Walked in on a holiday around 1230pm party of 6 and was seated right away. We got lucky! Restaurant got pretty busy for weekday lunch. On holidays, there is no separate lunch and dinner price it is dinner price all day. Sounded strange when my family and I first heard about it. That price includes access to the AYCE jumbo crab legs. Mmmm. There's a great mix of food here and the quality IS good. You can pick from various Asian hot dishes, soups, and sushi rolls too. They also have cajun corn and crawfish! My parents LOVE this restaurant! They don't go out to eat very often, but when they do, it'll be here! This was my first time at this all you can eat restaurant, but I enjoyed my experience. We asked to sit where there aren't a lot of people, and they were more than wiling to accommodate our request. The restaurant was clean and the staff were polite. It seems like it's busy during the week, especially during lunchtime. They do have a lot of seating. I didn't see a lot of people waiting to be seated for too long. They have a LOT of options for drinks and food. They have sushi (a variety of types!), seafood, meats, desserts, fruits, rice/noodles and other sides. If you're dining in, you can have a choice of fountain drink, coffee, water or the boba teas that they have in the fridge. It's included in the price. We went for the sushi and a lot of the seafood! Food includes common Chinese AYCE items, Hibachi items, Scallion Lobster, Salmon Sashimi, blue crabs, snow crab legs, large little neck clams. Aurora Buffet was amazing! From the moment you walk in, the décor creates this illusion of stepping into a glowing playground of lights--it's such a vibe. We were greeted right away and seated immediately, which was a plus. The evening crowd was light, so there was no wait at all. The food options felt endless. They had everything from crab legs (cold, boiled, and salt & pepper crabs) to a hibachi and ramen station, plus a wide variety of sushi. There's truly something for everyone. Pretty small buffet but they have a good variety of options. Probably my favorite thing here was the made to order hibachi and the cowboy ribs (can't remember exact name). We came for a weeknight dinner and they were pretty well staffed but service was lackluster (they would take plates away or interact with you if you talked to them but no one was particularly friendly) Plenty of tables. This is a newish place in the area and I would say its definitely worth a try. In terms of asian buffets, its probably below sushi on but that's about it imo. Their ramen section is very good- they use instant paste but the fixings are all there. The hot bars are very good with a variety of dishes you expect at a Chinese place. This is definitely rather 4 than 3 stars with the biggest exception:sodium. If you are not sensitive to salt content this might be not an issue at all,but I was thirsty before end of the day,even drinking a gallon of water. Now to the positive thoughts: place is clean,service is good,looove hibachi station,they cook it from the products you choose from showcase. Sushi are vey generic,but sashimi pieces looks fresh and pretty generous in size. I loved mussels,oysters didn't look appealing, Overall,for lunch it was decent selection for only 17 dollars. Food was really good. Ive been to Umai in Rockville MD that place is terrible and overpriced compared to Aurora. Some of the items weren't fresh but that was a select few otherwise I enjoyed the seafood and sushi was ok. If they can make the rice taste better itll be prime for the price. Also emjoyed the boba it was refreshing. For example the frog legs had literally no seasoning. The find option here is better just further away for me. Service was incredible too. Who doesn't love a buffet? We were excited to hear that Aurora was close by, and better yet, really affordable. When we got here, we were seated and drink orders were taken. Note that there is no alcohol at this establishment. After that, we were left to fend for ourselves. We got up to fill our plates and just kept eating. There are a lot of food options like galbi, coconut shrimp, chicken, and more. There are also some questionable items like the cheese oyster and the majority of the sushi line. But overall, give or take, we were really satisfied. There's also ramen and hibachi, which I did not partake in. I also noticed that a lot of the items are restocked often, which is nice. There are a lot of options. The place is big too, so seating isn't difficult. Oh, you might want to bring your own wet wipes because crabs can get messy and they didn't have any. read more

