Royce was nice, he was just diligently busy with the other customers, so I can't speak too much on him. And Julian was very patient, honest, and even friendly enough to bring good conversation while attending to our bike. These three men maintained an inviting energy both times we stopped in within an hour span. All of the 5-star reviews are very much deserved, and I'll give them another one! After doing research, I decided to get a LIV Alight 3. I'm 5'4, and got the small (I was able to test the small in the store, and felt comfortable with it.) I arrived around noon on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy then. I was helped by Daniel, who was cool and helpful. I didn't spend too long in the store because I knew what bike I wanted (and had checked to make sure the bike was in stock already). I pretty much came in-person to put the order in (for LIV bikes at least: ordering online from the LIV-cycle/Giant website and shipping it to you has extra fees; so if you can, just buy it in-person!). Daniel assured me he would assemble the bike the same day, especially since I was planning to leave OC and head to LA that same night. True to his word, I later got a call around 4:45pm saying my bike was ready for pick-up! Quentin (I think that's how you spell it) helped me this time, and carefully loaded the bike into my Honda Civic (I had my back seats down and the bike's front wheel was off -- but it was super easy to put back). All in all, I'm very happy with my experience here! I would happily recommend it to others. :) read more

If you owned an Electric bike do not take it to this repair shop. Before I took my E-bike in , I called first to see if they could do the repair with the same day. The repair was simple: change the tube, adjust the derailer system and the brakes. Nothing complicated here. The person that picked up the phone didn't bother to verify if its an E-bike and told me they could do the repair on the same day so I took it in. When i showed up, another person told me they dont work on Electric bikes but since I was told to come in they would make an exception. The only thing that got done while i left it there was changing out the tube. They couldn't even work on other issues. They changed out the tube but couldn't even pump up the tire because they dont the adapter to pump up the tire due to my wheel being so tight ( i have an electric hand cycle with front tire similar to an e-scooter) How can a bike repair shop not have such an adapter on hand??? I dont know whats going on there. They ended up sending me to another one of their other shops in Fullerton that does E-bikes repair but the repair technician there refused to work on my bike because hes not familiar with electric hand cycle. Ok I just wasted my whole day with this company and didn't get anything done. On a brighter note: they didn't charge me for changing the tube because they couldn't finish the job. read more

Hands down best customer service of a bike shop I have ever experienced. I had an issue with my E-bike and was directed to BP Bicycle Co since they are an approved vendor or whataver you call it. From the first phone call, I felt the at ease. Quinton (Q) explained how it all would work and was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. You can tell he truly loves what he does. My bike seemed to be defective in the end so Q saw through to the end that I get a brand new replacement bike and personally built it himself. It rides 10 times better than the first one i had to put together. I am so appreciative of this shop and Q for taking such good care of me and my bike. I dont think i wiuld have imagined i wiuld write a yelp review for a bike shop, but the team and Q especially deserves 10 stars if i could give it to him! What really stood out was Alex who assisted me with the repairs; he was very knowledge and honest when explaining some of the issues with my bike. Moreover, he provided some insights on how to keep it in top condition and maintain it in the long run. My bike was needed for an upcoming project, and I was not disappointed - The repairs were completed within a few hours of dropping it off and I was relieved and thrilled to find that it was reliable and performed exceptionally well during the days I needed it! Okay, I haven't gotten my new bike, but I'll take a leap of faith and give the store (and it's affiliated store - Fullerton Bicycle) five stars. I believe there's also a third store in this group that specializes in e-bikes. We popped into Fullerton Bicycle on Friday to check out the LIV Advanced Pro line. Turns out the Buena Vista store actually held the bike so Poppa Mike called over to make sure it was assembled, etc. We then popped over to the BV store on Saturday morning. Quentin (thinks he might have been the recipient of that name for the director but could be for the prison - ha ha) charged up the bike and a staff member/mechanic made adjustments so I could test it in the parking lot. Long story short, the two of us ended up purchasing two new LIV/Giant bikes which hopefully will be ready in the next 7-10 days. We found the staff friendly and informative; not pushy. This is a 'small' business but the staff seems connected and understands building a good customer base. Also kudos for having a pretty decent online system so one can check inventory, etc. I can't wait! read more

Great shop with humble staff (hard to find in the mountain bike world.). Quintin and the service manger are really solid people; super knowledgeable and go the extra mile for service and sales. The shop is basic and well worn... I like that. No flashy overhead to make each month. You can tell this place does bikes... and they do it well, and doing it for a long time. The folks that work here do it... gravel bikers, road bikers and certainly mountain bikers. The also have all the latest e-bikes (although I just don't understand the concept of e-biking ... seems counter intuitive to the whole idea of biking... but hey, fat people should be able to site-see from two wheel too!!!!) I have been meaning to buy a bike for a long time now. Due to the quarantine season, I have been itchin' to get a puppy or bike. Since a puppy would probably add more stress to my life because they can be high maintenance, I went for a bike. I'm not angry, so much as I am disappointed. This store was my go-to for bikes and bike parts, and I have bought 2 Giant bikes with little issue over the last 8 years. As of 2/13/2022, I went back to the store to pick up a bike I dropped off for wheel repair and tire treads replacement 5 days ago, but they couldn't fix it at the agreed date. They then tried to charge me for a job they couldn't complete, which makes no sense. And to top it all off, they were rude when I refused to pay, saying "Alright, take it and get out." Get out? I will indeed get out and never come back. 1/5 stars. EDIT 8:18 PM The repair person tried to call me up to 16 times, 15 minutes before store closing. I do not believe that they were trying to call to apologize for their subpar customer service, but to start a fight of some kind. This only reinforces the negative feeling I have towards this store. I went into the store to pick up a bike I inquired about a few days before, Alex brought out the bike and I was so pumped to see it.
