Making appointments takes a phone call and has been painless. I've dropped my car off whenever I've gotten an oil change, but I believe they also allow you to stay while they do it if you'd rather do it that way. Liz at the front desk is always friendly and calls once everything is done and the car is ready for pickup. My car's brakes started squeaking soon after I got it, so I asked them to look at them one of the first times I took my car to their shop. Apparently no one heard anything when they tried it themselves, so that was an issue that didn't get solved for almost a year until they said I needed new rotors, which finally stopped the squeaking. I was a little frustrated by that situation, but not enough to make me stop going back to them. I don't know much about cars, so I can't really speak to the cost of everything or the work they do. Besides the brake issue, I've never had any problems with them, and plan on continuing to take my car here in the future.

During that time he was without transportation. They finally contacted him to say it was repaired but it started doing the same thing it did before he left it with them. He took it back and they still took 2 weeks. I rode by many times & it was on the lot parked. He was overcharged based on other shops estimates and he had to pay more each time he picked it up. I've heard them advertised on WRBS and believed they were trustworthy. Very disappointed.

I paid for the job and left for my soon to be finished new home in Delaware. Instead of a pleasant two hour trip to rural Delaware my van was towed almost fifty miles back to Sparrows Point with a non-functioning transmission. Once home I had the van up on my friend's lift to inspect why it had burped most of its fluid on the ground. Imagine my surprise learning the Four Sons technician had used a sealant instead of replacing the transmission's pan gasket when he did the transmission service ! There's absolutely no excuse for this kind of work...ever. Needless to say the only time I'll be returning to Four Sons Automotive is when hell freezes over.
