Let me start by saying I'd highly recommend Bubbles for the quality of the work and professionalism. The windows and screens were filthy and they shine, now. The weather had been awful, but they watched the forecast and knew when to come to start with the inside work. I'd read earlier reviews so I knew to tell them that a 40 ft. ladder would be needed. I was surprised that they charged for every little thing though as the company I used previously did not: $40 for the ladder, $3 for cleaning each of the tracks, and extra for the inside of the skylights (I would have called those windows). I suppose that other companies also charge for each storm window and screen, too. Tips for the future - Ask about all the costs. Post sticker shock, I'm pleased. read more

Very responsive in calling back. (Unlike a lot of companies). They did a great job with the windows and my light fixtures which are all glass. Very diligent, hardworking team of two. We weren't too impressed with this company, after having used them in the past. We got "rescheduled" several times, and when they finally did the job, it seemed like they just hurried though the window cleaning as fast as they possibly could, Also, they didn't do our 2nd & 3rd story front windows as the guy said he couldn't get his ladder past a couple of trees (we've had a number of other people, including Bubbles, not have a problem with this in the past). After enduring the almost comical incompetence of a fly-by-night window-washing duo (chosen by the landlord [!]), I took a seat in the Yelp cockpit and found Bubbles. Don't let the goofy name fool you -- these guys are professionals. They arrived on time to assess and offer a quote--an extremely competitive one at that. This pattern continued for the work itself: arrived on time, cleaned the junk from the window wells as requested, honored their quote, and were professional through and through. We have used this company for the last 3 years. We had issues with communication and service with the company last year regarding scheduling and had no shows with the technician. When the gutter service was done, I noticed that the gutters that were difficult to reach were not done at all. The company had been apologetic for the communication problems, so I elected to use them again this year out of convenience. We had communication problems again this year. We had a long conversation with a technician about the amount of deck sealant to purchase, and bought that amount. When a different technician was sent to do the job, he asked why we weren't providing brushes and rollers, something that had not been mentioned before. He had to go to Home Depot to purchase. When he got back and looked at our sealant he stated that we had not purchased enough. We went back to home depot to buy another gallon of sealant (more than 20 dollars), which ended up NOT being used at all. After the deck was dry, we went out to inspect and it became evident that the stuff was applied pretty unevenly, there were completely bare patches. The deck railing on the stairs hadn't been done at all. Built in benches, which we requested be done, were not done. I contacted the office to discuss the problems with the poor communication and incomplete application, and although they were apologetic, they declined to reduce the fee for the labor, but still wanted $500 for the job. It's an expensive service, it should be done correctly in the first place, but if it isn't, a business focused on customer service should rectify issues when the issues occur on their end. Very disappointing, will look somewhere else next year. read more

Bubbles just came out to clean 40 exterior windows and screens on a home we just moved into that probably had not had the windows washed in 3-4 years. They also ended up cleaning an exterior light fixture on our front porch as a last minute request. Very pleased with the work. Getting a quote and scheduling the job was super easy. 15 windows in 2 hours...very thorough, detailed job by one gentleman. My windows sparkle! My one negative is the $100 base price which gets added to with "extras" like cleaning the tracks and frames. Who the heck cleans just the glass and not the rest? They would win more customers by building these items into the initial quote. read more

Terribly unprofessional. After scheduling 3 different appointments for service (quote, gutter cleaning and gutter install) these appointments were rescheduled a total of 7 times after they were no-shows. Expect to spend several days waiting around the house hoping they show up to do the work. read more

