I rented this cabin to celebrate & surprise my husband for his 40th birthday and not to toot my own horn but.....TOOT TOOT because my hubby was so surprised & really enjoyed himself!! :))) This wifey did good!! ;)) We rode my hubby's motorcycle to Luckenbach and the ride itself is so peaceful, very scenic, & it's guaranteed that you'll see lots of deer on your ride to Luckenbach Lodge so be careful & keep an eye out. The cabin itself was super cute and very clean! I chose cabin #1 because of the tub and I am so glad I did! Once you figure out how to turn on all of the features for this awesome tub it is sooooo relaxing! I'm talking "Calgon Take Me Away" relaxation!! ;)) My husband and I really took advantage of taking our "spa-like" baths together during our stay! :))) We also really enjoyed lounging on the back patio and listening to the live music playing at the Luckenbach music stage, which is literally across the creek from the cabin. The cabin did have a mini fridge stocked with complimentary waters & sodas (thanks Paul), a microwave, Keurig coffee machine, plenty of towels, a portable small grill, and tv. Just an FYI, the cabin only had a small wall barrier that didn't go all the way up to the ceiling separating the bathroom area from the bed area & no door so having privacy while in the bathroom really wasn't a thing so for those of you who are newbies in your relationship, my advice to you is to tell your honey to wait out on the patio ;)) while you have your one to one time w/ the bathroom or you can just take care of business over at the Luckenbach stage area where there are plenty of clean restrooms for use :)). We truly enjoyed our stay at the Luckenbach Lodge and for sure we will be returning very soon but next time we are going to be staying more than just 1 night! -Rebecca out

It was Heaven and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to return for our 21st wedding anniversary this past February 2022. This stay was for longer and we didn't think it could be any better than our 1st visit and yet it was. The weather was very cold but the days were beautiful and cabin 3 had a wonderful heater that warmed the cabin perfectly. Our 1st morning we woke up to find the Keurig coffee maker was not working. My husband sent Paul an email to make him aware of this just as an FYI knowing we would need to drive to the nearest store for our morning fix. We left that morning as we had a full day planned ahead of us and to our surprise when we returned at the end of the day there was a brand new Keurig awaiting us at the door!! My mom eventually went back only to have the A/C go out and had to find other accommodations. So I have never stayed there; but decided to challenge the bad luck by booking the same room. Bad idea; because the instant I stepped in the room I hated it. The windows overlook nothing except the top of a dirty old building. The room instantly fought back as the A/C decided not to work and within 45 minutes of walking in the door it was 96 degrees and climbing. I don't think this room likes the Rooster family. Welcome to a better room; the beautiful Hill Country Lodge! This country themed room is charming and overlooks Main Street Fredericksburg and all its activities. Nice decorations, bed, bath, and a shower head that could take the freckles off your skin. Our only complaint was the tiny television; think 19 inch. So the price was great at $150 with tax; cursed room aside we had a great time. No breakfast as the name denotes; but on to the brew portion. You have the option to go down to the restaurant/brewery (directly below) and have a free beer or you can do what we did. Line up a sample glass of every beer they make! A few spinning in your head stair steps and your back in your room. Get a HD tv and I'll be back with 5 stars in my eyes.

