They quoted me a lesser price for the 15 yard and then after it was dropped off and my contractor filled it part way before I got there, I called and they said this was a 15 yard dumpster according to the code on it. But I sent them I picture showing the stamped 10 yard on it! I was closing on my house the next day. After several calls back and forth, I was told they didn't have any 15yard dumpsters available! When I initially spoke to the representative over the phone to set up my request for a dumpster, he never told me that there could be an additional cost. I made sure I followed directions and didnt fill the dumpster above the fill line. 2 weeks after paying the quoted price, I received a charge on my credit card for an ADDITIONAL $164.05. He specifically told us that if we needed the dumpster longer, it wouldn't be a problem and there would be no additional charge. Now, two months later (today is 08/07/2025), we received an email claiming the dumpster was overweight 2 tons. That's just not possible. It was only about 3/4 full, filled with miscellaneous yard waste and garage trash--no dirt, concrete, or anything heavy. Despite this, they went ahead and charged our account. There seems to be a pattern of hidden fees and surprise charges with this company. Do yourself a favor and go directly through a reputable, larger dumpster service. This company is just a middleman--they deliver dumpsters labeled with other companies' names and operate without accountability. Waiting two months to notify us of an overweight charge is completely unacceptable and feels like a tactic to avoid dispute. The dumpster never showed and I could not reach them until Monday. They told me then it could not get there until Tuesday 10/4/25. And only offered me $100. Beware of this company! We were given a bigger size dumpster than requested. It had rained and there was carpeting in that dumpster and standing water that did not drain. Over 4 weeks later, we received another bill stating that it was overweight and charged again almost the same price as what we had paid initially. After the salesman convincing explanation of confidence that we would most likely not exceed the weight limit on the proposed rental, we were charged an extra 166.00 a full month after our service! Be sure you check your emails. I had issues with this company due to their policy of the dumpster pick up. Information about their policy was sent via email several days after delivery. It would have been helpful to see it on the first day of the rental. I have NEVER had to call for a company to pick up their dumpster when I have agreed to the time I needed. I was given a 10 day rental and assumed that it would be picked up in 10 days. It wasn't. It was scheduled to be picked up 1 day after I left on vacation. When I returned it was still on my driveway. I called the company and was told that they didn't have a record. I had to find my notes I made when I was looking for a company. When I found the name and number I called and inquired about why the dumpster was still in my drive. I was again told that they didn't have a record of them servicing me. We've been renting roll-offs for over 30 years for my husband's business and have NEVER been ripped off to this degree. Initial charge of $475 was reasonable but NOT the additional $508.30 for a SUPPOSED overage of appx 6 tons. 20 yard dumpster was only 2/3 full with light home demo materials. Unless you're throwing away 20 yards of styrofoam packing peanuts your rental will end up costing you over double the price they quote you and they have your CC info so they charge your card and you have absolutely no recourse. I definitely wish I had read the reviews before we paid for the dumpster. As our salesperson assured us a 20-yard dumpster would be fine and we should not go over the weight. The design of the dumpster is not the greatest for drywall, kitchen cabinets and doors as you lose a nice amount of space around the edges. I asked him for price for 30-yard and after we received the dumpster, I thought how he could say we would not need 30-yard without asking how many rooms, only asked what we wanted to put in the dumpster. Needless to say, we definitely needed the 30-yard dumpster and when calling back a few hours after the dumpster was delivered, we were told we would have to pay the same price we paid for them to pick up and bring a second dumpster. I am hoping the salesperson was at least correct with the weight as I would hate to be charged more money as some of the folks stated in their reviews after all of this. Their eight window for deliver is ridiculous. I will be sure to read reviews going forward. Also, in 2021 I had a price of $350 for a 20-yard dumpster from Alex with a $75 permit fee in Chicago, but Sam's quote was over a $100 more than that and said permit fee would be $205, however I did not have to pay permit fee since dumpster would be on driveway.
