There was nothing said about needing to cancel a membership after the 30 days. I received my next credit card bill and I was charged $42.99. This company does a great job for what it offers. This is not a "car detailing service"! It is great for keeping the everyday grim and dust off of your vehicle. When this location initially opened, there was a car detailing service between the single row of vacuums and the wash building. This service went away with the addition of more vacuum stations. I was sorry to see it go It is a great value for a quick and easy car wash. If you wish to detail your car yourself, the vacuum stations work nicely for that. I paid 31 dollars for a wash and wax for my vehicle. After going through the wash, my truck still had the dirt from the rain that was dried on the vehicle, bug splatter on the front, and dirt on my mirrors. After paying 31 dollars for a wash, I expected a better outcome. The convenience factor is not worth it because the wash doesn't clean my vehicle. It was really a rip-off. I suggest the person who does scrub brush exert some effort to remove the visible bug splatter and dried dirt film from the rain. November 15 at approximately I visited Todays Car Wash here in Harker Heights. This is the second time that I have had a problem with this particular car damaging my vehicle a 2011 Nissan Armada Platinum. The first incident was the brushes tore off my right rear tail light and bracket. The manager came out and tried to say that there was a gap between the bracket and the frame of the vehicle. I stated to him that is is the same on both sides. Bottom line they refused to pay for the damage. Today the brushes got in between my hood and my right front fender and snatched a chunk of paint off. I had one of the workers to call the manager out and showed her the damage. She then asked me the year of my vehicle to which I stated 2011. She then began to say because the vehicle is over 10 years the integrity of the vehicle caused that. I then stated, go look at the other side to which she did but could not find anything wrong. So she then states that when the vehicle is over 10 years of age they do not pay for repairs. I bet that is not anywhere visible as you enter the car wash. So basically the car washes can damage your vehicle and not pay for it because they have a manager on duty that considers themselves mechanic. Before you leave the premises you need to check your vehicle and if it 10 years old they will find a way not to pay for damages. Will be talking to a lawyer about this. The first incident cost me $365.00 and will get an estimate of this one. One last thing, I have visited the other Todays Var Washes and had no problems. Just this on! read more

There were some good and some bad things about this car wash. I feel like the most expensive wash was over priced. We got the was for $12 and it didn't fully clean my car. I still saw some bug splatters and finger prints in some areas. The free vacuums were nice and the workers were vigilant. Some were taking out the garbage and others were assisting at the pay area. Absolutely loved todays carwash in Belton been a member since they opened. since it sold it is run down, they no longer brush your windows, lights to exit does not work, no employees to be found except for the one spraying at entrance, hardly any towels and they are soured, some of the vacuums are broken and the list continues. I pay my membership yearly and now that is no longer offered. I do not and will not have money drawn out of my account Every month. So disappointed in the state it has become. No complaints so far... I've utilized this service in Harker Heights and Killeen numerous time now. It's very convenient, cost is reasonable (you pay for the price of 2-3 washes per month and can get as many as you want! Even drive through like 5x in one day and still pay the price for a few!), and unlimited vacuum use as well, this place comes complete with full self service and I appreciate the venue and simplicity of it all. Short version: do not go to Todays Car Wash chain. They will damage your car and refuse to fix it. Long version: stopped to get the car washed. Payed for the Ultimate wash. Realize now that it is ironically named. On conveyor going through and feel a thunk. Thought at the time the conveyor slipped. Get out at vacuums and realize the shark fin cover for the radio is gone. Go back to people who check and find the fin in the car wash. They try and put me off acting like it is no big deal. I tell them it is. I go back to my car and spend an hour in the heat waiting for them to come out and fill out the paperwork. I get the distinct feeling they are trying to handle me. They hand me a slip finally and the manager tells me I will get a call by 5. Go home, no call. Set up appt at dealership to fix car. Next day, at dealership call carwash. The slip they gave me had the wrong location number. I look up number and call. Talk to manager who filled out paperwork day before. See on slip she had marked call back by the next day, but had told me by 5. Verbally it was treated like same day call by 5. She reviewed the footage. See me come in with fin, see it come off at blowers. I reiterate what I told her the day before. She flat out tells me she knows that her equipment did not damage my car. I reference the video she just watched. Adamant, she says they will not pay to fix. I tell her I don't appreciate being called a liar when their video backs me up. I tell her my next step is small claims court as the dollar amount to fix is right at my deductible. She refuses to budge. I ask for district manager to call me. Hang up, dealer actually had part in stock. They fix it while I waste an hour or two. Soooo... factory installed shark fin (covers the roof antenna) on 2017 car with no roof issues before wash gets broken by carwash that tells me to go pound sand. Keep in mind it has 5 screw that were sheer out of contact by blunt force and the cover has a chip she insists was caused by it hitting the machinery after it left roof. Soo......Do not go to the Todays Carwash chain. Not a good place, not ethical. #todayscarwash Oh and the district manager that was supposed to call me in 24 hrs ? Never heard from him. read more

