What we were told would be a 2-day repair ended up taking 6 days. To make matters worse, when we finally got the bike back, they had forgotten to install the fender. The extended delay and lack of attention to detail made the whole process frustrating. A repair taking days longer than promised is frustrating enough, but returning a bike with work left unfinished is completely unacceptable. The lack of reliability, attention to detail, and follow-through made this one of the worst service experiences I've had. Based on this experience, I won't be returning and cannot recommend this shop.

A few days ago, I found myself outside of Del Taco (Alondra at the 605 Freeway), with my disabled…read morefoldable e-bike, contemplating an Uber trip to either home or my local LBS. While there, a gentleman came up and offered to help. It turns out he is the owner of 562 Ebikes (a company I've read about for over a year...but had not yet ventured to see). He drove me, and the e-bike, over to his showroom (which was very close to where I was), and proceeded, with his salesman/mechanic, to replace the punctured rear tube, and fix a recent throttle assembly issue (luckily, some of the e-bikes they sell utilize the same type...so they had the needed part). While diagnosing the throttle problem, they discovered and replaced my damaged front brake cable housing and cable, and adjusted both front and rear brakes. In the end, thanks to their care, expertise, and experience, I got back an e-bike in good, safe, working order at a reasonable price. I consider all of this to be above and beyond because my e-bike was internet-bought. Because of the electronics involved, many a LBS will only service e-bikes they directly sell. Besides the servicing, it was their friendly customer service that left a lasting impression (even beyond the extraordinary lengths they went to help me). They earned this 5-Star rating, and a customer. Thank you. P.S. If you're a Filipino (and I am that), then this place is for you....

Unfortunately, the moment you need service or warranty support, the experience is completely different. Getting an appointment with the repair shop is practically impossible. The repair guy apparently doesn't have a consistent schedule, so you're told to call the same day and basically hope he's there. That alone is incredibly inconvenient. After driving 50 minutes each way through traffic, I finally brought the bike in. Instead of trying to understand the problem, the first response I got was to accuse me of not riding the bike properly. When I explained that my 11-year-old son only rides it with me, the focus immediately shifted to finding a reason to deny the warranty claim. They pointed to a small upgrade we had made to the bike, despite the fact that the upgrade had nothing to do with the problem I was reporting. After making a 100-minute round trip, I left with no real help and a very bad impression of their customer service. The sales team may be great, but that doesn't mean much if the company isn't there for you when something goes wrong. If you're considering buying from them, make sure you live close enough that dealing with their repair department won't become a nightmare. I personally regret buying from them because of the service experience. To be clear: my problem is not with the sales department. My problem is with the repair shop and the way the warranty/service issue was handled.
