I agree with the other review. Is there a way to give them negative stars? I have never had Wi-Fi…read moreat the house but I figured I would give it a shot to try to increase my internet speed when I'm at home. Over the course of 10 months and having it personally installed and paying for that installation, I've had to reset the router at least 20 times. I've called customer service at least a dozen times because the Wi-Fi just goes out whenever it feels like. So what's the purpose of having the Wi-Fi if I end up having to use the hotspot on my phone? Then of course after 6 months the price goes from the intro rate of $50 to $100 a month and it seems like the internet just goes that much slower at that point. I don't use the internet a whole bunch. I may watch a movie occasionally and I had a fire stick on a second TV in the bedroom. Maybe check my email. Nothing ridiculous and I was not able to get good service. So after 9 months I discontinue my service and took my modem up here to the Buckeye office. When I discontinued my service you would think they would have told me where to take it but no. They tacked on the modem to my final bill. When I called customer service they were not helpful at all on telling me a location to return it. When I went to this location the customer service representatives were nice but so are the people at the car dealerships. They did let me know that I had received an older modem and that's probably why I was having so many issues. But as I told him over the dozen phone calls and 24 resets no one told me this and why would they give me a old modem when I'm opening up new service. No way. If there's anyone else available in your area use them

However, I would like to recognize the Technical Support Team, as they patiently assist whenever I call. In particular, I'd like to recognize Al in Technical Support for his 5-star efforts to assist me with a telephone issue last night. For some reason, every time I called my mom's Buckeye landline from my cell phone yesterday, I would get horrible static. Al took the time to check my mom's line by calling her several times, including calling her from an AT&T line (my cell phone provider). He suggested that the problem could be due to something on AT&T's end. We agreed to end our call so I could attempt to resolve the issue with AT&T and that he would call me back approximately 45 minutes later. Al kept his word and followed up with me as promised. While we were unable to resolve the problem last night, he offered to have a tech go to my mom's home to troubleshoot further. By this morning, my problem was somehow resolved and my mom reported that she was having better sound clarity than ever on her phone. We were both impressed with Al's diligence and dedication. While Buckeye receives many negative comments about its high cost, (and rightly so), I do want to give a shout-out to Al in Technical Support for going above and beyond. Thanks so much Al! We appreciate you!

I went with the only option (DirecTV) and was disappointed in the lack of user-friendly options, the remote wasn't easy to use, all the little bonuses of DISH weren't available like Remote Finder, Light up Remote, etc. Basically DIRECTV was terrible and their customer service was horrible, particularly after they were purchased by ATT. I moved back to Ohio 2 yrs ago and just brought DIRECTV with me. Recently I finally gave up after a really bad ongoing experience with their IT helpdesk and called DISH, the person I spoke with "Dan" from "El Paso" was FANTASTIC! He was so easy to deal with, easy to understand, and took care of all my needs in a matter of minutes. The DISH tech rep was out 2 days later, hooked everything up and now... for $30 less a month, I have a better system, with more channels and better customer service. If you cannot get cable where you are, go with DISH!

After that year, they triple your monthly service and refuse to adjust your bill. So, they tell you that you either have to pay or cancel. I canceled my service; the agent I got was horrible and my service over the last year has been mediocre at best. My advice is to go with DirectTv or even cable. Biggest mistake I ever made was switching to Dish.
