White peach is the unicorn flavor of sweets but Bubbleology has it! The tea was fruity and just the right amount of sweet. The bubbles were plentiful but could stand to be cooked a little longer as the center was a little tough. We also tried the strawberry tea with strawberry jelly and overall it was good but had the slightest bitter aftertaste, in my opinion. Worth a repeat visit especially on a warm spring day! read more

Cute little place in leesburg village to grab some boba drinks and swing on there amazing swings. I really liked the boba drinks. They weren't too sweet. They poured the right amount of boba. The store was very clean and cute. It had cute chairs in the front and a cute quote on the wall. They also offer punch cards. The lady at the front was nice, but kind of an aggressive nice with her tone? As for the tea, I ordered the small taro milk tea with boba. I unfortunately took two sips total and ended up throwing it away. I hate wasting food but I just couldn't do it. It was ridiculously chalky. To top it off, the boba had almost like a perfume taste to it and it wasn't chewy or soft. It had a denser/harder center. I think they should invest in some machines to shake the tea which hopefully would help. I hope they work out the issues and improve. read more

The shop is cute. Definitely an instagrammable place. The bubble tea I give it 3 stars because I think the tea is a bit too sweet. I don't think it's not that sweet as KungFu Tea but could use less sugar. The regular bubbles in the tea were very chewy and had no flavor to them. The price range is reasonable as it matches up to more bubble tea shops in the northern Virginia area. Overall, it's not bad. A little too sweet for my liking but still really good & you can tell them how much sugar you want in your drink. Raspberry light tea with tapioca pearls: Had decent raspberry flavor, it definitely was on the lighter side. Would I drink it again? The light version? No, it needs a tad more sugar. Is what I was told when I found out about Bubbleology but what disappoints me is i feel like people only appreciate it for the aesthetic of a boba tea shop and not for their actual drinks and as a boba tea lover I was very excited that one was opening in an area I visit a lot so I gave it a visit, and then a second visit, and then another, etc and I have to say that even without all the hype I would still visit Bubbleology. I have heard complaints about the chalkiness of the drinks but I didn't notice anything bad at all! Boba fanatic over here! I ordered the Matcha Milk Tea with Boba and Lychee Jelly (trust me on this combo). The boba was cooked to perfection but the Matcha was a bit chalky tasting and thin. I thought it would be a bit richer with the Matcha but that wasn't the case. It can be hard to find decent bubble tea outside of major cities, but Bubbleology definitely does a good job! In my experiences here, the tea is reliably good, but sometimes the tapioca texture is a tiny bit off. Prices are a bit on the higher end as well, but not unwieldy. This place is working walking distance from me. I've been waiting for it to open and have now been twice in the past week. Both times I got the Apple Fruit Tea with Apple Boba. Before Bubbleology opened I was always going to King Fu Tea for me bubble tea fix. I prefer this place over King fu just because it ya more options for flavors, toppings, and just drinks in general. They really customize the drink exactly how you order and I had no trouble when I went in. Let me start by saying I am a big bubble tea girl. I've tried a lot. We walked in to bubbleology around 1230 pm. There were three other customers in the store waiting for their orders to be made. We ordered at the counter, the girl behind the register informed us that they were out of boba. A bubble tea store that ran out of boba? Kind of strange but accepted because they have only been open for a few days. I ordered the passion fruit tea with jelly, my boyfriend ordered the chocolate milk tea. Things behind the counter seemed very chaotic with the 5 employees that I counted working. The lady making the tea seemed stressed out and kept repeating that she accidentally dropped a drink on the floor. We waited about ten minutes patiently until we realized that if we waited much longer we would be late for an appointment we had. We asked the girl behind the counter and she happily said she would expedite our order . In the end, the chocolate milk tea was chalky and weird because , no bubbles. The passion fruit was not great and they put weird bubbles that burst when you bite them with a overly sweet syrup. Ended up throwing out most of mine :( read more