Kids over 10 pay adult price. They have boba tea drinks (pre-made). Ice cream options. Soda and teas are included in the price (but the OGs get hot tea iykyk). There's a hibachi grill and a ramen station with four offerings. We honestly didn't get to the ramen. There's a sushi station with a pretty decent selection of california rolls, tuna/eel surimi, fried shrimp, and poke sashimi (salmon, yellowtail, etc). The chinese food section was great. It had all the seafood we expected. There was crab, crawfish, mussels, snails, oysters, lobster, fish heads, sea bass, and various kinds of shrimp/ebi. There was also teriyaki chicken, beef, and mushrooms and even bok choy. There's a western section with a roast beef, mac and cheese, fries, ribs, and pizza--it doesn't get more old school than this! xD Plenty of fruit and dessert options too. Lots of food photos show stone crabs, short ribs, snow crab legs and other delectable seafood options. PLEASE note lunch does not include stone crabs, snow crab legs, short ribs and other tempting dishes. Lunch is basically a Chinese buffet, a hibachi station and a small self serve sushi station. The food stations included fried foods, cooked seafood varieties of fish and shrimps. The cold seafood station had a shrimp cocktail on ice and other cold seafood. The Chinese portion had the typical ribs, wings, fried rice, lo mein, salt & pepper whole shrimp and popcorn type shrimp. The hibachi was made to order. They offered an area of hot dishes that included oxtails and oysters on the half shell. There was something missing in the quality. We tried a little of everything. The whole pepper shrimp was soggy after I peeled it. I couldn't eat it. The popcorn shrimp was way too salty. The lo mein had no flavor. I love Chinese food and flavor was not there. The sushi was being made fresh but it was a lot of veggie types. The soy sauce was super watered down. The hibachi was very greasy and since you can create your own, I asked them not to put all the soy sauces. The oxtails were super tough as was the ribs. Service was ok, plates were cleared off but drink refills were never offered. I'm glad I came for lunch because I probably won't come for dinner. I'm so glad Aurora opened out here in Leesburg! It was busy but not overwhelming. The layout is similar to Sushi On at Fair Oaks. The price per person was $29+ on a Sunday night. Considering how expensive food is these days, this is a very good deal! The staff is fast and attentive. The sushi was average. No Unagi sauce on the eel which was disappointing. Some of the tuna and salmon were a little dried out. The fresh fruit was wonderful. The spare ribs were outstanding as was the General Chao's chicken, the short ribs, and popcorn shrimp in a coconut sauce. They had blue crabs and although on the small side they were fun to eat. The crayfish were in abundance and cooked well. The beef in orange juice was all grizzle! There were so many things to try! This is just my first time so more to report another time! So I'm told Aurora just opened last week. Then I would say that Aurora is running extremely well considering it's a new restaurant. It's also already very popular. The restaurant was about half filled when we arrived about 4:00pm on a Saturday, but when we left there was a long line way out the door. A few rough spots in Aurora do need to be smoothed out and polished. They've got just too many tables crammed into that space, especially in the section in the corner near the hibachi grill. It's so crowded it's hard to maneuver through the aisles. Getting seated was a textbook case of a restaurant trying to stick you at a lousy table (one that was sticking way out into a busy aisle) because they don't think you'll complain, even though there are plenty of other better tables they could put you at. Well, I did complain and was able to get re-seated in a booth. As far as the food goes, it's pretty much typical of an Asian AYCE. But yep, the seafood selection is excellent and its quality high. I really liked their taro buns, which I would have called steamed custard buns. But honestly what I loved most was the slices of fresh ripe mango. It's so much work to prepare a mango for eating, that to have it already prepped, I took advantage of the situation and loaded up. Was pleasantly surprised that the Hibachi had well-seasoned thin-sliced steak. I was delighted to see that they had oxtail. I've never seen those in an AYCE before. I wasn't so delighted though that they had been seasoned with five spice. We would come back, but only if we happened to be in the immediate area. read more

