The toilet doesn't flush very good and when I tried to get a refund and told them I wanted my money back they told me they offer no refunds and basically told me I was screwed. Also I booked this room on booking.com and it said it was pet friendly and I already paid the pet fees which was an additional 20 dollars a night. They tried charging my debit card again and told me that they never charged me for the pet fee even though I know for a fact they did. When entering our room it smelled of weed. The smell went away after we turned the AC down so we never thought anymore of it until we get ready for bed. When laying down we find the smoke detector had a plastic shower cap taped over it. So apparently someone had smoked in there. Two, Monday night the room nextdoor had the TV blaring at 3:00am. My husband went downstairs to ask them to call and to smoke a cigarette since we were up to find the desk empty. The rooms are still clean and the property taken care of but it's the little things now that just made my stay extremely average. The property nextdoor is consistently $40 a night less. Next time we may try them.

There appeared to be syrup or some kind of sticky substance all over the desktop and dresser area. Even the telephone used to call the front desk had sticky residue all over it. The next day, while I was at the funeral, staff attempted to come into the room, but I had my "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, so they could not enter. Later that evening, I went to get ice because my soda was warm. When I opened the ice bucket in the room, it was filled with trash. That was the final confirmation that this room had clearly not been properly cleaned or inspected before my arrival. As an Honors member, this is completely unacceptable. Before a guest checks in, the room should be fully cleaned and everything should be in working order. If obvious things like sticky surfaces, trash in the ice bucket, and a non-working TV were overlooked, it really makes you question what else may have been neglected, including the bathroom and shower cleanliness. I spoke to the front desk about how upset I was, and while they apologized, manager Evelyn Orlando denied a comped room for the following night despite all of the issues experienced during my stay. Overall, this property failed badly in cleanliness, room preparation, and customer service during a very difficult time in my life.

When we went to leave for our event we could not unlock the deadbolt and the door would not close. After playing around with it, I discovered by pulling down on the inside handle (which retracted the deadbolt), then pulling down on the outside handle, the bolt would remain retracted after I let go of the inside handle. As I wanted to keep our possessions secure while away, I declined the offer of having maintenance look at it while we were gone. The springs in my mattress were sprung and extra soft on one side of the bed, which caused me to continue to roll to that side as I attempted to sleep. The bed frame also had a cross beam that stuck out about an inch or so beyond the mattress (covered by the bed ruffle). I barked my shin on it twice when attempting to sit on the bed. My friend had the other bed, which he said was uncomfortably hard. We could not switch beds as I needed access to the one outlet in the corner for my breathing equipment. I will not stay here, again.

There was no power outlet near the room's desk, so we had to move the desk in order to use a laptop. While they advertise that they have Wi-Fi, it did not work. They claimed the problem was with ME, my phone, and computer, which was VERY offensive. It took me multiple trips to the lobby over a couple hours for them to *finally* reboot the router and get it working... sort of. It was effectively useless, because while I could get the phone to find their EXTREMELY SLOW network, I kept getting bumped off. The laptop's connection was even more tenuous. Every webpage took several minutes to load and it was too slow to do any streaming of audio or video at all. The attempt usually knocked it offline. So, while they DO offer free Wi-Fi, until and unless they get it corrected (which is unlikely) it is effectively unusable for little more than things like email or texts on a cell phone. Connecting to sites like YouTube or TikTok is not possible. I booked two nights, but left after staying only one night and demanded a refund of the unused night. Unfortunately, this $80 room experience was not worth $20. I do not recommend anyone stay at this establishment for any reason.