The location couldn't be better- it's directly on Main Street, which means you don't have to drive anywhere at all if you plan on spending the day doing a multitude of activities all up and down the street (shopping, visiting museums, eating, going to art galleries, tastings, etc.). There is a lovely wine bar with old warm charm and a grand piano right nextdoor, in fact. The decor in the room is simply stunning, with the most unique art pieces filling the space. The bright colors make it impossible for you to not be upbeat and cheery! The space was recently renovated as well, and all furniture and fixtures are top notch. There's a solid marble table, leather upholstered couch and dining chairs, a steel canopy bed, a stone double shower with a built in seat, a jacuzzi tub for two, a balcony overlooking main street, and a cable tv, to mention just a few of the amenities you'll find there. I was also surprised at how luxurious and comfortable the bed and linens were- I usually don't want to get completely under the covers when traveling, but that was not the case here! Most important to me, was the cleanliness of the entire space. My biggest drawback to traveling- even in supposedly upscale places- is that there's always something gross somewhere in the room or yellowing on the tub, etc, but we did not encounter that at all here. I couldn't believe how absolutely spotless everything was! Even the outdoor furniture was completely dust and pollen free and we could actually sit on the furniture and enjoy the balcony. I want to learn all their cleaning secrets and use them at home- I have no idea how they keep that patio so clean! The tub and shower were also immaculate. I noticed some previous reviewers' comments about the noise, but we didn't have any issues with this. We were there at a busy time, but the noise was nothing out of the ordinary to me. There's a white noise box in the room also to help those who might be a little more sensitive. My only regret is that we did not stay longer. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

The cottage had just the right amount of roominess to feel cozy. It had top of the line appliances, Samsung TV, refrigerator, full kitchen with microwave, coffee pot with coffee, etc, snacks, comfy bedding, nice sitting area with a comfortable love seat and chair, a table and two chairs, the bathroom was nice, not big, but, supplied with all our needs, outside the front door was a concrete patio seating area with a table covered with an umbrella. We felt secluded and enjoyed every bit of time spent there! In fact, one night, we stayed in and watched Netflix. Also, access was very private. No noice that we heard. We couldn't have been more pleased. I would have liked breakfast to have been included, but we couldn't have everything, but had everything else. This made the price, right for a stay in Fredericksburg. We loved staying at Viola Pearl and will again. The host was lovely, but, not, at all, intrusive. We highly recommend a stay at Viola Pearl! Sky Texas Hill Country Resort was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we booked to the moment we checked out every employee was SPECTACULAR! Always friendly smiles and excellent hospitality. The resort is beautifully nestled amidst the rolling hills, providing breathtaking views from every angle. The accommodations were top-notch; we purchased two cabins, and they were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with a touch of rustic charm. I especially loved the back porches where I could sip my morning coffee/tea (all provided in cabin) while admiring the stunning landscape and one of three ponds. The resort offers a variety of activities to keep guests entertained. We enjoyed renting the electric cart to tour the 250-acre well-maintained trails. For those seeking relaxation, this place is the perfect place! They have a sparking pool, games and other activities listed on the website and in office to keep everyone entertained. Family and pet friendly. There's a small menu you can order from their bistro as well as a general store with snacks and other items. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring a delightful experience. They offer three ways to stay: RV, Cabin, & Nature pod. We stayed in two of their cabins. It has a queen size bed with two twin beds located upstairs in the loft. Full size refrigerator, stove/oven, stackable washer/dryer, Keurig, shower, toaster, all utensils cups etc. outside is a fire pit and picnic table. Three ac units and fan to keep the cabins cool. Fast Wi-Fi, smart tv, and all things needed for a comfortable stay. Before we left, we toured the nature pods, and they were gorgeous! So, we booked a stay in one for next month! They have exotic animals on their preserve that can be seen throughout the stay. I highly suggest renting one of their electric carts to explore. Overall, Sky Texas Hill Country Resort is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind and soak in nature's beauty. Arrival day is the first issue when we went to putting our luggage away, panties were found in the under bed storage. Next day after visiting the pool, tried using the dryer to dry our towels and more panties discovered inside the dryer. Now really start to nice strings of dust throughout which is concerning at the least. Panties under the bed were picked up by the staff but after the second discovery, just gave up and knew housekeeping was a problem. Texted pictures to management staff as instructed by the front desk worker and it's been almost 2 weeks and still no word from the manager. Place suppose to be pet friendly as well but my dogs and other campers next door had plenty issues of burrs getting stuck to our dogs paws which in turn made them want to go back inside. I wouldn't bring my dogs back because of the burr ground issues.
