Once inside it was a quaint little spot, nice and quiet. Being new to the area and not feeling my best, I was craving a good, hot soup. After a quick search, I came across Asian Noodle House--and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the service stood out. The woman who helped me was incredibly friendly and made the experience even better by chatting with me while I waited. That kind of genuine hospitality definitely makes you want to come back just to say hi. The food did not disappoint either. The pork egg rolls were delicious--crispy and full of flavor. I ordered the brisket pho, and the broth was rich, comforting, and exactly what I needed. It really hit the spot. The food was really great! Loved the food overall but next time I will order something less spicy. It was more spicier than expected. Really good though it was a bit spicy. Always love to support mom and pop restaurants and we were glad to have come across this one in the area. Got there around 2:30pm on a Sat for a late lunch so the place was rather empty. Thai ice tea was refreshing and not too sweet. Pho #1 was delicious! Broth was clear and tasty. Unlike most other Vietnamese restaurants where there were different sizes of pho, there was one size and the portion was perfect. Lemongrass grilled pork was good too but was a bit salty. Fried dumplings were crunchy. Spring rolls was good too although it didn't come with lettuce. Service was quick and staff was very friendly. You don't have to go to Fall Church or Fairfax for authentic Vietnamese food. Leesburg has its own pho hangouts. I was on a business trip and had cravings for a bowl of pho and summer garden rolls. I took a chance at Xuan Saigon, tugged away at a small shopping center Right as you enters the Town of Leesburg on route 7. No crowds, just a quiet dinning area, mellow music playing on speakers, a big bowl of pho #1. The host/waitress took the order, delivered a cup of cold water, and left me to enjoy my food - slowly. Wouldn't be surprised if this place start to get more popular as people venturing out after the pandemic is fully behind us. read more

I dined by myself on a Friday nite at around 6p. I was the only patron in the restaurant, and they didn't fill any takeout orders (or even get calls for them) while I was there. I ordered the steak pho. The meat was very good - not fatty at all. It would have been better if the pieces were smaller as it was a bit hard to take bites of them. Of the items that usually come on the side, the only ones that were brought separately were the lime and jalapeños. The other items that are usually served on the side (bean sprouts and basil leaves) were already in the bowl. The broth was just ok - not as flavorful as other pho places I've eaten. So overall I'd rate the pho as just OK since it's the broth that makes it (IMHO). The service was fine (as I would hope as the only patron). Chicken with the lemongrass chicken dish was tough chicken thighs with little flavor. Apps of spring and regular rolls meh. Spring just had cabbage. There's a sign on the front door that says they are under new management. Looking forward to the new changes. I was craving ramen so I ordered the tonkotsu ramen with pork chashu to go. Honestly, I don't know which version of the pork is the tried and true type but I enjoyed this version as well. It was more dry yet flavorful. I've had super tender pork belly at other establishments and I like that, too. My only complaint is that I wish they stayed open a bit longer but I'll just catch them when I can. read more

