Decent cars for a used car lot…read more Got a 2000 Ford Taurus with 111,xxx Miles in January, paid $500/down & $75/week. I will own the car in less than 60 days. I have had to put very minimal money into actual repairs other than replacing a flat tire, having to get a plug & fix a flat for another tire, it's had a few minor other things that required repairs too but with as many miles as I have put on this car it has honestly been an amazing purchase in this regards for sure!! The car is also in very good shape for as old as it is. It has one small rust spot by the back drivers tire but other than that it is on great shape. Even the seats & carpets inside. You can tell it was a one owner car, probably someone older, that took very good care of it!! Don has always been very nice, he is very understanding, as long as you stay in contact with him he will work with you if you are struggling. Definitely my favorite of any used car lot/dealer that I have gotten a vehicle from!!

Disclaimer: I did not buy a vehicle from Don's. I test drove a vehicle yesterday and recognized…read morethat there was a couple issues including a rear a/c that wasnt working and an engine light but no other symptoms. I asked if he had the thing checked out or knew if there was anything mechanically wrong. They said not that they knew of. Im not afraid of a few fixes and it is a nice looking car so I said I would like to take it to my mechanic to get it looked at. I picked it up today and did that and when I brought it back let him know that the ac issue was an easy fix poor connection but that the engine light was giving readings that were concerning and gave him the printout of the diagnostic. It was then that I began to suspect that maybe the reason that he "didnt know" if there was anything wrong with the vehicle was probably not a lack of information issue because he ripped the printout that I gave him in half and said that he didnt think it was priced too high. This review is not reflective of the ladies working in the office, the vehicle or the pricing but of Don himself who seems to be shady and rude at best. Maybe find somewhere else to buy a car. I will be.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!…read more This place is an absolute joke. Completely unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful. If you value your time, money, or even basic decency--STAY AWAY. My sister made a reservation one full month in advance. Everything was confirmed. But when she showed up to pick up the vehicle she reserved, they gave her some ridiculous excuse that the previous renter took the keys, so the car was no longer available. What kind of business model is that? No backup plan. No accountability. Just "sorry, nothing we can do." They claimed they had no similar vehicles and instead offered her something significantly larger--a gas guzzler she didn't want and didn't budget for. My sister, who is not confrontational, accepted it hesitantly because she was confused and caught off guard. She wasn't even shown the vehicle ahead of time--only realized what she was driving when she stepped outside! As her older sister, I went inside to speak with the agent. While waiting in line, I noticed this same employee assign a vehicle to another customer--a vehicle that could've been given to my sister. I was on the phone with our oldest sister, calmly explaining the situation, when the agent suddenly decided to "help" me by skipping everyone in line. She immediately got hostile without even letting me speak. I wasn't loud, rude, or aggressive--but her tone was nasty and combative from the second she opened her mouth. She then had the nerve to say she didn't have to talk to me because I wasn't the renter. Excuse me? I was simply advocating for my sister, who was being taken advantage of. Then she stormed to the back, clearly trying to escalate the situation rather than solve it. I assumed she was calling the police--it turned out to be the owner, who shockingly condoned her unprofessional behavior. My sister then came in herself to try and resolve things peacefully, but the agent continued to make excuses and push blame elsewhere. She acted like she was doing us a favor by offering the wrong vehicle and had zero interest in finding a solution. When we asked if she could confirm with the airport location before we wasted time going there, she replied, "They don't answer the phone." What?! She tried to spin the situation as an "upgrade" when in reality, it was a financial burden and a complete failure to honor a reservation. To top it off, when we were still trying to figure out if we should drive to the airport or request a refund, she suddenly declared they would no longer serve us. Then she snatched the paperwork and keys out of my sister's hand. When I asked her to give us back the contract (our only proof of the rental), she didn't even have the decency to hand it back like a professional--she shoved it into my hands. Absolutely disgusting behavior. The agent was beyond rude, and the owner was no better. I wouldn't trust these people with a tricycle, let alone a rental vehicle. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the disappointment--go anywhere else. This is BAD BUSINESS, and they should be ashamed of how they treat customers.
