The owner, though, still recognized us when we walked in the door (even after a year or so). She is so kind and knowledgeable. The spirits are always tasty, and they often have new ones to sample. The Dragon's Den is very fun. Yummy food, though I do wish there were one or two more vegetarian options. We got the nachos on this occasion, and they were really good. The drinks are the main attraction, and the menu is quite extensive. You really can't go wrong! There's plenty of seating (but it can get quite full). Our favorite part is that there are various board games to grab and play. Axe throwing is available, too. Highly, highly recommend!

They have a Game of Thrones/Dungeons and Dragon kind of theme going on, with cocktails named after the different houses and a page where you can roll for your drink. I went with a flight to try out some of their whiskeys, but they also make gin and vodka. The flight was ok, I find when you make all the things nothing really stands out, but the Everyday whiskey was a nice smooth sip which I very much enjoyed. For dinner I had the smoked brisket which was tasty, but the sides (garlic mashed potatoes, carrots and asparagus) were fire. Service was great, they weren't very busy so it was easy to get a table and get served. Overall I would definitely come back to roll for a random cocktail and enjoy more flights of their other offerings!

This is my all time, absolute favorite bar in Frederick. I almost wanted to refrain from saying…read morethat to avoid it getting too packed but this place definitely deserves the attention. I always make sure to stop by whenever I'm in Frederick. The ambiance is like a dim light basement, a clean and moody aesthetic with bar seating and couch seating. It does get loud in there and I think that's because the sound of everyone's voice just bounces against too many hard surfaces. Nonetheless it's super cozy and my favorite spot!! The drinks are all fantastic. They make their own organic distilled liquor and on top of that they away have seasonal drink selections. I go there wanting the same drink but also try something new and it never disappoints! They craft their cocktails with love and care and really put effort into a delicious well rounded cocktail. This is my go to spot for gin, I'm not even a gin drinker but I am now because their gin is amazingly smooth. I can't say enough great things!

It's a relaxed, welcoming spot and a perfect place to hang out for a bit. The staff was amazing, super friendly, and really knowledgeable about everything they offer. The tasting was great and gave a good feel for their lineup. I really liked that they use locally sourced ingredients across a variety of their spirits. You can tell there's a lot of care put into what they're producing. Definitely recommend stopping in. Afterward, head over to their bar next door and try a cocktail made with their spirits. It's absolutely worth it.

However, it looked amazing. We will try next time. We tried all 14 flavors of booze, and mostly all were very amazing!! Highly recommend the sour cherry, pineapple, and coffee. To sample everything is $14 if you don't want to do all it's one free and a dollar after that. They have many yummy cocktails to pick from along with beer. They serve homemade meringue puffs to have while tasting, and they taste amazing!! I finished with a coffee cocktail for $8. Next time you're in hanover, don't sleep on this place.

The location was pretty much hidden, I wouldn't go if it was dark. There really isn't a visible sign to direct you. The hooches that I tried were really good. I tend to go towards sweeter drinks and it hit the mark. The gumbo wasn't gumbo there wasn't any holy trinity or anything vegetable like anything. I also got the feelin cockey too cocktail. The gumbo was like beef baby food in gravy with over cooked rice. The menu said it was supposed to have alligator, chicken and andouille I couldn't really tell. I usually would've sent it back but I didn't want to hurt the cooks feeling. She seemed very proud of what she prepared. It was as if it was warmed and scooped. I don't know if I would go back for the food but the hooch and cocktails were amazing. They also have old school table games which were cool to bypass time.
