The knowledge and expertise of the technicians has always impressed me. They work with care and precision and the steps they take are always thorough. Most recently I bought a 28-year old vehicle down South that is structurally in fine condition but had suffered from decades of minimal maintenance. Over this past year an engine issue has been fully resolved and safety-dependent suspension items were diagnosed, discussed fully with me in advance, and professionally repaired. I believe that "you get what you pay for" - there are shops with lower labor rates and fewer equipment to aid the techs. The quality of the work is worth every dollar. One morning, I arrived in Augusta and realized that my car was in need of emergency repairs. The staff at Al's went out of their way to squeeze me in so that I wouldn't be stuck in Augusta overnight. They charged me a fair price and took extra time to explain everything they were doing, even showing me photos. They also drove me to my office while they did the work on my car and picked me up at the end of the day when they were finished. And getting to meet Radar (the adorable Corgi/watchdog) was just the cherry on top of the whole experience. I'm so grateful for the excellent service!

I didnt have a choice dealing with these money grabbing predators but my advice is if you do have a choice don't and if you have been towed there or have had a friends car towed there check the law about what they can and can't charge if they don't follow the proper procedures. Those laws are in place to protect people from predatory businesses like JD towing.
