I had to go to this Buckys Mobile when my usual gas station was having credit card machine issues. I was able to pull in, fill up, and leave quickly and without any problems. Worst place to get gas. Have a baby and nothing works tried Apple Pay. 3 different cards and still nothing went inside to have them process my payment before gas and the attendant was rude as soon as I said why does nothing work. I have a baby and I'm trying to get gas. He then said what pump literally showing him my car and is saying you don't even know what car you left your baby. I was like you know what no forget it. Great prices on gas; some of the lowest in the area over the past several months. However, don't waste your time or money on the car wash. $7 for the cheapest one- which isn't inexpensive for a gas station wash to begin with- and it does a horrible job. Got a wash and drove literally across the street to Target and the car was still dirty. I should have gone back to get my money back but didn't have time after how long it took to get through the line of four cars at about 5-7 minutes each. Either the soap sucks, the sprayers aren't strong enough, or both... but I'm posting this as a reminder to myself and anyone else that the washes here aren't worth diddly poo. You could get the same effect by convincing a group of ten year olds to fire squirt guns at your car, and they'd happily do it for free. read more

Gas station with one of the best prices around. Them and the shell gas station has the same prices but this Mobile is much more cleaner and a lot of merchandise inside the shop. One drawback is that is their car wash, it's the worst I have seen in a long time. It doesn't clean anything, also the dryer is terrible, it doesn't dry anything. Been getting fuel now at this station for over 2 years. Never had to go inside till my pump had an error code yesterday. Worst customer service!! During rush hour i walked in and nobody was ready to help. The old lady behind the counter asked if anyone was free but none of her co workers did nothing. A fat Hispanic guys who worked there was just staring out the window at god knows what!! Waited a bit more till he finally saw me. Guy never said good morning or anything! He finally set me up at my pump. I went back and it still had an error message!!! Went back, they told me to switch pumps so i did and still DID NOT WORK!! WTF!!! This station often has some of the better prices in the area - especially south of Lake-Cook Road. They seem to compete price-wise with the Shell station a couple of blocks west at Lake-Cook & McHenry Roads. Their store is well kept and the employees tend to be pretty good here. One issue I have is that their car wash is often down for repairs. read more

I frequent this gas station a lot. And I've never had a problem using my Just 4 U rewards number. Today I put it in, and it told me I had 20 cents of up to 20 gallons of gas. I put my card in the pump and started pumping gas. It only took off 5 cents. It was some sort of instant gold rewards offered through Shell. I don't have and never have signed up for Shell's rewards program. When I went in to talk to the clerk, she said she was unable to do anything about it since I paid at the pump. Which isn't her fault. It comes down to her not having the authority at store level to fix the issues. Either way, I will be avoiding Shell gas stations for awhile. read more

I was a very frequent consumer of several bucky mobile stations, until yesterday (1/16/15) night. I will say this particular shop renew to have some of the lower prices in the area. I opted to get an express car wash with my fuel. First off $7 for an express wash is ridiculous and I have never heard of that before. The locations I usually visit were less. 2nd, there is nothing express about a 6min+ car wash. Lastly, what the hell kind of car wash doesn't use soap??! Pre soak, power washer, clear coat, spot free, dry. Btw, dryer sucks horribly. I parked, ran my finger along the vehicle and it was filthy. I went in and very calmly asked if it is supposed to use soap. I was told defensively that he had nothing to do with the carwash, but then he did say they are supposed to use soap and there is nothing I can do about it tonight. If I want I can come by the next day during certain hours when the manager is on site. Seeing as I won't be able to cone in anyone soon, im assuming I'm s.o.l. So well see if anyone makes this right Til then I will be avoiding all buckys read more

