Ever since we moved into the area - the last 3-4 years this has been our go to spot for teriyaki restaurant and we normally order for pick up and they've been consistent in their quality. We always get the chicken katsu and the beef short ribs and for the price it's pretty good and the portion is great. We typically ask for double on the mac salad as their rice is usually in the drier side and the mac salad is great! As one of a handful of teriyaki joints in the area (heck there is another one across the street), this place is basically right next to Safeway, where I needed to go anyway for some groceries. As I come in, I noticed the place is warm and welcoming with enough tables for several groups of people. There is a nice Asian lady at the counter waiting for me to give her my order. So I ordered the Chicken n Beef Teriyaki Combo($15.99). Comes with rice, salad and macaroni salad. Everything was delicious. The chicken was not dry, the beef was tender, and both salads were really good. The only thing that might be a negative is that the teriyaki sauce is a bit on the saltier side. They have other choices on the menu like Mongolian Beef or Sweet n Sour Chicken if teriyaki isn't your thing. I lean more towards teriyaki because there are probably more Chinese places than teriyaki ones. Store hours are monday through saturday 10:30 am to 9:30 pm. Closed sundays. The katsu was burnt and the ribs were tough and had no flavor. We usually come here for the Mac salad but it was watery and so gross. Honestly was not really impressed with a few different things and maybe that's my fault for hoping wok dishes would taste decent from a teriyaki place. Mongolian Beef - 2/5 I wouldn't order again. I like my Mongolian been a little more charred and thinner slices. I do love green and white onions so bring it on but this dish had thick slices of beef that was more soft/mushy than crisp. Portion wise it was great and came with a lot of food. House fried rice - 3/5 I usually just order chicken fried rice because I'm always picky with shrimp from places but I guess it wouldn't have mattered because with our HOUSE fried rice we got 3 pieces of shrimp... that was a little bothersome. The other thing I did not like was how large the slices of meat was, basically an entire strip of teriyaki chicken and beef for slices. Didn't take the time to cut it into smaller cubes. Portion wise was also great but we paid extra for house fried rice and got 3 pieces of shrimp so not really worth it. Bottom line is maybe I missed the punch by not ordering teriyaki chicken but I don't think I'll be ordering from here again anytime soon. read more

It took us 4.5 years of living in Renton to finally try this place. Talk about bang for your buck! The spicy chicken teriyaki is sufficiently spicy! I say that because I don't like anything super spicy where I can't feel my mouth anymore. It has the heat and flavor. The general tso is also mildly spicy but has so much more flavor than just the heat. Also, the batter is not too thick. I do hate it when there's more batter than meat. I got the spicy chicken teriyaki delivered: The chicken was cooked perfectly but the spicy sauce has changed into something a little more runny and less spicy. Has a nice crunch and my boyfriend really liked it. I like that they give you a little macaroni salad on the side. Well, this is a place I avoided for years and now I know it was for good reason. I've said before Teriyaki really isn't my thing, but I ended up here after the Thai place was closed despite the website saying they were open. The Mongolian Beef looked good, sliced tin, wok seated with crisp onions and rice noodles. Unfortunately, that's not what I got, What I got was super sweet teriyaki beef with an extra cup of sauce. First, I don't like sweet and meat, probably my foundation for not liking teriyaki. Second, if you are going to have pictures of you entrée's prepare the food like the picture. I didn't get through half of it before I had to throw it out. I felt cheated and taken advantage of. It also didn't help that it took 20 minutes to et my meal despite no one else being there and only 1 person getting takeout. It's possible the teriyaki here is good, but the Chinese food is not. Everybody in this strip mall is coming up short and if one place got there act together, they could steal all that business. That food legit made me sick! The chicken teriyaki is not tender and the portion shrank. The gyoza had a nice crispy outside but for $62 (not including $8 tip) for 2 people for TAKE OUT, not a restaurant, no thank you. I got the Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu plate & a Chicken Yakisoba. I called in to make my order and they took my order without asking my name & giving me a wait time - so don't be too alarmed if it happens to you (not necessarily a con it just confused me). Wait time for food was 15 minutes. Chicken Teriyaki + Chicken Katsu Plate: 3/5, the portion of the plate was very good! There was tons of rice and it looked balanced. The overall plate didn't blow me away though. The salad was just lettuce with dressing at the bottom so I couldn't taste it really because it wasn't tossed. The mac salad wasn't good -- it was macaroni covered in a sweet mac sauce. There wasn't anything else in the mac salad so it lacked texture and tasted cheap. The chicken teriyaki was slightly overdone -- kind of bland, kind of dry, the char gave it a slight burnt taste on some of the pieces. The best part of the dish was the chicken katsu -- the chicken was a little better and the katsu sauce was tasty. I had enough katsu sauce to dip each katsu piece. I'd recommend the katsu over their teriyaki. Chicken Yakisoba: 4/5, this was pretty good! When I opened the takeout lid at home ten minutes later it was still sizzling. They used yakisoba noodles and not lo mein which was nice. The noodles had the yakisoba taste and were nice and chewy. There was a portion of rice in there which was kind of random. I don't think the dish needed this but it was also nice having something else (there wasn't really any synergy between the rice and the yakisoba, but the rice offered another texture. I still would've preferred more noodles). The veggies in the yakisoba dish were cooked well but the chicken was a tad dry. I was satisfied with this dish! Total: $27.48 read more

