Outdoor seating is really nice! Can't go wrong with Alligator Bites & pizza! The wines go down nicely on a hot day.

This was our first stop in Gettysburg, Joey was great! The best stop so far. Can't wait to enjoy the wine selection we picked. Thanks Joey!

Diane, the lovely owner is so gracious and sweet and was able to handle the flow of oenophiles quite effortlessly. They have the main tasting room and also an adjacent room that could accommodate a group tasting. Diane did a great job of giving us a detailed description of each wine and I was actually pleasantly surprised! I'm not a huge fan of Md wine but truly enjoyed the wines here. I purchased a bottle of the Estate Red and they had a wonderful sangria made with their Chambourcin which I also purchased. I love supporting local and especially such a great vineyard such as this one that is also a working farm. I would encourage anyone to venture out to this vineyard--but actually put the address in your gps and not just the name, you will end up at someone's home. I assume this family are use to people ending up at their home-they have a sign that has the address of the vineyard on it--thank you mystery family!

What a cute tasting room and attached barn with a burning fireplace. It's a little out of the way but worth the visit. Don't follow Waze unless you type in the address and not the name of the winery. We'll be back.

I have never felt so welcome anywhere as I did at the Farnsworth House. My family stayed two nights, in two rooms, ate breakfast in the morning in the dining room, we ate dinner both nights at the Tavern and did the Haunted Cellar Tour with Patricia. We loved Patricia so much, we booked her for a paranormal investigation the following night. We will be back!

The ground at the Farnsworth Inn where the restaurant is is covered in wood chips; meaning the feet do NOT lay level on the ground. If you lean back you can fall back and if you land wrong crack your skull on one of the rocks if you are on the perimeter which I was. That was bad; worse was the brain dead girl who saw my blood on my hand and knee ( my knee was bad) and instead of saying "let me tell me manager and are you OK?" She says DUMBLY, "Sorry". this did no good at all obviously. I would not eat there until they level the ground the chairs are on outside and hire intelligent helpful people. "Sorry" was NOT what I wanted to hear. Care for me and the future people who gently lean back in their chairs to relax and then crash into a bed of bricks and rocks is the correct approach. Really really bad place