I should have read the reviews first and I would not have purchased the inside cleaning. I had to vacuum again and they didn't even try to get the seats. I could even see where they half attempted to wipe the handles due to the cleaner being shiny on the black so it showed spotty at best. Read the review about not vacuuming the trunk and true to word had to vacuum that also. I thought because I seen a supervisor walking around them and watching they would be doing a good job but not so. Excellent service! Very COVID-19 conscious. Courteous and friendly staff. A clean waiting area if you choose with clean restrooms. Magazines to read and a tv to watch. But they are fairly fast, so don't get to involved with a tv program. LOL. They also present you with a choice of various car air fresheners, if desired. The rates are posted far enough back so you have plenty of time to choose your wash or leve. You drive through the touchless wash. However, if you would like, they will hand dry, clean all missed stops, windows and interior. Too expensive. Since the machine basically runs itself I rather not have someone come out, take my card and swipe it for me like I'm an idiot. I went for the first time and wanted a chance to read through the options especially since there wasn't a car behind me but no, some nasty girl comes out and rushes me, takes my card and has an attitude. No thanks or anything. I move along and then kids with brushes are getting pissed off that I'm not moving up fast enough. There was a car in front of me. I also don't like that people are manually using brushes when the machine itself has brushes. I can see if maybe it's a big dirty truck, a work vehicle or something, but my car is neither. I just don't trust these brushes that probably never get cleaned and go from vehicle to vehicle and probably did clean dirt off something. Anyway, that's just too many brushes. It's common sense. will not be back. My car has been through plenty of automatic brush car washes followed by detailing and has no scratches. Going to this car wash consistently, after a while there will be no way to save your paint. If you really want these kids working for you, move them onto hand drying the car because the air dryer will never get it all. Still, I don't think it's worth $16. read more

The attendant said with receipt I can come back for a BASIC wash. Why not offer the middle one? Even though I have to rate this place, I'm actually giving this place ZERO stars! This was my second time here, I didn't have any issues last time. Today was pretty busy and there was only one line open. I was up next but the guy closed the line by placing a cone in front of the machine and opened up the other line. I didn't get the guy's name but he was huge and Hispanic or Pacific Islander. He had two cars pass me and had me get behind those cars even though it was my turn! I asked him why he didn't just had everyone back up and he responded with, "Well this is cashier two and that was cashier one." I said, "What does that have to do with me being next? Use to like using this car wash. Use to get my car detailed 1-2 times a week. They have gotten rid of that service. Employees don't seem to want to work. They'd rather be goofing off cussing and not paying attention to the customer. I have been a customer for many years ,maybe 10, and have always enjoyed the convenience and speedy service provided by this business. They do provided a much needed service missing in Harker Heights when they first opened. Recently I did have a bad experience with the business due to damage done to my vehicle. I have been a loyal monthly customer with this vehicle for over two years and use it many times a week and never had an issue before, but this time as I was going through the carwash my fuel door was opened during the wash and the system ripped it off. Now after talking with the site manager Greg he advised me that they been having issues with BMW'S and their fuel doors opening. I was honestly surprised as I use it often and have not experienced that. After their internal investigation the site manager told me it was not the car wash fault as my manual states the fuel door should be locked. I advised him that I know it does not state that and he was wrong and he should have advised BMW's owner of this issue with their carwash. He told me my car had a recall and I am honestly shocked how a manger can just make things up and say those things about my car. I told him i contacted BMW there is no recall on my vehicle and the manual does not state to lock the fuel door. I should have been advised by the personnel working there of this issue as locking the car is simple. I am surprised about this situation and Would love for someone else to contact me about this as i am sure we can verify the recall and the owner manuals about the door locking. Friendly and helpful staff. Bring a drying cloth along, or pay a little more and have the guys do it for you. The dryers don't get the vehicle 100% dry, but that's to be expected. Recently had my carpets cleaned and they look like new again. Definitely worth the $39. Free vacuums are great and they even have a nice indoor waiting area. read more

"Today's Car Wash" has poor management evident by the lack of quality control after a vehicle has been so called washed. I brought this lack of quality control (My car was still dirty on the front hood and on the mirrors) to a manager today. The Manager just offered me excuses as why the vehicle still had dirt on it. This was unacceptable in my opinion. Background. I have two vehicles that get washed twice a month at "Today's Car Wash" for $16.00 a time, therefore, two cars equals $64.00 a month (Four Washes) $768.00 a year. My son and daughter also used "Today's Car Wash" too, spending about the same amount of money as we do ($768.00 a year). Combined $1,536.00 a year for my extended family. Therefore, I will never go and have any of our vehicles washed again at this business. We spoke to a female who told us that the deal is when you purchase for multiple cars the cost of the second and subsequent cars is $24.00. So what happened? I purchased the first one for 29.99, and then I brought my second car in and was charged an additional $29.99 and in order to correct that I was charged $24.00 with no refund. I went back to the store to get a refund and got charged another $29.99 I only have 2 vehicles. Apparently the personnel on site have no idea how to refund on a credit card.
