its shelves, the quality of the boba was not there and I can't recommend it unless you're closeby and need a place to chill. read more

As someone who doesn't drink coffee it is so refreshing to find places that cater to tea drinkers, this is one is my top pick for a late afternoon iced treat. I love the Almond Cherry milk tea with Lychee popping boba and my husband has nothing but good things to say about the Okinawa milk tea. I also can't deny that I'm a sucker for appetizer and the fact that I can get Gyoza and mozzarella sticks at the same place and they're both cooked well is a total win in my book! Stopped by here with the wife for a quick snack and some tea. We were both apprised about how good the potstickers and gyoza were. They were fresh and crispy! Both of the teas were delicious. I love love LOVE this boba tea place! This is my only favorite place to grab boba because the quality of their taste is similar to the Bay Area and which they are so that's cool. I was pretty excited to spot this boba place after a run at Dollar Tree. I was already out for couple of hours running errands and I figure what a great way to end my task list with a boba drink! Came in on 2/19 at 5PM and there were seven people ahead of me and two people working the counter. I can't remember what my drink is called but it was green tea, blueberry, and milk tea. My boyfriend had the black sugar milk tea. The wait time was RIDICULOUS!!! Then 20 minutes passed and the group of four ahead of me still haven't received their drinks. At this point I wondered how long have they been waiting. Then 30 minutes rolled in and still no drinks. FINALLY, after 43 minutes, my name was called and my two drinks were handed to me. There was no mention of my wait time nor apology either. Really easy to find parking since it's deserted. From the outside, the plaza looks so worn and dead, but this shop was a little burst of modernity. The first thing I noticed was how impeccably clean it is... The walls, chairs, and tables are all bleach-white. They have a few small plants here and there for decor, along with a shelf full of board games. The cashier was really friendly! Great service here. The dude even offered to remake our drinks in case we didn't like them. He was the only guy working that day, so service was a bit slow-- We got our drinks within 10 mins though which isn't tooooooo bad. Rose milk tea (no ice, 75% sweet) with boba and passion fruit dolphins: Pretty good. It's also an adorable shade of pink (yay for food coloring lol). The tea flavor is kinda weak and there were rose bits in my drink tho, which were kinda bitter. I think they should strain it more before mixing. Not the worst but not the best. Their boba is also pretty average, not really sweetened much. HIGHLIGHT-- the passion fruit DOLPHINS! Omg. I've never ever seen this topping before so I had to try it ^_^ I was pleasantly surprised because they don't taste too artificially sweetened, they're just lightly sweet & sour enough to taste like passion fruit, and they're soft enough to sip through the boba straw. I LOVE 1,2, TEA! It's so great to have a boba place in town that uses real tea in their drinks instead of powder, you can really taste the difference! The place hasn't been open long, but they already have quite the following. It's fun to come in every week and see all the new improvements. The employees are very nice and are always happy to adjust/change your drink if you are not 100% satisfied with it. I highly suggest trying the jasmine milk tea (MT) (their "normal" MT) and the Wintermelon MT. The assam black MT taste most similar to regular MT at other establishments. I always add boba to my drinks but there is a whole list of other toppings you can add to your drink instead! If you're not a fan of MT the Lychee-Rose slushy is super light and refreshing: perfect for a hot summer afternoon! As for snacks, you definitely have to try the chicken wings! This tea is very floral, and you can taste the creaminess. The drink is good, however, the overall taste is very mild, and nothing particularly stands out.
