When it comes to price, I do not recommend the GOAT plumbing. On 11/2024 they came out and fixed a leaking pipe in my front yard, I was billed $257 for a 30 min water line repair. Yesterday they came out and she charged me $500 for a 30 min water line repair , same type of repair, just on the other side of the pipe and easier to access than last time. I did question the price, she educated me on higher cost of materials and gas prices. Again they took care of my repair the same day and both plumbers were knowledgeable, I just need to do my homework and find a local plumber who is a bit more reasonable to keep in my phonebook.

Thusly last night I came to find him laying upon our kitchen floor attempting (unsuccessfully) to keep the water heater pilot light lit. He told me he had attempted his evening wash-up but quickly realized the hot water was, well....not so hot. By the time I'd awaken today, he had already reached Jose at 5 Star Plumbing and Drains via yelp "request for services" Jose came to our home to access the problem. After hearing the totality of our dealings with the finicky water heater he suggested a few possible solutions. We decided to fully replace the unit. This consultation happened at 2pm. By 6pm we had a fully new unit, clean, dry, working. So obviously I haven't seen my husband for a "hot" minute as he's "testing" the shower water but we both expect to see Jose on Tuesday to install the water softener we had been wanting. All joking aside Jose was timely, knowledgeable, cost efficient, fast, respectful and self sufficient. He was easy to understand and communicated very well (we non plumbers could easily grasp his point). In these days of COVID he also was extremely careful about not touching anything in our homes and wore several different pairs of gloves. I can't wait for softened water..Florida water has robbed me of my "Calgon"moments. I'll update my review from my (hopefully) very bubbly, bubble bath Wednesday after our water softener install.
