    Great staff... easy to rent…read more I have booked 5 seater SUV for weekend 5/18. One good thing enterprise do is pick up and drop off their customers. Otherwise, it is hassle how to pick up the car. Staff picked me up 845 in the morning. They ll call you after reaching. I came to pick up my car and Nicole Vaz attended me. I declined the insurance, she did emphasize but never forced me to take their insurance. I got ford explorer, though I have booked 5 seater SUV but they gave me this 7 seater and said this is a standard size. I did not mind, little did I know I 'll be hit by car's mileage. I drove and come back from Niagara Falls and it was app 800 miles and I spent $95 over gas. When I was returning the car, I mentioned this to Nicole Vaz and she discounted $10 in my total bill. Not sure this was enough, but she listened and took some action, that was good for me. She also matched fuel and gave some voucher for next booking. Few things- 1- They should keep transponder (EZ pass) in their car. I had to choose a different route for Niagara due to this. Currently, they don't provide EZ Pass. 2- I left my keys at the time of pick up and called them to keep it safe. I got my keys while returning ( these are small things but eventually these becomes a big problem when staff do not pay attention) 3- They don't provide paper receipt now. They are paperless they send you rental agreement and receipt through email. Great thing 4- Their Pick Up and Drop off facility. It's great. I would recommend this and I am again going to use their service on Wednesday.

Up until recently, my experience with AVIS has been mostly positive; however, their infrastructure seems to be showing its age now. In the app, I have reported multiple times that while it shows your available rewards balance the screen that would normally have a toggle for you to select how many points you'd like to redeem has not functioned properly for MONTHS. They've done multiple updates to the app and every time I leave the feedback, both in-app and on the App Store that this functionality is broken and they have yet to remedy this. Secondly, their website and app are a train wreck. There was one day when the app was showing no available vehicles at all. And eventually I decided to try it from the web browser and then it showed inventory but how many people did you walk that day because the app was showing no available vehicles so they went to a competitor? Additionally, trying to do simple tasks like using their online tool to request a receipt it loads and loads then times out. I call to get a copy of the receipt and they say it's sent and I explain I have yet to get anything and their response is their systems are slow and you should get it eventually. This is after the first agent I spoke to told me I dialed the wrong number (even though this was the number on that part of the website, 18003527900) and the number she gave me was for Budget who promptly told me I had the wrong number and call that previously mentioned AVIS number for support with this. This highlights an issue with mergers and starts to feel like your "support" system is setup to run customers around versus actually resolve issues. I recently filled out an incident report for a rental and have yet to get any documentation from AVIS - not even a receipt for the rental showing it was closed out. When you call support they tell you a third party handles these (Sedgwick) and they give you a number and when you call them you get the runaround from them as well. That would be my feedback for AVIS - evaluate all these processes and simplify them and remove friction and runaround.

I know, because more than 50 percent of the time you ask the significant other who doesnt know anything about the reservations, hoping they cancel it, so then you end up having to pay triple the amount later when you realize you dont have the insurance you originally paid for. I'm seeing a lawsuit brewing. Zero stars.

Booked a pickup on Friday for 7:30am Monday, it's 8:10 and I've been here since 7:25, still waiting for the car to be "released for rental" after it needed an oil change first. First off, when we first walked in everyone was eating breakfast on the front counter, even the gentleman who helped us. It was a little rude, I don't really appreciate being spoken to while someone is chewing. There wasn't much explanation of the paper work as compared to other car rental places we have worked with. As for the car, where to start... It was absolutely filthy, the outside and the inside. The steering wheel and shift knob were sticky and it didn't look like it had been cleaned or vacuumed in quite a while. The tires were just about bald and the brakes were screeching every time we stepped on the brakes, they were on their way out. The only plus about the car we got was the satellite radio. Overall, our experience was not great. The car and the service was lacking, except for the guy who we gave the car to upon returning, he was super helpful. I don't think we will be using Hertz again.

Tried to cancel a reservations...thery wanted to charge ne $50 US to cancel. Tried to extend my reservations by one day only to discover that that would cost me $80 US!!! The entire 3 day rental was only $110 US. So $80 US for one additional day...REALLY!!!!!!!!!! To top it all off no one speaks english very well. I can't stand US companies that move their customer service to a third world country to keep from paying a half way decent wage here in america. BUDGET I HAVE RENTED MY LAST CARE FROM YOU!!! He couldn't spell my 5 letter name correctly despite my spelling it for him (DUH) so my reservation confirmation EM (with my name in it) never arrived. I CALLED BACK A 2ND TIME & spoke w/ Rep #2. This time I spelled my name multiple times, but he too, was incapable of spelling (DUH) so again, I never got my EM. I CALLED BACK A 3RD TIME. Hurray! An Einstein! He could actually not only spell my 5 letter name right, but also get the EM to me! I held on the phone this time, as I had 0 trust by the 3rd time. I got the EM only to discover Rep #1's price quote was NOT $163.14 but OVER $700!!! RIP OFF! I had to wonder are they really this ILLITERATE or was it a CON to not send me the EM price confirmation, then spring it on me when I picked up the vehicle and it was too late? I demanded to speak w/ the Supervisor, who REFUSED TO HONOR THEIR ORIGINAL QUOTE. I told him to listen to the recorded phone conversations! I FILED A COMPLAINT W/ THE BBB. In their response to my BBB complaint, Budget Corporate Ofc. alleged the price quote was NOT $163.14. I KNOW WHAT I HEARD & WROTE DOWN AT THE TIME & REPEATED BACK TO THE REP. ENOUGH AGGRAVATION AND WASTED TIME! I went to ENTERPRISE car rental where the price and service were excellent!!! I rarely write a bad review but My frustration leaves me no choice. I booked a car for pick up in Raleigh Durham seven months ago and a drop off in Tampa. I got a phenomenal rate and I got a convertible so I was very excited. Turns out my flight is getting in too late to get to the pick up location because it is not at the airport so I called to see if I could maybe pick up the car at the airport instead. The first person of course said he can't help me to call Customer Service and he gave me a phone number. I spoke to someone for a while and then they gave me a supervisor to say that I can't even get a convertible because they don't offer them anymore so I said OK that sucks but can you please at least just let me pick up a comparable car at the airport and he said I would love to but I can't help you call Customer Service they'll do it for you. So after on hold again for a while which is fine I asked for a supervisor who in fact was even less helpful and basically wouldn't do anything to help me even though they booked a car for me that they're not even going to provide. I didn't ask for anything other than a location change which they said they would've had to get the car from there anyway which turns out they don't even offer anymore. The absolute worst customer service and passing the buck and not listening to your customer or even offering any kind of help or solution. It's all about money and I don't even know why companies say that they're there to help you because frankly they are Not there to help you!! It always amazes me that when you're traveling and your flights late or the car company doesn't have what you booked seven months before they ask you to understand and I always understand because it is what it is so it is so frustrating and sad to me that they can't realize that every once in a while it wouldn't hurt them just to be a little flexible and work with you when they can't do something it is a two-way street folks!!!
