There were awfully slim pickings around here for breakfast, but I finally found this gas station restaurant open. Fancy it wasn't, but their breakfast offerings, while largely not to my liking due to all the eggs and such, at least included some French Toast with a pretty indulgent butter pecan sauce. I got some melon on the side (might not have done that if I'd known it came with a piece of cantaloupe, but whatever) as well as a horchata, which ended up being a very sugary breakfast. They have a more Mexican menu for lunch; I wish i could have had some beans and avocado for breakfast but that wasn't in the cards. But at least this was fast and tasty.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place. We've been here many times. They're only open for breakfast and lunch. The food is outstanding. Authentic Mexican or delicious breakfast burritos; pancakes are to die for, or an omelette, you can't go wrong. Home fries are probably the best I've ever had. Street tacos are incredible, served with rice and beans. Service is quick and friendly. Atmosphere is just typical diner/dive, kinda no frills. Who cares? Food is that good!

A must try!!!! No regrets!!!! Where do I start!!!! Best hidden gem .... Our favorite new restaurant!!!! Delicious food... The food is so good we came back a few days later. The restaurant is next the a gas station so you may miss it if driving too fast... my husband and I had the chicken chimichanga and the Gorditas on the first visit.... Both are not pictured because we ate it too fast... We went back to try the breakfast and it was equally delicious..... no Togo boxes for us... The service was great. The owner and his wife are an amazing couple!!!

Best breakfast burrito I've ever had. We had the chorizo burrito and the pablano burrito. The salsa was fresh and very quick service!

The waitress was very friendly and professional, and seemed to enjoy her job. The restaurant I have to say was clean well organized, and had a very comforting ambience. Almost like a home like feeling. Listening to the team jovially talk to each other other made you feel that you were at home. I will start out talking about the broccoli salad, OMG, that was outstanding! Though the portion was on the smaller side, the flavor was rich! I had the two for two for two breakfast, which was the two eggs, two pancakes and two strips of turkey bacon. The pancakes ice would say we're very good and of course you can't go wrong when you do eggs correctly like they did. My aunt had some type of pancake that was made into the shape of a bowl and that was phenomenal. I wished I had gotten that. My uncle's egg white omelette was overfilled with fresh vegetables! It looked outstanding. Overall, I would definitely drive back for this restaurant

It's a bonus when they walk around offering up fresh baked goods straight out the oven! Some of our go-to faves include: the Risk-it-Biscuit, French Toast, grits, biscuits and gravy. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and try to turn the tables as fast as possible but without sense of rushing anyone sitting.

At first we ended up at the bar-only spot (easy mistake), but they quickly pointed us around the corner to the main restaurant--no hassle at all. Anna took great care of us. Super friendly, checked in just enough, not too much. They noticed it was my wife's birthday and actually made it feel special--multiple birthday wishes and a complimentary dessert for the table, which was a nice touch. Great location too. Overall really good experience... would definitely go back.

Pool tables are $1 per game and there's maybe 5-6 tables. My daughter won the chinese food claw game a few times and even got some jewelry so she was really excited. There's plenty of space and it's not fancy, but the kids had alot of fun and it's real laid back & casual. The lumpia was alight and the kids ate their hotdogs. Most who had the french fries liked them. I had the fried shrimp and wasn't impressed. There was thick crispy breading, but could taste alot of salt. I did not like it as much as some of the other dedicated seafood restaurants in town. The grits were just alright also. I guess my favorite was the sweet tea. The bathrooms were clean, but the soap dispensers didn't seem to work. The bartender/server was helpful and I liked the weird jukebox they had. This was our big event for the day and everyone in my family had a good time and enjoyed the visit.