Drove an hr and half to give this place a try. Overall from what I see and tasted, it's just another Chinese buffet. It's new and clean for now but let's wait a year to see if it maintain its cleaniness. Staff were nice and friendly. I like the boba tea fridge they got going. The drinks are pretty good, they are not super sweet like you would get at an actual boba place. These drinks taste like it's watered down and I kinda like that. The only down fall is no ice but you can ask for a cup of ice. Hibachi station could use a little more sauce selection. There was also only one person the the grill. My dish came out kinda salty and bland. The lo mein noodles felt like it wasn't cooked all the way through. Dessert bar was limited, I didn't see anything appealing, I stuck to the ice cream. They had Hershey brand. I also did not see as much seafood, you have snow crabs on ice, shrimp, stuff crabs, small clams, snail, and I think I saw grilled fish too. Sushi bar was decent. Just left a bit ago from here. Loved the place first time going second time I went for lunch. Unfortunately I found raw chicken in my food (in photos below) i immediately reported this to my server. She then brought over the manger. I showed him and even showed compared to the other chicken that was cooked that it was rare. He said it was because of the "seasoning". I think you can clearly see that is it not the case. Second we came in during lunch hours and then was charged for dinner prices. Beyond disappointed will be reporting this sadly. read more

Was in the area for a doctor appointment so decided to stop by here for lunch afterward. The place is pretty big so we were seated right away. The lunch crowds filled up the place with only a few empty tables. Most buffet places are bang for the bucks with taste are not that important. Surprising, all the food that I tried were very good. Nothing is salty or bland. I was too full to try the sushi and dessert. For the lunch price, it's really good. After tax it's about $20 per person before tips. Tons of typical Asian dishes (beef with peppers, coconut shrimp, fried shrimp, spare ribs, crab Rangoon, egg rolls). One dish that was what you'd get at a boil-n-bag seafood joint. A hibachi station. Bubble tea to drink while your there, pastries, and packaged ice cream treats. What I didn't see there but see a photo of from another Yelper was lobster - so I'll need to go back. Wow this all you can eat buffet was so worth the price and the food options were delicious!! At $27 per person on the weekends, the type of options they had was a steal. They had oxtail, crab rangoons, shrimp, craw fish, clams, chicken wings, sushi, sashimi, and so much more! My favorites were their oxtail since it was flavored so well and very tender. Endless lobsters , stone crab, fresh oysters, King crabs legs under $30 really missed this kind of buffet since PeterPan in Fairfax, Bamboo in Falls Church closed over 15 years ago. came here when I read about their grand opening weekend. we arrived around 5 PM and there weren't a lot of people. this restaurant is very big and spacious for sure. there are lots of seating options. when you first enter, you'll see their extravagant wall that pops out at you. they have a customized statue by the front door to greet you as well. at the host stand, you'll see the buffet area. with the wide range of food available, you won't even know where to start. after you're seated, they ask if you want a beverage (that is included in your price). then it's off to the races where you'll pile the food onto your plate. from fresh cut fruit, to seafood, American food, Chinese food and the sushi counter in the back, it's a lot. we tried just about a little of everything. my mom complained the snow crab legs didn't have much meat. the sushi wasn't bad, there was a fairly long line for it. bubble tea is offered in the fridge for your consumption. complimentary ice cream is located next to the bubble tea fridge. all in all, for the price it's not bad. The buffet quality is good. It now includes lobster on weekend. However, I think they need to set some rules to limit people from taking all the lobster in one trip. I know this is an AYCE buffet, but some people just standing there to wait for the lobster to be refilled. When the refill came, these people have no shame to take a "mountain full" of lobster on a single trip. I saw a table with 3 adults which have 4 big plates of lobster. I paid the same price, I had none lobster because of these greedy people. Some suggestion to the business owner: 1) have your staffs to distribute the lobster, maybe 5 to 6 pieces for each customer who is waiting in line. 2) deliver lobster (base on number of people) to the table when requested. Credits to this restaurant, they refill lobster frequently. Today, 5/9/2026, I was there for 90 mins. They refill like 4 times of lobster. But I had zero chance to even get any lobster. During my initial visits the food was average but it has gotten significantly better and now serves some of the best Chinese Food that I have ever eaten.
