This has been the absolute worst service from a towing service that i've ever received. It started…read morewith my wife's car breaking down in Ferndale, Mi on Woodward Ave on Saturday Oct 29th. I immediately went to the location and called AAA for a tow. I was told that it would be about 45min. That was at 2:15pm. The estimated time came and went while we had lunch at a local spot. After missing the original estimate I had to call AAA back 5 times for updates on the tow trucks arrival. Each time I was put on hold by the representative (or manager for the last two calls) while they contacted the tow company and was told each time that they spoke to the dispatcher (a woman who's name I don't recall) for A&M and was told that the driver had to respond to a police emergency and would be another 45min to and hour. At one point around 4pm we were told by the customer solutions member at AAA that the dispatcher said that they were dropping off another car in Ferndale as we speak. The driver was actually unhooking the vehicle at its destination at that very moment and should be there within 20min. That ETA also came and went. After calling AAA yet again, speaking to a representative, requesting to speak to yet another manager then After waiting on hold for 20min to speak to the dispatch supervisor for AAA..... FINALLY THE TRUCK ARRIVES! 5:45pm. Now, even after waiting an absolutely amazing 3 1/2 hours for a tow truck the thing that upset me most about the wait wasn't actually waiting, it was the fact that not once during this entire time did anyone contact me to tell me that there was a delay. I had to contact AAA myself each and every time so that they could contact A&M so they could relay one imaginary ETA after another. I only live 10min away! I could have waited at home for 3 1/2 hours instead of sitting in some random parking lot the entire time. 3 1/2 HOURS WAITING!

He showed me around they have an environment friendly water based paint shop and were able to match my beautiful silver perfectly. We brought my husband's car here to get the paint touched up. I have been a customer of Campbell's…read moresince 2006 or so, when my 1999 Honda needed work after an accident, and they are great. I recently took my own car to Gerber's Collision, in Farmington Hills, and they were rather expensive, so for my husband's car, we drove the 25 minutes or so here instead. His car mirror also needed some work and Campbell's was able to give him a quote for that, too, so he had that done also. He was surprised by how fair the quotes were for both that and the paint work. I was able to get the initial quote via email from Campbell's, and they were easily reachable via phone or email, too. The work on his car took about a week and he's very happy with it. Something to note, their parking lot is under construction right now and is mostly just gravel - not a big deal but the entrance to the lot was moved slightly, I believe. Overall, highly recommend this company for your car needs.

I own a Classic last year Cadillac Eldorado that needed a replacement hood painted. I was told the…read morepainter had 30 years in paint. When I got a call that my car was ready, to my surprise, the repainted hood was loaded with dirt that had been painted over. Instead of removing the front grill, it was covered over leaving a heavy break line. Worse than the incompetent painter, no one including the paint Manager found this to be a problem. I rejected it of course and informed them, that I expected better, to take their time and get it right. Weeks later I once again got a call to pickup my car. This time there were craters and dirt . Angrily I pointed this out to the person there, pointing out the issues. He said he would inform the paint manager Dan. A one Star because the painter did manage to get the paint on the hood. Finally I was abled to get my car out of that hell hole. The paint wasn't perfect, but it would only get worse with repeated repairs. Avoid this place if you care about your vehicle. Can you imagine a Paint Shop that would paint over a sanded Hood and not blow and tack off, as well as an alcohol rag wipe before painting and then get by the Body shop manager .
