On day of rental, they did not have the car type I reserved and blew me off. I believe they didn't want to honor the price I received. The manager was rude and told me to call customer service. Once I called there, they moved my reservation to another location but it was $300. more. That person said in order to honor my original price, they'd have to transfer me to management. That person said I would have to pay the increased price first and they would reimburse me later. Are you kidding me, do you think after this experience I would trust them to give me a reimbursement?? Don't use Avis or Budget, owned by Avis! I had problems with Avis at the Tampa, Fl airport. They don't handle the reservations correctly (you really don't have a reservation when you think you do) and their customer service is rude and unprofessional. They don't treat customers well. Don't give them your business!! I suggest Enterprise! Great experience with them!

I ended…read moreup choosing to stay at the SpringHill Suites, by Marriott (Herndon, Virginia) primarily because this hotel was close to the airport (IAD), and it also has this Enterprise Rent-A-Car business colocated within the premises. After making my reservation with the hotel, I then made a reservation with this Enterprise as well. I had a super-smooth experience here. This Enterprise Rent-A-Car station is located on the first floor just a few steps around the corner from the hotel lobby. Upon approaching the Enterprise window, a young man greeted me. His name was Devin, and I found him to be professional and friendly. I was especially happy because he took the time to walk out, show me the car, inspect the car for possible pre-existing damage, and show me where the after-hours key drop-off location was. He also gave me a better car than what I was expecting to get. I drove this car all over the Washington D.C. area, and then I returned it back to this Enterprise, returning after Enterprise closed for the night. After ensuring that I removed all my items from the car, I then put the car keys in the drop box just as Devin advised. I had no issues whatsoever. Thanks to the folks at Enterprise, especially to Devin, for providing excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend choosing to rent a car at this location to others.

They kept saying that it was returned but if it was I would not be constantly calling about it and trying to speak to an actually manager. BEYOND DISAPPOINTED....... My insurance had not sent over the direct bill information when I walked in without a reservation to get a rental car, so they worked with me to make that happen and were very patient while I worked on that. They also made sure to explain everything up front to me so I could make an informed decision as to my rental and the terms of my insurance. At some point during my rental period, a young man called me from Enterprise to explain to me how many days I had left before my rental allowance would run out which, to me, was very impressive. I have never had someone care that much that I not have to pay extra out of my own pocket if I didn't need to. They ensured I had all the details I needed in case I had to return my car after they closed one evening, but before I picked up my car from the Nova Collision Center that is located in their building - which is a seamless process I might add. All in all, a wonderful experience. I wish I had known this place was here the last time I needed a car and collision repair services.