I am a boba/bubble tea fanatic; i seriously think I have an issue my friends and family are concerned about my new addiction. I strolled in bubbleology thinking that I was going to spend all my free time here but I was wrong; the first problem I had was the service and the card scanner; i was greeted by an awkward staff that didn't really seem to know how to place a simple order (iced taro milk tea with boba); and then I thought it's fine the tea will be worth the wait and awkward pause but the tea was well average if not slightly below it. My friend believed hers tasted like markers and she's had her same order at other places, mine tasted a bit watered down and the boba itself was hard? and flavorless?? I'm no expert on boba but from all the places I've been across the board it's never been that way. All I can say is that the cute decor doesn't make up for the average tea and awkward staff! cute for Instagram pics tho! Not worth your money, very chalky taste. Really pretty place but it's not about appearance, it's about technique/quality instead.

We initially order two large taro milk tea's because they were out of mediums. They were very chalky, we asked for less ice but they were not very sweet although we did not ask for less sweetness. They were very generous with the Boba. We could not drink those and ended up taking them back and they were very friendly about it and gave us two large Oreo crushes instead. The Oreo was pretty good. I'm sure it would've tasted better if the drinks for blend instead of just over ice. The taro just didn't taste like it had been stirred or shake and enough and had a Bizzarre aftertaste. Will probably come back to try their teas. read more

I recently went to Bubbleology in the Village of Leesburg. I was super excited because I am a huge fan of tapioca and bubble tea in general. I thought the decoration was cute and perfect for any Instagram or Snapchat moment! However, there is not much sitting, so not the best place for hanging out with several friends. I loved the quality of the tea. I only went once and tried the Passionfruit with tapioca tea. Unfortunately, I hoped for a little more tapioca. A plus was that tapioca was free with the tea and not any additional charge like other Bubble Tea places. Also, the pricing was reasonable. I definitely will be back! read more

Love bubble tea so this is a great addition to the area. Their fruit teas are really good and I also have had the rose milk which I liked. It's definitely a place I'll keep coming back to. Kung Fu Tea is good but it's too far so I appreciate this being close. Employees were nice and shop was clean. They also have really comfortable and cute egg chairs. My husband and I went in around 7:30 on a Wednesday night. We were helped immediately. The woman that helped us was very knowledgeable and friendly. I told her I normally get the coconut milk tea and she suggested I try their too because it had a very strong coconut flavor and I had stated that most bubble teas I had were watered down. Well she was right - it had an AMAZING coconut flavor and the sweetness was perfect! My husband ordered the peach fruit tea and that was also really good, and she even gave me a little in a sample cup to try, which was incredible sweet of her! Both our teas came with plenty of boba in them too. No complaints here and will be back again soon! read more

I was very disappointed with this place. I ordered a strawberry bubble tea with tapioca bubbles, so a very average, safe drink. However, The drink was SO sweet and it did not taste fresh, you could tell the drink was definitely made from a pre-made mix. Also there were not nearly enough tapioca bubbles in the drink. I might try this place one more time and ask for their recommendations on a drink less sweet but I do not have high hopes for this place. read more

I liked the selection, but i had gotten the honey dew melon bubble tea. I didn't really like the tapioca because it was bland and really chewy then other tapioca I've had in the past that were sweet and less chewy but overall the drink tasted great and recommend not getting tapioca balls at the bottom. read more

This place was kind of a let down for me. I definitely think all the hype that surrounds Bubbleology is mainly for the aesthetics of the tea shop rather than the quality of its beverages. Being an avid bubble tea lover, this was sadly disappointing. My friend and I ordered a passion fruit and mango bubble tea and both were overly sweet causing us to regret or decision immediately after trying the beverage. The only upside to our beverages was that the tapioca was very yummy and unlike any other tapioca I have had before, just an overall fresh taste. I won't lie, the site is absolutely beautiful with really cute seating and is a very "instagrammable" location. I took some appealing pictures for my social media in front of the bright neon sign within the store and had fun swinging in the comforter chairs. All the good that came from my experience at Bubbleogly was from the visually pleasing environment rather than the drinks. If our drinks were just not that sugared out I would have given a higher rating. read more
