I rate restaurants within their category and concept. I am not comparing a neighborhood boba and tea shop to a Michelin star dining experience. If a place consistently delivers quality drinks, strong execution, and keeps us coming back, that earns a top rating from me. Teadm absolutely does that. We go to Teadm in Sterling often, and it has become one of our go to spots for drinks. Their Brown Sugar Milk Tea with boba is outstanding. Rich, creamy, and full of flavor, with the kind of texture that keeps you coming back for another sip. One thing I really appreciate is that their milk teas are actually milky and creamy. They are not thin or watery like at some other places. Also, the added traditional boba is excellent! It is consistently chewy, fresh tasting, and cooked perfectly every time. That kind of consistency matters, and they clearly pay attention to quality. They also offer a Brown Sugar Milk option with no caffeine, which is fantastic for the kiddos. Same creamy, satisfying flavor profile without the caffeine, and that has made it a family favorite. Another consistent winner is their Seasalt Bac Xiu Coffee. It never disappoints. Great balance of sweetness, coffee flavor, and that salted cream element that makes it so enjoyable. We have also tried the Color Switch Lemonade, which is good and fun to order. If I could offer one suggestion, I would love to see a classic simple lemonade or a lychee lemonade added to the menu as well. Overall, this place rocks. Great drinks, consistent quality, family friendly options, and the kind of menu that keeps us coming back. A solid 5 stars from me. read more

I love that there are food options here now! I ordered the halal chicken pop and you can choose from four varying flavors of spice. I chose the third level, spicy, which had the perfect kick! It comes in a generous size cup with sticks as the utensil which mimics a street market. I got it wit the basil aioli sauce which was so creamy and delicious. I was a regular here. Every TeaDM was great, but what set this one apart from them all outside of this also being a food court with many seating arrangements was the speed. Comparing it to almost every other TeaDM I've been to in the DMV this place made drinks faster than others. I love coming here for their Vietnamese coffees! My favorite has to be their Salted Vietnamese Iced Black coffee. The coffee itself is high quality Vietnamese coffee and you can adjust the sweetness level. I love the salted cold foam on top that balanced out the sweetness and richness of the coffee so well. I ordered a McLoving Tea with 50% sweetness and light ice. It was okay. Had a little bit of a bitter aftertaste, but not too strongly. I enjoyed it regardless. I may opt for 75% sweetness next time when trying another drink. The location is on Route 7, and it looked like they get quite a bit of foot traffic. There were a handful of customers that came and picked up their orders on a Friday night around 7PM. I can assume they are busier during the day. They have a very clean and roomy dining area with plenty of tables and chairs that is shared with a bahn mi sandwich shop. There are a couple kiosks by the door where you can place your order. This place has been around for a little while now, and another gem that has opened in Sterling area. TeaDM originally has locations in Falls Church, Fairfax, etc. Finally they moved out this way, so everyone should go support instead of doing Starbucks and watered down chain coffee places all the time. The Vietnamese iced coffee here is excellent, delicious, and you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. They also have a large, nice variety of different iced flavored coffees, matchas, teas, and boba drinks. Even the fruity bubble tea drinks are good here, and I usually don't prefer those since other places make it too artificial tasting with powders. You can tell TeaDM uses REAL teas, flavors, and fruits. You can literally see it. Other than that, my go-to drinks are the Seasalt Vietnamese iced coffee RTD (ready to drink) with coffee jelly, any of the Thai teas (regular or green Thai tea), or the matchas. ENJOY THIS PLACE!! Update to my first review! The drinks are always consistent and yummy! This time I ordered a sea salt jasmine green tea and it was perfect! I really think the tiny ice also makes a big difference in the drinks. It's much better than large cubes. I also headed over to Bon Me and ordered some Bon Me Tacos.
