There is very little that is good to say about this place. For one thing, it's on one side of the road, and you constantly have to loop around to get to it. (That's New Jersey for ya, though.) There are dangerous stairs down into the rooms that the staff does not warn you about; my friend twisted her knee by falling into the dark room the first time we entered. The room was plenty BIG, but it was kind of scary. I counted a total of 13 cigarette burns (we had asked for a non-smoking room, the desk lady "couldn't remember" if ours was or not), there were no hangers in the closet, the bathroom was moldy and gross (not to mention the dead spiders on the floor), the water in the shower took a while to heat up, the captions on the TV barely worked, etc. etc. I think our "neighbors" must have had mental disorders...we heard random yelling in the middle of the night. There were definitely folks staying who had been here a while. Of course you have to pay up front, presumably so you don't run out on the bill, but that keeps you from leaving to find a better place. The Days Inn up the road looked much more inviting...and I never thought I'd say that about a Days Inn! It gets the extra star for the free, fast, and easy wi-fi.

This is what my head looks like after being infested by bedbugs in this piss hole hotel.

Do not come here. Checked in and out the place was disgusting and cannot obtain a refund for a room that wasn't even stayed in.

Heroin needles all over the ground used condoms and heroin wax paper baggies all over the place. I've seen at least 6 people since I've been here the past 2 days park in the parking lot with a needle in their arm and just discard the used needle in the parking lot.. so I check into my room and my ice bucket has mold and some slime substance in the bucket my sink has a huge gaping hole next to the drain so when I wash my hands water soaks the floor. The toilet doesn't flush very good and when I tried to get a refund and told them I wanted my money back they told me they offer no refunds and basically told me I was screwed. Also I booked this room on booking.com and it said it was pet friendly and I already paid the pet fees which was an additional 20 dollars a night. They tried charging my debit card again and told me that they never charged me for the pet fee even though I know for a fact they did. Just disgusting and I wouldn't send my biggest enemy to stay here. it's that BAD!! Do not send your loved ones anywhere near this place

I called earlier in the day as we are in the middle of a 13 hour drive and found we were ahead of schedule. The women at the front desk told us 2:30 should be fine. Check in is 3. When we got there, no rooms were ready. A half hour before check in and NO rooms are ready? Okay, no problem. This is the 4th hotel on this strip my husband and I have stayed at. It was absolutely the worst. The hotel itself is okay, some spots are new some spots are outdated or broken. The location is apparetly the street bike and motor cycle race way. So please do not stay here if you need sleep of any kind. The staff are some of the most ignorant I have EVER encountered. Walking around in slides and playing on their phones. Almost every one has an ear bud in. What happened to doing your job while you are working? Giggling and gossiping as a line of patrons waited to be taken care of. I attempted to use the lobby bathroom after one of the female employees only to find they didn't flush the toilet nor attempt to pick uo the paper towels all over the floor--did it for them. All of this sucks because honestly, the room was half way decent and moderately updated. The hotel door locks stick and don't always go back in so if you're traveling solo you can't always close the door from the outside. However, you can hear EVERY door close, every step on the floor above you, there is no quiet. If you're here for a long term visit, turn around because your food is not surviving. Unless you like setting an alarm to wake up every 2 hours to turn your fridge back on. The TV shuts itself off randomly. They have taken 'energy efficiency' to an even cheaper penny pinching level. The air conditioner starts out strong and slowly fades to nothing. It was 93 degrees here at 12am, which is when I am checking out and writing this review becaus I was done. TLDR: R U N. DO NOT BOOK.

The first concern was the ripped and unclean mattress on the sofa bed, which had no sheets or bedding of any kind, nor was there any in the room. But the most disturbing and dangerous part of our stay, was being in the beds, dozing off, only to hear someone trying to enter our room! Thank goodness I always put the security bar on the door of any hotel room I stay in. So I go down to ask the guy at the front desk, Ethan, if he had made a key for someone to come to enter my room? He said yes, because the man had your last name! Not my whole entire name, but just my last name! Then he went on to admit that the man had the wrong room number at first, but then made a call and gave the correct room number! I was trembling in shock disbelief, and I asked if he didn't recognize the red flag of this person having the wrong room number, but more over, how do you make a key for a stranger to enter a guest's room, without so much as calling the room, or my cell number that was in the system!! He just sat there looking confused! I stated to him, that I know he couldn't have been trained to do that, and nowhere in the entire world, that I stayed, have I ever experienced or heard of anyone doing something that reckless and dangerous! Suppose I was having a domestic situation and was hiding from an abuser?? This front desk associate representing Marriott Hotels, gave someone an open opportunity to harm me and my loved one! Not only would I run from the notion of EVER staying at this hotel, but since Marriott as a whole, did the bare minimum in rectifying this situation, I feel safe in warning others to STAY AWAY from Marriott Hotels in general!!! The only comforting part of my experience was Mildred, who was at the front desk the next morning. She was more remorseful than anyone I had encountered during this nightmare....GOD BLESS HER!

Despite trying to move rooms the night before and my options were as follows, 1. Cram 4 adults into 1 queen bed in a smoking room. 2. Move to the only other double with no AC, (they could let me borrow a fan) Instead we stayed in a room we couldn't shower in a COMPLETELY CLOGGED TUB! After being told to come back and consult the manager the next morning.. Mr. Kevin got confrontational and yelled at me. Next told my husband at check out to "do whatever we wanted".

It is highly deceptive of them to include it in their advertising, then point to a sign when you get there saying that the pool is "down for scheduled maintenance." It is a lie. It has not worked for over half a decade or more, and they have no intention of making it work. The furniture in the lobby is sparse, stained, and uncomfortable. The lobby itself has no air conditioning, adding to the discomfort. It makes one wonder if it's heated in the winter. It wouldn't surprise me if it is not. The room was musty and smelly, and the TV remote appeared to have been crushed and put back together with tape. There was no power outlet near the room's desk, so we had to move the desk in order to use a laptop. While they advertise that they have Wi-Fi, it did not work. They claimed the problem was with ME, my phone, and computer, which was VERY offensive. It took me multiple trips to the lobby over a couple hours for them to *finally* reboot the router and get it working... sort of. It was effectively useless, because while I could get the phone to find their EXTREMELY SLOW network, I kept getting bumped off. The laptop's connection was even more tenuous. Every webpage took several minutes to load and it was too slow to do any streaming of audio or video at all. The attempt usually knocked it offline. So, while they DO offer free Wi-Fi, until and unless they get it corrected (which is unlikely) it is effectively unusable for little more than things like email or texts on a cell phone. Connecting to sites like YouTube or TikTok is not possible. I booked two nights, but left after staying only one night and demanded a refund of the unused night. Unfortunately, this $80 room experience was not worth $20. I do not recommend anyone stay at this establishment for any reason.

The check in clerk was not friendly at all, the place is run down and the rooms were atrocious. Let me expand upon the rooms. Every outlet was broken or damaged, the beds are hard as rocks, it appears that the sheets haven't been cleaned properly, the baseboard is coming loose, dust covered all of the electronics and fridge, the mirrors are about to fall down, the door to the room is difficult to close and has a large gap at the bottom to allow all types of creatures in..I could go on elevator, parking lot, etc), but at some point you just have to stop and say: "For the love of all that is holy, do not stay here!" This is definitely a 'you get what you pay for' kind of place. I have been turned off of Motel 6 forever. P.S. - the door is difficult to open as well, which may cause a health hazard should the place catch on fire an you try to escape.