I said I would be back and it took me 2 years. Don't judge. Bubbles just left and my filthy windows are now sparkling clean. Similar to before, I walked up to a window and touched it to see if it was open. It wasn't. It was just clean. The Bubble's team was on time, courteous, fast and reasonably priced. What they did in less then an hour would have taken me all day, a lot of sweating and grumbling and would have resulted in me just smearing the dirt all over the windows. This is one of the most poorly run business' I have even had the misfortune to have in my home. The were dishonorable, the quote they gave me over the phone didn't even come close to being what they wanted to charge. they added about $250.00 more when thry arrived here. The workers were LAZY and decided to take a 45 minute siesta in my front yard after the had already taken an hour lunch break and were 4 hours late arriving from their estimated time of arrival. Worst of all, I walked in to find on the the 'newer' workers looking through my bathroom drawers, 1 drawer above where I keep my jewelry. I didn't call the police, as I KNOW I caught him right as he was opening it (divine intervention) but threw them out of my house immediately.. There are more problems that occurred with them. but suffice it to say don't waste your time and money. read more

On 2 occasions were scheduled to come clean gutters and windows at our place and BOTH times did not show up during the scheduled time frame. First time we gave them a pass and just rescheduled, but the second time, they called, said the technician was on his way, but he never showed up. When we called them to ask, they said they were trying to locate him.....big fail. Lots of other companies that do a fine job of this same work that are MUCH more reliable. read more

truly a waste of time ; came out for estimate , told me will provide one by email . i received an email as an invoice without job description , so i called to see what's up . after multiple phone calls they advised me they can't do the work because they only have a 32 ' ladder technician . whoever did the estimate could't figure out how tall the building is ? it's a two story chicago two flat , how tall do you think it is ? i don't about their actual cleaning but this was a waste of my and their time . read more

The crew was prompt, had the necessary equipment, were respectful of dirty shoes when they came into individual units, were thorough, and the windows are amazingly spotless. Bubbles washed my windows last year but damaged my bathroom window treatments. The manager even came afterwards to try to repair it but was unable to do so. Now I am left with the headache of trying to get it repaired. I am surprised that a company that washes windows does not know how to raise a set of window shades without damaging them. Worst experience ever!!! Save yourself the time and energy and hire another company to wash your windows. Hired this company to clean mine and my neighbors windows. Two technicians came out to do the work. I paid them (in cash), but didn't check the work because I was in the middle of a conference call and trusted that they work that I paid for was done. Big mistake!! A day later I go out to check and my neighbors windows had not been cleaned. I was beyond annoyed. Was even more annoyed when a few days later I get a call from Bubbles saying that I have an outstanding bill. I told them I paid but they said that money never reached their site- not my problem! After some back and forth on the phone, the guy I spoke to at Bubbles tells me I don't have to worry about the bill and that they will send someone out again to do the work. Some weeks later another technician comes out, I explain to him what needs to be done. I come out 1/2 hour later to check on the work and the guy is gone and surprise surprise, they windows have not been cleaned. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! As of this weekend, I have received two emails telling me that I have an outstanding bill with them. I have called to relay the multiple conversations that I have had with the person I spoke to weeks before and no resolution. 2 hours late and poorly planned. I arranged for Bubbles to wash my windows -- about 40 windows, inside and out. They said they would send one person and he would do the job in two to four hours. I said in the past it had taken three people four hours to do the job, but they insisted their "technicians" were fast. He was supposed to arrive between 11:00 and 2:00. By 2:10, he still had not arrived. I called and was told that he would not be able to finish his first job for another hour and a half. That meant he wouldn't arrive at my house until 3:45 at the earliest. I had to leave the house at 6:00, so it seemed completely impossible that he would be able to finish the job in time. They offered me an appointment later in the week, but I decided not to take the risk. I will find another window washer. read more

This company was a no show two years in a row, and in both cases they completely stopped responding after the scheduled appointment date had come and gone.. I understand that gutter cleaning is weather dependent (due to freezing), but I explained to them when I made the appointment this year that they never showed after three reschedules and that I just really needed to make sure the gutters get cleaned since we can't go through two winters without cleaning them. When it looked like it may be below freezing on my date, I asked if they could possibly move the date up. She said they would try to come out "today or tomorrow". They didn't show or let me know they weren't going to come. Then when my scheduled date came, I emailed in the morning to see if they were still coming. She said that yes, still coming between 2 & 4. At around 4 I emailed to see what was up, no response. I have emailed a couple of times since, no response.
