I am very picky about wonton soup and this was by far the best ever!!!

We always order the teriyaki chicken with rice, you get enough for two people in one order! Always delicious! The combo fried rice is to die for!! Plenty for left overs the next day.Thank you for being our go to restaurant for years!!

DELICIOUS and HUGE portion sizes. the amount of chicken they give you for just 15-16$ is crazy. I understand why people like this place so much. also the customer service is top tier. I watched them greet, chat with, remember regular's orders, check in and ask if you need anything and thank each person for their visit. super kind, service is better than some formal dining that I've been to. they really pay attention and give their care. would definitely come back next time I'm here. even grabbed more to-go so I could have this for more meals LOL. highly recommend

We have loved this location long ago before new ownership came in. After the new ownership came in, the taste that i remembered had disappeared. Occasionally, my fiance and I will come down here when we are in the area. We always go for a chicken katsu and a chicken teriyaki. They taste subpar. Katsu isnt as crispy and the teriyaki sauce isnt as sweet. Overall, after the recent price bump, it isnt worth to come here. It is almost $30 for the two dishes versus the usual almost $20. With the quality going down and the price going up, Bucks Teriyaki just hasnt been the same.

Came back around this time to teriyaki chicken was dry as dust on a chewed up bone, you can tell they put it in the back and wait for you to order it and that's why you get your order so quick all they're doing is warming it up when it's been sitting under lights for hours. No Bueno.

Ordered through uber eats. They got it ready really fast! It is a very good portion the bottom all rice and too meat. Salad dressing was good. The only thing I didn't like was it was way too overwhelmed with the teriyaki sauce too much and beef strips were too big.

Came here during lunch hour and they were pretty quick to fill my order! I ordered the spicy chicken and chicken katsu combo which was about $20. You might think that's a steep price but for the amount of food you get, it's pretty good! It lasted time for three meals which I'd say is worth the dollar amount. Flavors were overall good but I usually like my teriyaki to have more of a charred flavor to it. It seems like their chicken wasn't cooked on a grill but instead pan cooked. Their spicy sauce was good and I thought the katsu sauce was sweet and sour enough too. Their salad dressing was very much on the sweet side and less creamy. I think there are other teriyaki places that might be better in comparison but overall the flavors and amount of food was worth the trip!

Great teriyaki tonight, even in the midst of a COVID-19 epidemic this place still delivers great food that's still warm when you bring it home via takeout. Some newer faces were present but that did not seem to impact the food we received, which was a breathe of fresh air to get food to-go that's made with passion as well as quality-my full tummy is the result of that. My Mom has the shrimp teriyaki (first time) and said it was very good, I may add. Very happy customer as well as family, keep up the great work Buck's!

T1. Chicken Teriyaki Meal Huge portion.

I had the pleasure of eating at Bucks today. WOW service was amazing. Food was so good. I will be returning for some sushi and try a few more items on the menus.!! Great food for your money.

When did the owners change? It has been a long time since we've been here last.

It's been a while now. I think about a year ago, also the lady in front selling is very rude! And they charge for sauce while it used to be free. New management has made this old joint gross and expensive.

Off of central in Kent closer to s 277th street. There was only one young person in the place with us. Two guys working the place. The owner who catered to us, and the cook. Not sure why I never heard of this place. Owner said they have been open for 3 years now. The food came out fast. We actually ordered too much we had it for three more meals at home. I think overall the food was good. Like I was telling the owner I normally drive to Canada to get Chinese food, or San Fran for dim sum. I'm pretty hard to please. But since I like to support local, I'll bring my friends here another time for lunch. The decor was minimal but nice. From the outside it looked like it was closed, and like it was a home or doctors office. It's right next to a bikini barista. So we missed it the first time. It's a brick building. The tea was really good. The perfect amount of Chinese leaves, and it was nice and hot for a cold blistery day even if it's almost spring.

The honey walnut shrimp was also the 2nd favorite and the black pepper beef short ribs was the third. I look forward to having dinner here with my family in the future, and also having another bday party in their banquet room.

