Five star experience!…read more I wanted to send flowers to thank a sales associate for their great service. I Googled florists near Canoga Park, and Dottie's was the top result. I called Dottie's on a Saturday afternoon at 2:30. Niall answered and was incredibly efficient. I explained what I needed and that I wanted the flowers delivered by 5:00 PM. Nile/Niall was able to explain all of the details to me: they usually stop same day delivery at 12:00 p.m. However, if I was open to it, they could use a third-party service for the delivery. I agreed to this. Because the website was easy to use and had examples of their arrangements, I was able to quickly choose my selection which they had ready to go. I believe I paid $180, which I was fine with because I wanted flowers delivered ASAP. My payment was processed over the phone and I got an email confirmation. The sales associate received the flowers before 5:00 p.m. and she loved them. I appreciate the efficiency and excellent customer service I received. I highly recommend Dottie's!

Over that time, I've always appreciated the friendly service, efficiency, and quality of your flowers. That's why this experience was so surprising and disappointing. When I walked into the store, there was only one customer whose order was being completed. I was acknowledged and told that someone would help me "in just a minute," which seemed perfectly reasonable. However, over the next 20-plus minutes, multiple other customers came into the store. I watched as people purchasing bouquets, placing special orders, picking up arrangements, and arranging deliveries were all helped before me. Despite being there first and waiting patiently, I was repeatedly overlooked. What made this even more frustrating was that my order could not have been simpler. I had already selected the five flowers I wanted within a couple of minutes and simply needed someone to put together a small arrangement. Instead, I stood there waiting while customer after customer was served ahead of me. Eventually, I left without purchasing anything. The flowers were for my daughter, and because of the lack of attention and basic customer service, I now have to find another florist on short notice. More importantly, after more than a decade of being a loyal customer, I don't plan on returning. Everyone can have a busy day, and mistakes happen. But completely overlooking a customer for more than 20 minutes--especially one who arrived before everyone else--is simply unacceptable. I hope you take this feedback seriously. I've always had positive experiences at your shop, which is why this one was so disappointing. Unfortunately, it has changed my opinion of the business, and unless something changes, you've lost a customer of 12 years. I sincerely hope no one else has the same experience.

I was on the right path, but let me tell you about Chelsea at Sister's Flowershop! She took my half baked guy idea and made me look like a romantic GENIUS! Chelsea suggested we take the drink holder and use that as a floral display, build that up to be a flower covered place for my girl's coffee to go on her desk at work. She wouldn't need to water it and several other technical details about flowers I didn't know and taught me about quickly. The end product was, in my opinion, pretty dang cool, but you should see the way my girl is blowing me up with texts and pics and heart emojis as I type this! She's ready to call out sick the rest of the day and rush to me! Meanwhile, I'm just keeping my mouth shut because I know the truth, the ONLY thing I did was pick the right flower shop!!! I didn't take the best pics. I got one before there was coffee in it, then I got one with coffee but inside the bag. I hope they all make sense!
