I called 5 plumbing companies from 6:30 am to 8:30 am. Three of them couldn't come out until the next day. Two could come out the same day; Budget Climate Control came out in the morning; first. The other company was to come out in the afternoon that same day. I ended up calling everyone back and letting them know I found someone to do the work. First Leonard Rue, came out. He was professional, friendly, and helpful. He gave what I felt was a fair estimate, then let me know they could get the entire job done that same day. YES....people do need to take off work when major plumbing (or any construction needs to take place), so the customer loses money from not being at work while spending money to get things fixed. Having this work done, and completed, on the same day, helped me to save money00 from not being at work, and also money from water leaking into the ground (Water Main Break). So often, one gets an estimate, then the actual bill is almost always a little higher. The bill 'WAS' the same as the estimate. For a few minutes I was worried this job wasn't going to be completed in one day, but once Shawn was able to locate all the parts needed for the job, things moved very quickly. At the end of the day, Shawn was speaking to my wife, and gave credit for it being done so quickly to me (since I tried to save Budget some time and me some money, by doing some digging in advance, and having things ready to be working on once Shawn got here. So...the estimate was done quickly, free, professionally, and accurately, in the morning (at first they wanted $69 or $89 for an estimate, then said a Technician could come out for free). Kevin was on time and gave a ten min show up call, I was treated with respect and given the answers to my questions. I went with a new Furnace and added a Refrigeration unit, and given a Very good deal. Day of pressure test, again given a ten min show up call, this is something most of Albuquerque NM forgets about, customer service is key to me. The crew that day was Kevin and Juilo. They took the measurements and again offered any answers to my questions. Day of Install, was given another ten min call. Kevin, Joe, Richard, and Brian, showed up Kevin showed the crew what he expected and excused himself, informing me that Juilo may show up later to help along. As the crew got going I offered my hospitality to them, they were clean, courteous and professional. I asked questions and checked stuff out as to know more of what was going on and what I should expect if this or that. I was also allowed to and was offered, if I wanted to see something or wanted to know something the time to view to do just that. The crew did not have a problem with me "looking" over there shoulder and was given full access to their work at anytime. I knew right then, the work was done right. I went with Budget Climate Control, because I was willing to give someone my hard earned money to do a job, and was expecting a Clean Courteous Professional Crew and Company, they Exceeded my Expectations. When I needed an HVAC replacement, they were the only company that knew what I was talking about, as we have a Hydro-System, and the only company that was able to find a replacement in 2018. Since then I have used them for my annual checks on my Hot Water Heater and the HVAC System. A short while ago we noted that out Water Heater and HVAC were not performing as they should be. Our master bathroom shower took an unexplained and sudden turn. Over the course of three days, it went from draining normally to a complete back up. I called Budget Climate Control on Saturday morning and got us scheduled for a few hours later. Shawn called and asked if he could come by a little early, which was much appreciated since we wanted to get on with our weekend. Once Shawn arrived, it was time to diagnose the problem. I was expecting him to find a bunch of hair clogging up the shower and he did at first, but that did not solve the problem. Shawn continued to patiently work away and lo and behold, he was able to remove the culprit. Apparently, when we were remodeling, a piece of metal got lodged in the drain pipe. If it weren't for Shawn's patience, the metal piece could have been pushed even further down the pipe and caused real damage to our plumbing system. My furnace went out in mid December. Just blowing cold air. I live in the Jemez Mountains and depend on it. I left messages at 3 companies. Budget Climate Control called back first thing in the morning and the staff was professional, yet friendly, from start to finish. The scheduler (I forget her name) worked hard to get someone out right away. The technician, Bill, actually arrived 15 minutes earlier than the ETA I was given. He introduced himself, then got to work right away. Fortunately for me it turned out to be a minor repair. Bill explained the problem, the fix, and the inspection process he went through to ensure safe and continued operation. He was the type of tech you hope for when you need a repair. The folks at Budget were able to schedule my work on my evaporative cooler for the same day I called them- and they accommodated my request to send an experienced service tech to do the work without any problems at all, since I was concerned that my thermostat, which I had changed in the winter, was causing the problems. They sent Damian, a very clearly experienced tech that clearly knew his business well. When he arrived we had a quick conversation about the problem, I showed him the equipment and he was off working. He fixed the problem and additionally changed a belt I had not mentioned but knew was falling apart... no oversell at all. Excellent service. Freddy figured out not only that the compressor was dead in my outdoor AC unit but also pointed out that two of the starting capacitors were also close to failing. He explained everything very well and I felt comfortable with replacing the unit. Then he also figured out that the compressor is under a 10 year manufacturer's warranty (Carrier). What a pleasant surprise and several thousand dollars saved. I was extremely happy to hear that. Next day Charles came and installed new compressor, capacitors and some other parts. 3 hours later we had cold air again. My central air conditioner stopped producing cold air. Bill came out today diagnosed and repaired it quickly. Somehow the common wire from the capacitor to the conductor was burnt and broken. He replaced the wire and checked all operations. It is working perfectly. He was very pleasant and professional. I had a window of 12-2 PM and he called me telling me he would arrive in one hour. I never have trouble setting an appointment with BCC. I live in North RR and Steve arrived on time and finished the job quickly. He let me know that I need a "tune up" on my heater before it is turned on next year. I really appreciated this information because it will give me time to save for the tune up. Have used Budget 3 times now. On time and competed every job as pro's. We had a new Lennox air and heater installed 10/2017 and they completed the job in one day. Had to remove swamp cooler and cap off. Hauled off all material and cleaned up before they left. Just had a garbage disposal install and again in and out on time. read more
