They had me pay and said everything was fine. I trusted them and paid. once I walked to my vehicle I noticed it was the same door handle, but it was now scratched up much worse. It also would no longer lock or unlock. I went back in and let them know I caught them. Shane explained he forgot to mention this and he was so sorry for letting it slip his mind that they did not do the work I paid for. They said they would fix the locking issue. They did BUT now the key doesnt work. I left tired of the incompetence and afraid of more damage to the vehicle. Once I arrived home I realized they did not return my $500 key I had just bought at the dealer. When I called back they said.........we dont have it, we will look. Never did I receive the key or a refund on the horrible work that was performed. You should never go here unless you dont care about your vehicle, quality work or losing your items that are in their posession. I lost over $1,000 trusting them with my vehicle.

Due to the fact that someone was there "first" we were without 50amp power for 5 nights with temps in the high 90's-100. We had reserved and paid for a 50amp spot. When the "buddy" left we plugged into the 50amp plug, but then another "buddy" pulled in!! Well, we had our RV plugged into the 50 amp and our new neighbor was NOT happy. He actually threatened to unplug us! The front desk and maintenance personnel were very friendly and nice. After complaining about paying for 50amps and not getting it, I was reimbursed $10 a night for the five nights we didn't have the 50amps. The laundry and bathrooms were clean. The location was perfect for our itinerary for the area. I wouldn't recommend this place based on our experience with the electricity as stated above and the daily outages of power. I don't understand why they would keep putting people in the "buddy" spot knowing they can't provide the electricity for it, just seems they are asking for bad reviews and unsatisfied customers.

We were already staying one night at Capitol Reef Resort, and it was super convenient to add it onto my room booking.  We chose the 4 hour hike and our guide was informational and friendly. There were only 4 people and 4 llamas plus our guide at our time slot. Our llamas Hugo and Benny were beautiful and kept us smiling the whole time. My hubby normally does not enjoy hiking but the 4 miles went by pretty quickly! We did get a few short 10-15 minute breaks. Our llama also carried the tables, chairs, food, and drinks for our picnic.  Our guide made us a Caprese sandwich and we got to enjoy the view with some cheesecake after. We got tons of beautiful pictures and videos with our llamas.  This was such a memorable experience and we were so happy to hike with the friendly and well behaved creatures.  When we hiked back to our hotel, we got to say good-byes by feeding the llamas some treats and taking more pictures.  I highly recommend this to anyone who loves llamas!

Capitol Reef is off the beaten path for most travelers, but it's a cool park and the rock formations are fascinating. We stayed at the Capitol Reef Resort (which was also great) and they had signs for llama hikes. What the heck is a llama hike?? My almost 60 year old Mom was a skeptic. I went on Instagram and found the company is rooted in Idaho, but have expanded across the country. I didn't have phone service so I did email contact and tried to use the hotel phone. Within minutes I got a response! This was 15 hours notice and they said we were in. AWESOME. So the llamas come up over the hill and I'm like -- this is amazing already and it only got better from there. Our guide, Jessiny, was so kind, knowledgeable and treated us to a wonderful 2 hour walk/hike in the washes of Capitol Reef, an area hardly traversed. Also, the guide/hike was just us! They do this private reservation thing so it's just your booking and the guide -- what?! All for $180?? What a steal. Let's get to the llamas. My skeptical mother was smitten within minutes. They are these giant, fluffy, adorable creatures that want to cuddle, walk with you and just chill while you walk around the outskirts of Capitol Reef. It's like having a giant camel-like dog by your side. You can put your stuff in their packs and feed them treats. It's the absolute BEST. Our guide was also super cool about making stops, getting water and taking pictures. She was also attuned to our pace and energy levels. The whole experience was outstanding and it made memories forever. Do this while you are here, it was worth every penny. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I miss my llama already.

Small campground, but very friendly owners and a beautiful location. There aren't many campsites, but we were able to look across a large field to the grand Tetons. The rooms were the same except in my first stay I had a master suite and this time it was just a standard 2 room suite. Everything in the hotel was nice and clean. All the doors and counters and such were high quality. I'm starting to become a fan of AmericInn. I know a lot of people like their hotels to be different, but there is some sort of satisfaction about knowing what you are going to get when you walk into a hotel. I feel like I have this knowledge now with AmericInn. I ended up sleeping in so I missed the free breakfast so I can't really comment on that. The only real negative I have is that the elevator was sort of jenky and made some weird sounds. I enjoyed my stay here and I think I will have to start booking more stays at AmericInn. We initially got the location confused for another Sinclair gas station across the highway, but the driver called us a few minutes before departure time to see if we were still on our way. Such a nice service to provide to us travelers! My second experience with the St George shuttle was I myself taking the morning shuttle to SLC airport. I parked in the side lot and waited a few minutes until the shuttle arrived at the gas station. The driver didn't see me at first so she hopped back in the car and drove over towards the lot that I was parked in. I flagged her down and she actually offered to bring the shuttle to me instead! So kind :) So far I'm really enjoying the amenities of the shuttle. Water, WiFi, and charging parts galore! I will definitely be using St George for travel again in the future.
