So happy we stumbled upon this little campground. Out of all the campgrounds we visited this summer (including Jellystone in Mt. Gilead), this was the kids favorite. I felt safe letting them ride their bikes and play at the playground. It is close to anything you'd need and about a 25 minute drive to Old Man's Cave. We also had a small issue (which turned into a non-issue) in the beginning with someone else plugged into our 30 amp and the lady at the office couldn't have been nicer and took care of everything right away. There are so many activities for both children and adults. We ziplined, did the challenge course, danced the night away, played parachute games, rented a golf cart and bikes. I'm leaving out a plethora of other activities available. They have a great gift shop/snack bar, pizza is good. Sites are clean and spacious. Bathrooms and bath houses available. All of the other campers were so friendly. Super safe and gorgeous place.

Last summer, Fiancé and I got placed in sit-in kayaks for the first time. Less than a mile down the river, he complains that he's really uncomfortable, and isn't sure what to do with his feet. Turns out they set him off on a 6-mile trip with NO FOOTRESTS inside the kayak. So Fiancé's excursion ended with a lot of lower back pain. This summer, I went online and reserved an 11-mile trip at 10:00 on a Sunday, three weeks in advance. They called to confirm that I was squared away. Then when I showed up at 9:55, I was told they weren't opening until 11 that morning. When I said I had a 10:00 reservation for the 11-mile trip, they said they hadn't been doing the long trips all week. They didn't have any of my information available, or lost it, so instead of a phone to call give me a heads up, I find this out after driving 35 minutes to the livery. Until they can fix their equipment and have a better booking system in place, I'm done with this company. Our bodies and our time are far too valuable to risk any more mishaps.

First time was three years ago ....there are new owners, a nice young couple who just took over Wolfies. There are upgrades already... the sites have concrete patios, are spacious and seems like they have new gravel, grass is kept well. Very attractive and clean Bathrooms are spotless. The online pictures created expectations that simply were not met when we arrived. To make matters worse, campsites were not clearly labeled, which resulted in another camper taking our reserved site. Management was very disorganized and, instead of taking responsibility and resolving issues efficiently, seemed to have an excuse for everything. The site we were ultimately assigned was basically a mud pit and not suitable for the premium price we paid. Many of the amenities advertised were either under construction or unavailable during our stay, yet this was not adequately communicated beforehand. We chose this campground and paid the higher rates expecting the advertised experience, but what we received fell far short. For the amount of money spent, this campground was simply not worth it. Hocking Hills itself is beautiful, but we left feeling frustrated and misled. Unfortunately, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this campground to others.

False advertisement for pool on the premises. Shower house on a Friday evening was ridiculous. The first door was locked to a shower, second one shower head didn't work, and the 4th was draining improperly, leaving one working shower. Would not recommend at all.
