Came in to get two new tires. I used this location when it was NTB and it was a good experience…read more The person at the counter helped me to order them. They came in the next morning, which is why I'm giving two stars. When I went to pick up my vehicle there was an older tire on the rear(this is not industry standard, new tires always go on the rear). After asking the counter why? They said we talked about replacing the front tires, but even after paying for a balance and rotation of the tires, just replacing took place. He said I didn't ask for the good tires to be on the back. If the employees working at a tire/mechanic shop do not know a basic industry standards, I wouldn't trust them to do anything else more critical with my vehicles.

I measured the tread when I got home and there was 5/32" tread left on all four. Get close to time, but not grounds to not rotate them. While measuring the tread, I noticed the oil leak. Thinking they had left the plug or filter loose, I got under the car and discovered the plug was tight. I tried to back it off and discovered they had cross threaded the plug and tried putting some kind of sealant. I told her to take it back, but didn't mention what I knew about the plug. She took it back and they "fixed it". The third time, I went with her and the service guy said it just needed a new crush washer and it was good to go. "What about the cross threaded plug?" The response was silence and kind of a stupid look. "No, it wasn't cross threaded." Bullshit! Ended up having a new oil pan put on eating the cost. Easy to see why Discount Tire is mopping the floor with NTB. Never again.