This convenience store is anything but convenient. I keep 2 propane tanks in the house so that I always have a spare, so it can be up to 2.months or more before I get to the second tank. After replacing every part of the grill due to a leak and moving the tank to a new grill, it was deduced that the tank was leaking. I proceeded to bring the FULL tank back to the station to exchange and was told by two gentleman behind the counter that I needed a receipt to exchange. While I.understand the need for a receipt on an.EMPTY tank, forcing your client to produce documentation on a FULL tank is ridiculous. First of all, I have been coming to this gas station to replace my propane for years...No more, nor will any of my.acquaintances. stand behind your products when there is no way someone is trying to pull a fast one on you or get some competent employees that know the importance of customer service read more

This is by far the worst gas station EVER. It is DISGUSTING. The staff is a group of teen angst and rude teens or younger adults. They are so rude to customers. There is one girl with dark hair and darker complexion and she is by far the worst. Any discrepancy, or wrong transaction for the bucky's employees who may not understand bigger words, brought up to them, they dispute and fight and give you attitude. Every machine is always broken, or dirty and they admit it hasn't been cleaned so eat the soft serve ice cream at your own risk. REALLY??!!!? Does the owner know that you talk to customers like that and leave filthy machines with day old soft serve stuck to the machine. I know because I stop here on my way home from work everyday. It's the last gas station on lake cook for a while. It is just absolutely disgusting. The bathrooms are disgusting. No one there lifts a finger to clean or do anything. They really should knock this whole building down, clean house and hire all new employees - send them to the DMV where their miserable asses belong. read more

This station only gets 3 stars because it has decent prices most of the time. HOWEVER, they have the SLOWEST pumps on the PLANET! One of the days I was there to fill up, it took a MINIMUM of FIFTEEN MINUTES for the gas to fill up the tank! I was not the only one experiencing this issue. The lady next to me was also there for long enough that we struck up a conversation and started comparing our cars (make, model, etc.), and of course complained to each other about how long it was taking us to fill up. I stopped this morning to use the restroom facilities. Neither of the restrooms had toilet paper. A man found a clerk to fill up one of the empty stalls and I had to do the same when the other was vacant. The restroom floor was dirty and this was early in the morning on my way to work. When washing my hands noticed that the soap dispenser was almost empty and the paper towel roll was sitting on the top of what appeared to be another garbage can. I will never stop there to use the restroom again! They are not interested in customer service. read more

This place is terrible! It took me more than a half an hour to fill my gas tank. I don't know what their problem is with their pumps. I have been going there for many years and this is the second time I've had this issue and all they can tell me is that they know the problem. Doesn't seem like they want to fix it. Stopped to fill up on 8/3/17 and the pump said it could not accept my debit card and to go inside to pay. Since it was pouring down rain and had an appointment I decided to fill up later. To much of my surprise I had a charge of $20.20 on my card the next day, with no gas purchased! I called the Manager and said he would look into it. After 2 days of no response I went there and was told there was nothing they could do and it looks like I just paid for another customers gas. That's all.. There is a girl who works in the 1515 Lake Cook location that is always, always, always, always absolutely miserable. I love the coffee so I return to the location. However, the second I walk in, I see the look in the girl's face and she looks like the last person she wants to see is me. I avoid going to her register to pay each time. However, sometimes her register is open and she even calls me over with anger. The look on her face when she is waiting on me is complete disgust. Why does she continue to work there? Honestly. I have been going here for years but will never go here again. I'm sure the owner could care less, but it will give me satisfaction that I am not giving him or her my money. Go there yesterday, pull up to the pump and it is working as I see the screen. Open up the gas tank, get out of my car and the pump is dark. Okay, go to another one, it is dark too. They are all dark. Finally see an employee placing cones at the entrances. Ask him what is going on, he says we are closing. Seriously, it was 7:30 pm. I understand that maintenance or whatever needs to be done, but you allowed me to pull up to the pump, and then shut it off. Did not come out and say anything, just shut it off. Could you at least let the people who were already at the pump, get gas and then shut it down? Or, if you cannot do that, at least come out and let us know what is going on. You allowed us to pull up to the pump, at least allow us to get gas. Absolutely a terrible way to do business and I will never go back there again. Went down the road and bought gas for cheaper, so it worked out better for me anyway. Still a terrible way to treat customers. read more
