L5 - Lunch Special with teri chicken and egg roll
    Bill G.

Casual eatery. Pricing was on the more reasonable side for this area. The cashier/server was really nice. We ordered B1 - Teriyaki Bento Box with teriyaki beef and the L5 - Lunch special - chicken teriyaki & egg roll. The beef was tender and the chicken was seasoned well. The California roll in the bento box was solid. Of note though: I don't think they used "traditional" tempura batter and the egg roll was on the mildly lacking side. The tempura was still tasty but the outer coating was not as flaky as some of the other more "traditional" places.

Stopped in for lunch with my Dad yesterday. The place has parking in a lot out front so it's very accessible. The interior was very clean and spacious. Their menu is large with lots of options. We both had teriyaki which was excellent. Portions were a great size and the chicken was perfectly cooked and not dry. I will for sure be back next time I'm in town.

These little design touches make it feel much nicer than any other teriyaki place

This restaurant blows all the other teriyaki restaurants out of the water It actually feels more like a traditional restaurant than a quick serve teriyaki place. Putting all the nice details into the ambience and having it feel simple and classy makes a huge difference The food is really good and they have a nice selection of teriyaki and Chinese and bento boxes and just so many different things The service was outstanding. My husband ordered and once he completed the transaction, I realized that I would like a Sprite so I ordered one and then the woman asked me if I would like egg drop soup with it or miso soup so of course I was confused because why would I get a free soup with a beverage. No business does that. But evidently they do and the soup was delicious She was genuinely friendly. She came over while we were eating and had a huge basket of fortune cookies and asked us if we would like one. I honestly felt confused the majority of the time because this entire model did not fit the traditional teriyaki restaurant model. But the prices were the same as everywhere else and the food was just as good, if not better Every table was completely clean and I mean cleaner than most restaurant tables. The floor was super super clean. The walls with their simplicity and without all the tacky food pictures made it feel low stress in there They are going to be in business for a long long time because they're taking it to the next level Go in and be sure to support them. You'll love the experience and the food and the service

As soon as I walked in I felt comfortable, due to the cozy decor and welcoming staff. They had a large selection in their menu, which made my job of deciding more difficult. My order was taken quickly and I was on my way within about 10 minutes. I got one of the teriyaki combos and with Katsu. The Teriyaki was moist and tender, yet had a slightly charred texture outside. The katsu was crisp and tender inside. Overall a delicious experience. It's definitely someplace I wouldn't hesitate visiting again.

The teriyaki place in Auburn that I have been going every week since March 2020 is under new management and has made some changes, so I'm on a quest to visit all of the teriyaki places in Auburn/Kent/Renton to find my new go to. My usual order is chicken breast with egg roll, which is what I ordered here. Can't say I am a fan of their teriyaki sauce, as I felt it needed to be a little sweeter. The rest was pretty good overall, and a good portion for a lunch special. Everything tasted fresh. The service is top notch and the restaurant is very clean and well-maintained.

Best place to eat from! Awesome teriyaki. If you want to become addicted eat here. Trust fam.

It is hard to pick a teriyaki place when there are so many around with 3-4 star ratings so I decided to go with the one that had the most reviews on Google. Wild Ginger met my expectations. General Tso chicken--Meat was tender and had a good sauce Chicken Katsu--Meat was a bit dry but it was crispy Salad--Crunchy, packed separately White rice--Fresh, not too dry or soggy Online website interface is really basic and doesn't provide a time estimate of when it is ready. I would give them 20-25 mins as that was how long my order took on a Saturday night. I will be back to try other things!

    Chicken & Katsu Teriyaki Combo

Came here after Top Golf knowing it was one of Yelp Washington's top restaurants. I will immediately say that the service is above and beyond which makes Wild Ginger memorable. On our way out, we even had the door held open for us which was completely unnecessary but demonstrated exceptional service and friendliness. Beyond that, prices are fair with portions and there's a parking lot. Location is also decent. We snagged four teriyaki plates and a bento box. All items might come with soup, not sure but we all got offered egg flower soup or miso soup which was a warm welcome. We were also offered fortune cookies after our meal which was a nice gesture. Chicken & Katsu Teriyaki Combo - it doesn't look like much but the protein definitely helps fill you up. Good teriyaki sauce and great katsu sauce. Fairly viscous. While I thought the teriyaki was pretty standard, the katsu was very tender and nearly melted in my mouth. Katsu and Assorted Tempura Bento Box - with the bento boxes, you pick two entrees (or "sides," depending on what you consider them as) which come with a 8 piece California roll, bed of rice, and salad. A bit of everything for those indecisive. Pretty filling despite the picture.

    Mongolian Beef
    Ryan F.

Visited recently for the first time craving some mongolian beef. My siblings gave Wild Ginger high accolades and that was enough for a visit. There are a ton of items on the menu and will definitely be back to give some more of them a go. We were getting items to go so I can't speak completely to their service, but the person at the counter was friendly and food was out pretty quickly. Mongolian beef was tasty, more of the stewed variety than I was looking for but I'd get it again.