This was a lovely find for me. This review is primarily about the food. I think there were only two people working when I went and covid has dramatically altered how restaurants like this operate. So I don't feel like I can comment on the service aspect. The food was very well prepared in my opinion - rich broth on the soup, a nice balance of tangy an savory to the sliced beef salad, and the beef in both that soup and the salad were tender. The pho came with bean sprouts on top (with i liked), and the limes and jalapeños were in the own little dishes. I appreciate that specially because I have a mild jalapeño allergy (I've been cursed apparently). I think the owners are looking to sell. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen with chicken. Everything in this bowl was bland. Chicken was moist but zero flavor. Noodles were good regular noodles and cooked well. Broth was not rich and creamy tonkotsu broth (like it should be) and had to have sriracha dumped in it to make it worth eating. The egg I got wasn't soft boiled and was actually refrigerator temperature cold... clearly not fresh. Two random almost raw mushrooms were also in this bowl with cold corn. Service was good & I was one of three people in here. Music is a mix between elevator and "can you please hold?" - not really fitting the vibe here at all. If you are hungry and in a hurry sure! If you are looking to enjoy fresh delicious ramen there are many other places. The gentleman here was very nice though! Came around 5 PM for dinner. There was one other family already eating when we came in. We sat down and the waitress (there is only one) came by for the menu. We ordered and asked for just water. The water came after our appetizer came out and said she forgot. We waited about 15 more minutes for the food to come out. Which my bf and I were surprised because he got Pho and that usually comes out fast. Everything was okay. The appetizer for 2 were really small which we didn't expect. DO NOT COME HERE!!! It's a waste of money and time!!! If I could give this place a negative star I would. I came into this restaurant under the assumption it was a Vietnamese restaurant. Look at the name and when you search for Vietnamese restaurant, this came up. But it's definitely not Vietnamese. Not authentic at all! The service sucked! This place was not busy at all. There was one couple and me in the restaurant. It took forever to get my dish. My appetizer came out after my main dish. They were spring rolls which doesn't take that long to make in most other places. I order the rolls. Which was not what I expected. It was more of a lettuce roll. Nothing but lettuce in the roll. They gave me like a tablespoon of peanut sauce. When I asked for more, they said they ran out of peanut butter. How is that possible??? They weren't even busy!! I ordered the soft shell crab, which was supposed to be their special. It came out looking like little turds. It was burnt and dry! The crab was definitely over cooked! I've been here a few times. A couple times during the pandemic for pick up and recently dine in. I like the variety of selection here on the menu and the prices. However, I was disappointed the spring roll vermicelli was vegetarian. Most places (if not all) has meat in their egg roll vermicelli. It doesn't say the dish is vegetarian unless you look under the vegetarian section. I was looking at the vermicelli section and there was no indication. It would have also been nice if there was a spring roll and meat combo vermicelli dish. I saw that there was a combo vermicelli dish but wasn't sure what came with it as there was no indication on the menu. I took a Vietnamese sandwich to go and it had tomatoes in it. That was quite disappointing and not what I'm used to. The meat was fine but no pate. The sauce in the seafood noodles are on the sweet side. The orange shrimp was a bit too sweet for me but my husband enjoyed it. He also ordered curry once and while it was quite soupy/liquid-y, the flavor was good. The prices are decent but the portions are a bit on the smaller side. I'd come here to try a few other dishes but it wouldn't be my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. read more

The search for Pho in the western suburbs continues - this has to be the westernmost Pho place in Northern Virginia. Had dinner here this evening. Was not sure what to expect given that several people have given this place extremely poor reviews - my experience was exactly the opposite. I ordered the Garden Rolls, a small bowl of Pho Ga, and a glass of water. The rolls came out first - tasty - but I will ding them on two things - the rolls had iceberg lettuce in them - and little in the way of greens. The peanut sauce was also to watery/thin. The Pho came out quickly - less than 5 minutes after ordering it - two things I will ding them on - the level of the broth in the bowl should have been higher - and the sliced peppers on the plate looked a little less than optimal. I added everything and tasted the broth - which was steaming - as it should be. The broth flavor was excellent! I dug in! I think I inhaled that bowl of Pho Ga faster than any other I've had. I was wishing I had ordered a large bowl. When I went to pay, the little Vietnamese lady asked me if I was going to have dessert - I advised no - she seemed disappointed! :-) I will come back here again! read more

