They are trash, bad service, i had given them a couple try but each time they keep getting stupider, first time i came to get all new tires and yeah did not have the tpms light on until they swapped out my tires, and they love to take their sweet time like people understand being estimated but dont quote 2 hours and take 4 hours. This shop will waste your time if you're a new customer. I came in at 10:08am due to a leak on my radiator, was told that they needed to do a pressure test to identify the leak and that it would take about an hour, I was ok with that but after 2 hours of waiting I went up to Arturo and asked him for an update, he explained to me that he was in the middle of putting my paperwork together and after doing the pressure test they concluded that the radiator needed to be replaced since the transmission cooler line was leaking fluid. I was given a replacement quote and Arturo told me it would take 2 and a half hours for the job to be completed, that was at 12pm. I called back around 3:30 pm to get an update and was told it would be ready by the end of the day which was at 6pm. Came in at 5:55pm and was told that it wouldn't be ready until 7-7:30pm. To be completely honest I was made feel as though I was put on the back burner to be worked on last. To make it worse while I was waiting in the lobby for my car to be completed after 6pm another customer came in complaining about how they kept telling him different timelines as far the completion of the work on his car and due to them taking longer than expected he had to cancel his plans, only to find out that they messed on his oil change and black smoke coming inside his car after being told that everything was done due to an error by one of their technicians. Today is March 31st 2025 as I write this its 7:50pm and still waiting for my car to be completed, after being given the run around about the time my car would be completed and hearing from another customer who went through the same thing now I'm worried that something could go wrong with the installation of this new radiator replacement they did on my car, and for that reason I'm leaving this review here as proof of what I went through, I guess time will tell. After everything the manager did not charge me for the pressure test which was 49.95. I also noticed that the time on the paperwork does not reflect the correct timeframe the work on my car was completed as it states it was completed at 5:38pm even though it is 7:55 pm and I'm still here. read more

Came in because of a check engine light that I already ran the code for, but of course everyone has to run their diagnostics. Thankfully, Bud was lower than the dealership and another auto mechanic just down the street that I would actually never return to. $99 for diagnostics I already knew it. It was $88 for the part. Overall, the job cost $400 This was disappointing and makes me think I should start watching YouTube videos so that I can learn how to work on the cars better lol But let's talk about bud 's No cups for the coffee, no creamer No water for the water fountain and I had to ask No ride back when they're working on your car for longer than it should take When I get back to the car, I have to clean up the mess that they've left behind I guess Basically spent my whole day, trying to get the check engine light back off and I got to walk so I got some exercise This is a place. Came in this morning because the tire indicator came on. We went straight to Bud's. Ceasar proceeded to check all of the tires and filled them with air. Upon on inspection, he determined that the tires were starting to crack and deteroriate. The Tires are six years old and have acquired lots of milage. They are running Specials. Went in when they were almost closed and their bay was super full. My stem cap had broke, my tire was at 15 psi i had no way to fix it before a 40 minute drive home from work. I didnt get the guys name that helped me but honestly everyone at the shop was super friendly. One of the attendants in the lobby came outside and fixed my stem in 30 seconds and told me to pull into the bay to fill the tire. They didnt have to help me but they went above and beyond and did. And genuinely every worker was smiling and super nice. If i have any issues with my tires ill definitely be bringing it here after this experience. Thank you guys. read more

First off well done! As a business owner these guys were great. Checked up with me about noon on how things were going. My steering wheel and alignment was WAY off due to a broken steering linkage a few days prior. That I did replace. But they follow my work and got it all Dialed in! It drives so straight.! Had a flat tire at home 9am. Took it off and brought it to Bud's. Had to order and deliver to shop. Friendly and polite service. Told me they would call me later. I decided to call them @ 2pm. Attendant said tire arrived and would call me @ 4:30pm. 4:30 passed so I decided to go check out the situation @ 4:50pm Attended was polite and told me they would get right on it. When I called at 1130 am my car had not been serviced yet. This may not be a big deal to some but if your time and schedule is important to you I would not recommend this shop. We have had to go back and pay several times for tires on our motorhome that were "warranteed". Had two inside duals that lost air on the first trip and were still charged $180 to have the replacement tires put on. We have had one per month losing air at the valve stems since then and had to pay for replacements. This time we were told that the tires had been installed with standard valve stems, not the high pressure valve stems necessary for an RV --but THEY were the ones who installed them that way initially!! Not happy with this place I called them to get pricing for two tires and I told them that American Tires had them for $259.99 each and they told me no problem come on down, so I drove to the place and the sales person in the front of the store I showed him the pricing from American Tires and stay out told me we do price matching but I'm not going to sell you those tires for that price and for me to go to American Tires. Worst customer service I think I've ever had with a shop. I understand they were purchase a few years ago by a corporation and it's not the old Bud's that we used to love. I would never recommend them to anyone or take any of my vehicles there again after this last visit. They don't answer there phone, or put you on hold and never come back. This place is AWFUL. I never, and I mean never leave reviews. In fact this is the first Yelp review I can recall ever writing. Bud's Tires off Van Buren and Wood is THE WORST experience I've ever had with getting new tires. First, they took 4 hours to simply tell me the tires I ordered were not in stock. When I settled for some different tires they had, they took another hour to give me an update. While I was waiting, they showed me my air filter to try and get me to buy a new one. After I declined since I needed to head out having been there for 5 hours, they forgot to put my air filter back into my air intake, and left the lid of the intake completely off the intake box. I could not believe my eyes when I opened my hood and saw no air filter in my car, and the intake left completely apart. NEVER, and I mean NEVER spend your money here. Wow! I simply came in to get a new tire. A little embarrassed, because I had only intended on dropping my children off at high school and not getting out of the car. So I was still in my pajamas. I arrived first thing in the morning, three bays were open and they were just opening the fourth. The Man opening the bays, never even looked at me, or acknowledged me even to say, I'll be with you in a minute. As I walked inside The Man inside passed me to move his vehicle. He did say hi, which was very nice, but never asked me what I needed. When he came back to the front, he seemed to be annoyed that I only asked for air. I would have asked for a new tire had both gentleman not have been so rude. I was directed to the second bay, and after moving three vehicles out of them, I was finally acknowledged. And instead of asking how he could help me. He rudely said what is it you want. OMG I understand it's the morning, and not everyone is a morning person. But this was horrible customer service. I took my car in at 8 o'clock, they called around 12:30 saying after lunch it should be finished up. We came at 4:30 and my car was sitting outside, so we went inside to acquire about whether or not it was finished. They didn't do the aligning yet so we came back at 5:45 and the car was still sitting there with no alignment. No one kept their promises everyone exaggerated. Why would you put new tires on my car and then take it out of the bay to service other cars when you're supposed to do an alignment and call me to get my car? This is the second time I've been here in the last about six weeks, the last time I came in I got my brakes done. Earlier today they tried to call me and say I needed new brakes. Why would I need new brakes when I just got them done by you guys recently? That's why I will not recommend this place to anyone because it's fraudulent. When I did get my brakes done, they said that they did an alignment and my car did not in fact receiving alignment. They're not doing the jobs. They're saying they're doing and they're charging people for things and or guaranteeing things that they do not plan to do anyways. So I do not recommend this place to anyone and I will not be going there with my cars ever again. read more