She has been going on and on about this "Fire Breather" burger for a bit. First things first, exceptionally clean and friendly place. Seated quickly and very attentive to us and the rest of the patrons there. Broad selection of food and adult beverages. Breakfast till 1:00 pm on Sat/Sun so it was hard for me to decide what I wanted as I had my mind set on the "Pub Club" but noticed that they had Chicken Fried Steak, oh the choices.... Not disappointed on the "Pub Club" it was Yumi! It was full of all the things that make a "Club Sandwich", the kicker was it had "pepper bacon" on it! My sandwich was piled with meat cheese, tomato, and lettuce. Now this is where it gets interesting, I added some of the aforementioned "Fire Breather Sauce" to it, just a bit. It is freakin Habanero Pepper Mayo(ish) sauce, WOW or should I say YEOW! Not just hot but exploding with flavor. As stated, my lunch partner had the "Fire Breather" burger w/ added Pepper Bacon and Avocado. It was more than a mouth full of dripping yum. Meat done perfectly, nice fresh avocado, thick pieces of pepper bacon done to perfection. After seeing and eating the pepper bacon I decided to take home a BLTA with cheddar cheese. The onion rings were some of the best I have had in a while. Beer was cold and wet! Overall, a great meal and you will too. The words of the day today are "Pepper Bacon"

Our server recommended the corned beef hash. It had bits of corned beef. I tried the Fiesta Scramble. Nice thick sourdough toast. The scramble was tasty. It came with jo-jo type potatoes (which are not a fav). Hubs got chicken fried steak. He's a bit of a connoisseur and said it was decent. This was a nice low key spot for weekend breakfast. It is 21+ only.

I was traveling in a group of 6 to Renton, WA, and we stopped by Blossom Vegetarian as our first…read morestop in the Evergreen State. One member of the group is vegetarian, hence a reason why we ended up going to a vegetarian restaurant for our first meal during our trip. Blossom Vegetarian is located on the southwest corner of 3rd and Burnett. We came in three cars, and the lot immediately in front of the restaurant can only hold about a dozen cars. The adjacent lot has more spots, but all three of us were able to find spots easily when we arrived. That's likely because we had arrived a few minutes prior to opening, so the door was locked when I tried to open it. Right at 11 AM, an employee came out with a signicade to place in front of the front door. Shortly afterwards, we entered and sat at a table for 8, which I found kind of odd because they had tables of 4 and 8, but not 6. Our table had a sign advertising a limited time special, which was Hanoi Beef Fried Rice at the time*. However, we were interested in the lunch specials, which were available weekdays from 11 AM to 2 PM. Knowing that our schedule wouldn't have allowed for a lunch special any other time during our trip, we went for lunch specials, which mainly consists of rice combos. Rice combos at Blossom Cafe come with rice, either jasmine or brown, the latter of which would incur a $1 upcharge. The combo also includes an option for a juice or coffee, and if you choose either, you get $1 off. With plenty of rice combos to choose from, two of them chose the same lunch combo while the rest of us went with different lunch combos, but shared family-style with one another. I chose the Blossom Rice Combo, which consists of shredded "pork", tofu pie, "beef" skewer, and vegetables alongside a lime vinaigrette dressing. I'm not too certain of the other combos, but I do know that the Cashew Chicken was another combo, and that's because one of my groupmates heard it was their most popular dish. Since I prefer brown rice over white (jasmine) rice, I opted for the $1 upcharge for the brown rice. Between the coffee and the juice, I went with a coffee since I was needing some after a long morning of traveling. They have four choices of Vietnamese Coffee: Cheese Cafe, Cafe Latte, Dalgona Cafe, and Cafe Sua. I went with the Cafe Latte, which consists of both condensed and whole milk. The coffee drinks can come either hot or iced. For whatever reason, everybody else ordered the iced drinks, but I went with hot knowing I'd have to brave the pretty chilly weather outside. It took about 13 minutes for the kitchen to prepare our orders, and then we feasted! The coffee was ready about a minute before the main dishes arrived. Everything tasted good, but I wouldn't say great, though that's probably because I'm not vegetarian. However, rest assured that all their meats aren't real meat, and this is indicated by the use of quotation marks encompassing the meat names. You can definitely tell these meats are truly vegetarian, though it took a few bites for me to discern the vegetarianism of the "beef" skewer. The brown rice tasted kind of odd. I don't quite know how to describe it, but it was way different than the brown rice I'm used to e.g. Flame Broiler. The rice tasted pretty meh by itself, but exhibited a much more elevated flavor profile after adding the lime vinaigrette, which I'm thinking was actually a fish sauce. But that Cafe Latte was smoooooooooooth. Just what I needed after not getting enough z's the previous evening. Since I ordered mine hot, my coffee came in a mug while the others who ordered iced coffee got theirs in a wine glass. These coffees supplemented the glasses of water we were given when we placed our orders. Service, unfortunately, was quite slow, so exercise patience! We were the first customers to eat there, and there were a few others who came in after we did. We stayed there for over an hour even though I think we could have gotten in and out in much less time. They didn't really check on us even though there were very few other customers inside as well; I guess we were supposed to proactively go up to the counter to let them know when we were ready to order as well as pay. 2026 calendars were available for purchase at a cost of $20, cash only. I don't know how many people would constitute a "large" party, but we were considered one, which resulted in an 18% gratuity fee that was already added to our individual bills. One of our groupmates, who was fluent in Vietnamese, needed to let the server know prior to paying. So overall, Blossom Vegetarian is a decent spot for vegetarians; I just wouldn't recommend for a quick lunch break since service is nowhere near as quick. * My visit was back in November. I waited until January to post this review as I took a brief hiatus from posting reviews upon traveling to the Pacific Northwest.