Service was fast and efficient, we grabbed some items from the cart and ordered some as well. Tea for my husband and myself, water for everyone (plenty of refills). Kids enjoyed it- green beans, radish cake, soup dumplings, pork buns, shrimp noodle, shrimp and chive dumpling, spare ribs. I thought the quality was good and it was so nice to have a quick weekend lunch since the kids were hungry. The service was very attentive and the dim sum was good! Unfortunately, I didn't notice the rancid smell until it was too late and she had already eaten two of them. She got extremely sick... And the filthy condition of this restaurant absolutely blows my mind that people still come here. It's disgusting. And I gotten reports from my neighbors that they've also gotten food poisoning from this place. I will admit that it's hard to resist all day dim sum at decent pricing, so I can see why people still come here for the food prices alone but if you value your health and your stomach, I do not recommend coming here.

But for those in the know, Triumph Valley is really known for their dim sum menu! Off the beaten path, you have to take State Highway 167, as its just south of the large IKEA store. But definitely a culinary landmark if you are a constant diner of Chinese cuisine, and dim sum afficianado. There are only three dim sum, or dumpling lunch providers in or around the City of Renton (technically two). This is one of them, and if you are not early, it can get really crowded, especially on weekends. But the staff bravely soldiers-on with their dilligent service. The restaurant's ambiance takes advantage of its interior with strategic lighting in their dining hall. Very utilitarian, while trying to ensure a little bit of style. They also modernize the experience with electronic waiting and ordering system on portable touch screens. It actually helps the service. No paper. As for me, my focus is on the dim sum. All of my favorites are there. And, as diner of one, it was hard not to want to order everything. So, I ordered the "basics" of a dim sum lunch. One order of Shiu Mai, one order of Har Gow, and one order steamed BBQ Pork. It was pretty much all you need along with an order of tea, as well as a Diet Coke to wash it all down. There were other traditional dim sum selections, but I knew my tummy (and wallet) wouldn't absorb it all - as much as I would have liked. Steamed beancurd sheets, beef meatballs, steamed sticky rice in banana leaves... chicken feet, it was all there. The best way is to make a plan, and invite lots of freinds to make sure you can try EVERYTHING! Yes, there are other menu items, like I said, but for Dim Sum dining in Renton, this is the place!!!! See you at Triumph Valley.

If you're ethnic Chinese/Asian looking for true Taiwanese food that'll give you a ratatouille moment, this isn't it. We went on a weekend late night dinner and the place was decently full. We were the only Asians there and the rest of the patrons were Westerners. That should tell you everything you need to know. Ambiance and service was 5/5. Very clean, hip restaurant in a safe part of Seattle. Perfect for a date. More than half of the wait staff was Chinese as were all the kitchen staff from what we could tell, so if you spoke mainly Chinese, you'd be fine and they would be familiar with Taiwanese food. Portion sizes are smaller and pricing matches, respectfully, so you can try different things. I'd say as an adult, you could order a couple plates and you'd be more than full. Food was 3.5-4. Sorry, I can't confidently rate it any higher than a 4. We had to try the beef noodle soup 3.5/5. Broth was good. Vegetables were romaine lettuce which wasn't authentic, but fine. Beef was definitely on the leaner side and definitely tougher (maybe because it was so lean), so maybe this was to cater to western tastes? Noodles were ok... too similar to ramen for our tastes... and that was a comment several of us made, independently. Onion pancake was 3.5/5. Meh, nothing too exciting. Beef sandwich was a dud. 2.5/5. Skip. It was like they took an onion pancake and used it for the roll/skin... pretty oily. Vegetables were just chopped lettuce. No cucumbers or cilantro from my memory, but it's been a few days so maybe I'm not remembering correctly. We also had different xao-long baos (they only had one pork left), cold peanut butter/cucumber noodles, dumplings, spicy cold cucumbers... and they were all 3.5-4ish. Nothing crazy. In the end, again, if you're looking to just get a broad taste of Taiwanese food, this is it. If you're looking to get a genuine taste of Taiwan, this isn't it.