This is my first time here..... I'm a serious Pho fan..... Always looking for new locations everywhere I go! This place had a very friendly wait-staff! The Steak & brisket Pho was good perhaps not the best I have ever had! Something seemed to be missing not sure exactly what. I also ordered a Vietnamese cold coffee which was so strong that in "my humble but accurate opinion" felt like I was drinking 17 cups of coffees in one.... Potent stuff for sure... Decent Vietnamese joint near the Leesburg outlet mall (which is a huge plus)! The good: - The folks here are pretty friendly - Service was decent - The food was generally decent (but meh at times which I'll explain) The ok/meh: - The portions here aren't that big for the pho. It wasn't hard to take down a large pho tai and even the extra noodles were wolfed down pretty fast (and I wasn't that super hungry) - The soup base here for the pho is on the heavier side. I felt incredibly thirsty after I drank some of the it and needed a lot of water offset the soup. - The spring rolls and summer rolls were fine, but nothing memorable Generally I'd say, if you're really dying for Vietnamese food and you don't want to travel far from all the shopping you're doing at the nearby outlet .. this isn't a bad choice. I searched Yelp for a great lunch place and it's been a while since I had Pho, so I decided to try this place because of their great reviews. I was seated immediately and had my drink on the table in less than 60 seconds. When she brought my water, I ordered my appetizer. I started with the fresh garden rolls ($3.75 for 2) which was a large portion! Again, food out to me in about 1-2 minutes. When she brought that out, I was ready to order my lunch. I went with Pho #8 Ga ($7.95 regular bowl). When it came out...holy bowl of Pho it was huge! I can't imagine how big the large bowl is. The food was VERY good, though not the best Pho I've ever had. Pho Saigon in Fredericksburg still has my heart! But I enjoyed some of the best service I've received in a LONG time - and that was very much appreciated! read more

I love getting my Vietnamese fix here! Who would have thought that such a good Vietnamese restaurant would be found in Leesburg. Prices are very here. You can get pho, noodle dishes, and rice dishes for less than 10$ or you can get one of the stir fries for 11-14$. I've had the roasted duck and that was very juicy and flavorful. My absolute favorite here is the spicy beef soup though. I order it without tendon though and get steak instead. I just can't stomach the tendon. The soup is flavorful and perfect on a cold rainy day. It also comes with a spicy and garlicky chili sauce to add to the soup. I have to get 2 of these because it's so flavorful. My sister enjoys their tofu vermicelli bowl. It was also quite tasty. Maybe get that spicy garlic chili sauce with it so that it's more flavorful :) Definitely stop by this place! Really grade spot for Ramen and Pho takeout in Leesburg. They offer a combination of Japanese Ramen/Noodle and Vietnamese dishes on the menu so there is a wide variety of options if you have a crowd. We got Spicy Miso Ramen, Chicken Pho, Pork Bahn Mi, and a Chicken Lemongrass Rice dish. Everything was very good. The Ramen was probably my favorite item, but I would order it all again. I came here for lunch on Colombus day, and it wasn't busy. There were maybe 3-4 other parties in the restaurant eating. The restaurant decor reminds me of a Chinese food place. I noticed on the table the lunch special, which was $7.50 for your choice of 1 spring roll or egg roll, (or a veggie version of these rolls) + fried tofu appetizer or a salad + a bowl of soup or some kind of rice dish. I asked for the #1 (Dac Biet "everything" pho) for my soup of choice with the lunch combo, in which out server said it was okay. When another girl brought out my pho, she stated "I don't know the other person told you, but we only have flank steak for the lunch special soup". It would have been a lot better service and much appreciated if they had told me beforehand (when I put my order in for the #1 soup) that there was only one type of pho that came with the lunch deal... If I were a complicated customer I could see someone getting mad about the lack of clarity. Either way, I'm not rude or picky so it was whatever. The fried tofu appetizer came with three small-medium pieces, with a sweet and sour like dipping sauce on the side. Tofu was plain, but the sauce made it better. Decent appetizer. The spring roll was sadly stuffed with more lettuce and noodles than shrimp and meat. The bowl of pho was a "smaller" portion, which they warned me ahead of time. Which was fine actually. The size was probably only a tad bit smaller than the size of a regular/small at other pho places... That's a thumbs up. Overall, the service is lacking and could definitely improve. Our throughly disappointing dinner consisted of very bland tofu lover dish that did not come with any rice and was very dry without much flavor. The lemongrass vermicelli wasn't much better as the portion size of the vegetables and meat was lacking and had a weird texture (almost like it was too processed). In addition the sauce provided also was on the bland side. Add in the fact that this all costed close to $30 left a very bad impression on us (the tofu dish especially seems egregious considering it was simply steamed vegetables with a few pieces of fried tofu, hardly worth $13).