This restaurant has the fastest service I have ever encountered. I probably have eaten here 60 times over the past two years and quit calling ahead because they are just so fast. So first off, I ordered pick up. I called first, and the guy on the phone was a bit rough sounding but towards the end he got it together. When I went in to pick my food up he had great costumer service. My food wasn't ready yet but that wasn't even my main issue. The smell, when you first walk in, literally SLAPS you in the face. It smells so bad. Like hot piss in the streets or something idk. It was very odd putting tho and I'm not a picky person at all. Onto the food. When I got home we ate right away. The food tasted so good. Like it was a very good rendition of Mongolian beef. Hot and fresh. The portion sizes are really nice you could almost share one plate with someone. My boyfriend loved his beef broccoli too. The food is definitely 5 star quality. I wish I didn't have to take off so many points for the smell, but after smelling it, it makes me not want to eat there at all. We have eaten here for the last couple years and it never disappoints. The portion sizes are worth the money, the food is always delicious and make the best left overs. Looks like they re did their interior and it's really cute. Last time I was in I brought my two young children for a carry out order and the lady working was especially friendly to my 4 year old and let him have multiple fortune cookies. Decent teriyaki for the price (after tax 12+)! The spicy teriyaki was pretty good and actually had some kick to it. Lots of meat and sauce to drench your rice. Typical sides of Mac and salad, but nothing too outstanding. Rice was on the drier side but overall good teriyaki for how close it is to me. read more

Finally found a a place that has fried rice the way I like it. It's all about comfort food for me and beef fried rice is high on my list. So, can't speak to how this place looks as it was carry out and I didn't go pick it up. Maybe on the next review. I was told to find food and I wanted Asian. Looking around i found 4.5 stars on this place and prices that seemed better then everything else around. What came back home was impressive. Large portions on everything we ordered for starters. My fried rice could have fed 3 people or one half starved teenager. We also had spicy chicken, pork teriyaki, along with a couple egg rolls. For taste, while teriyaki is in general alright to me this was good and the other partaker with me liked it a lot. The spicy chicken and fried rice was where it's at for me. Both were by far the best I've found in Seattle. The chicken was really flavorful. Hard to describe but I feel they put more effort into the sauce than other places along with it being perfectly cooked. The rice was also nicely done. Now Ive recently learned that crunchy fried rice is a thing which I guess is okay but not for me. Not what I grew up on I guess. But this wasn't that. This also wasn't mostly white rice with a little color which I've also seen out here. This rice is golden and soft and a nice balance of veg and meat. Y'all think I'm crazy for reading how much I like fried rice but hey don't judge. I know you like something I'd find just as weird. I'll definitely be getting seconds from this place. Soooooo I was expecting more out of TTT because of all their great reviews BUT they're alright. I ordered chicken teriyaki and beef short rib combo and chicken and Katsu combo (which I didn't get the katsu and didn't realize till I got home ). Their short ribs were really really good. The beef was cooked perfectly! Their chicken could be better. A little less dry and some more flavor please. I was kind of bummed out that they forgot my chicken katsu but oh well.