This place fell off once they got bought out a couple years back. I was warned, but didn't believe so until I took my truck in for a simple tire fix and rotation. In short, my truck was supposed to be done same day, they call me at 5 ish saying they never got it and wanted to keep it til next day. The next day they call and say they cant patch and they won't do anything except sell me a new set. They didn't call to ask, they called to tell me that was the only choice. After they tried to leave me hanging and push new tires on me, I went down the street and got it patched. Also ordered new tires and got them for a 100+ cheaper than what these scum bags tried to quote me for. Smh. I don't recommend this place for any service. I took my car to get the AC repaired two years ago and they charged me $2000 to repair the compressor then I went back again last year and they said it was something else and then I paid another thousand. went back again yesterday and they said it was a compressor again and they didn't want to replace it because it's past two years but they were willing to repair it again and just give me credit for the compressor and charged me $1300. They keep scamming me for more money and I don't recommend anybody doing anything here. read more

Very slow service. If you are not in a hurry and have time in your hands then you might be ok. Not the place if you want fast, efficient service. First time get, probably my last. I made appt to take my car as soon as they openeded so that my vehicle could be ready asap. Dropped off the car, several vehicles were in the bays but nobody working on them. Waited about 15 minutes to be picked up and I did not see anybody working on any vehicles. I was told that my vehicle would be ready by 12pm. Figured, that it would be sufficient time to change 4 tires and do an alignment. I've called several times and car is not ready, almost 3pm and they havent finished changing all the tires nor done alignnent. Called again, they said it will be ready in a couple of hours! I purchased 4 tires from them two months ago. We made an appointment they told us our tires would be done around 2:30pm. When we got there we waited another two hours. Flash forward I recently got a nail in my tire, I called Buds to see if I could bring it in for them to patch as I needed it fixed to go to work the next day. they let me know I could make an appointment at 5 PM. I called them to let them know I was on my way, once we got there they said that their guys stop working at 5 PM when their shop shows that they close at 6 PM and why would they allow me to make an appointment at 5 PM & tell me it's OK to bring my car in. I will no longer be doing any further services nor supporting their business. That is wild to me that they couldn't fix a simple patch on a tire after the amount of money I've spent supporting their shop. I paid for 4 new tires on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler last week and scheduled for installation this morning including a wheel alignment and told them I would wait for completion. I got there at 7:50 in the morning and the techs start at 8. My Jeep was put on the first lift behind the window and the tires were installed by 10 and was expecting the Jeep to be on the Alignment rack immediately. I had an appointment at my home at Nood that took a week to get, but I was assured I would be out in plenty of time. At 11:30 I asked what was going on and I was told that a Tesla was on the rack and I was next up. This was total BS and I asked for the Jeep and left. I contacted parent company Monro and tried four times to get through, only to be disconnected after waiting 15 minutes on hold. I had a 9am appointment for a tire rotation and air check. I dropped the car off on time and was told it would be about an hour. I called them at 12 and was told they were just starting it. I showed up to the shop at 1:45 to pick up the car, cause they said it was only about an hour to finish it and they hadn't even started it. I was then told the technician working on my car had gone to lunch. After complaining, they pulled my car into the bay and had it ready for me in about 15 minutes. Now I'm not sure they did the tire rotation or checked the TPMS sensors like they're supposed to. The guys at the counter were polite and tried to be helpful. It made for awkward conversation while I waited because there was no good reason for the delays and they realized it. read more
