I haven't been to Buffalo Exchange in many moons! Not a lot has changed...I think the dressing room curtains are still the same! It has a fun, funky vibe and there's a LOT to sort through. As someone who is easily overwhelmed, it may be a little too much...there's not a lot of room between racks and it can get really crowded. They do have a large selection, but some of the price points may be a bit high. I would like to see a bigger consignment/designer section - that I'm usually ok to spend a little more on. I love how they have options to give to charity and I know they have a cool Earth Day event coming up too!

Pants, $8. Sequins vest, $14. Experience and compliments rec'vd while wearing this handpicked outfit by Buffalo Exchange??!? PRICELESS!!

I am SUCH a fan of Buffalo Exchange and have been for decades now. I am pleasantly surprised that there is this location just a little over a mile away from my home. I came here for the first time w my husband, just a week before weekend 2 of Coachella 2025. We were helped by two very nice and more than willing to help associates, SHOUT OUT to Sterling and Madison!!! I ended up buying one of the 3 outfits that they chose for me, which I actually got complimented on and even stopped for pictures with. I WILL, be coming back to shop here and making this my store for really great finds and at very reasonable prices. Until I come back for more, here was my finally look for day one of weekend 2.

Such a cute and vibrant store! I have visited a few different Buffalo exchange Locations and the selection is always pretty good (hence why I keep coming back) this was my first time here and it did not disappoint I loved looking through the racks of hidden gems the store was a little crowded because it was a holiday but I got some cool finds. Prices are super reasonable because most things are im great condition one of the piece I got had tags. The service was also really good the cashier was the sweetest thing she had great conversation and I loved her style. It felt like a welcoming environment and I had a great time :)

First time selling clothes at a thrift store. Waited in line for about 40 minutes before they could look at the clothes. I came in with 4 bags that were overflowing and they only bought one item. Staff were friendly so the experience was pleasant overall. I'm just genuinely curious to know their process in choosing products to buy. Dont get me wrong, I did have some shein items sprinkled in there. However, I think they saw shein and then stopped looking as thoroughly. I was shocked bc the only item they selected was a $5 dress from goodwill from an unknown brand with a rip on the bottom. Meanwhile I had some clothes worn only once or twice from pretty trendy brands such as white fox boutique, ben davis, adika, princess polly, etc. I wasn't really expecting much, maybe walk away with $10 but I only made $3.50 from 4 huge bags of clothes. Tips for sellers -Come early b/c it's a long line (even on weekdays) -Wear a hat or uv umbrella. U will be waiting in the hot sun for a while. -Don't have high expectations on selling. They are pretty strict on selecting pieces

There is always something great you can find if you Dig, but be careful if I'm being honest some stuff is a scam... like why would you re sale a worn out white pro club for one dollar less than a brand new one... just a lot of goffy stuff like that. It's like they think oh we are the buffalo exchange so we can sell it for $3 even tho. That's what it's worth. But non the less unlike a thrift Store bacilli exchange has much better finds and generally cleaner.... But you will spend like $60 real quick. The hidden Gem in the shop are the glasses ... really really unique selection of glasses for $10 and under.

This afternoon I was on the search for a new dresser, and she was sassy and rude from the beginning. In our initial conversations when I was explaining to her I am trying to replace my existing dresser, she interrupted me mid sentence to say "well I don't KNOW what you have now" like girl... I'm literally explaining because YOU ASKED. I was still nice to her and afterwards my friend even asked me why I was so nice to her when she acted that way towards me. Now to the bad part... I found a dresser I was strongly considering to purchase and filming an in depth video to send my husband for confirmation, when Valerie comes up behind me saying something like "I need to get by you" (not excuse me or something neutral or going another way??) and TAPPED MY BUTT!!!!! She interrupted my video, she not only invaded my personal space but touched me inappropriately, and she had a bad attitude from the start. For context, I was bending slightly over while wearing a mid thigh length dress to show the specs of the dresser which made the interaction all the more inappropriate... I genuinely can't believe this happened and I hate to sound dramatic but this has unfortunately turned a good day sour. I did really like the dresser but was in shock after this interaction and left shortly after.

There are many vintage shops on Fourth Street, which makes me so grateful and happy. In the 1980s, we would need to drive up to Melrose Avenue in Hollywood to get this kind of quality vintage apparel and curios. Of course it was an adventure to get all the way up there into deep LA, find parking and browse through the goodness of vintage clothing - the styles, the colors, the textures, the worn in qualities which no current items can produce. Now we have the same opportunity in good old Long Beach. Starday Vintage Too serves as a sweet option for those curious about vintage, about old-fashioned style, and how to reinvent it today. Yesterday I cruised in to the shop, drawn in by the window display, which is ever changing, and always super -stylish. Their usage of mannequins is both haunting and delightful. It feels as though full stories are being lived out through their mannequins and the way they have styled them. The window display says so much about how the female owner (red haired and creative, Nicole) runs her shop: dynamic, thoughtful, retro-centric, and committed to the process of artistically offering vintage goods, highly curated, at fair prices. I just love to see their latest window designs, cruise around inside, chat with the friendly staff, and check out everything from studded belts to zipper boots, wigs to leopard print overcoats... just so amazing. To me, this shop sets the pace for the rest of retro row. It's the corner of 4th and Cherry, high traffic, highly visible and fantastic. Buying the goods isn't the point. Sniffing around, appreciating the items, their history, the store layout, and the entire in-store experience... Treat yourself to a visit. Good times!!

Beforehand, I called to ask if they had a bag limit (they don't). My closet purge was way overdue, so I had 3 rolling luggages that I brought in. Immediately when I entered, the vibe was off. The night crew was all males and they had very poor customer service! The manager was fine, but the two buyers could not stop rolling their eyes to eachother, looking super annoyed I brought in 3 suitcases. They would constantly look at eachother, then me, like speaking to eachother telepathically, probably cursing me out silently for making their jobs harder. The two buyers was a Latino guy with longer hair and facial piercings, and a white skinny tall guy with longer hair. Here's the thing, I know it's a lot to sift through and it's not what you wanna be doing on a Friday night, but I drove far to get here and I'm not going to be bringing 2 bags at a time. It's also not my fault they don't have a bag limit. It was a Friday night and the store was DEAD mind you. This was so unlike my previous experiences a year+ ago, the crew working was either mixed gender or girls and they have always been so cheerful even when I brought in 3 luggages. I felt like such a bother! The next day, I brought all 3 of those luggages to Buffalo Exchange in Fullerton and I guess and I was being overly accommodating helping them put the clothes back into my luggage, hovering and making their buying experience easier however I could. The buyer was a bit confused, and was wondering if I was sorting the clothes she passed on to donate. I said no Id take everything back, Im just helping her pack up the clothes again because I know it's a lot of stuff, and she was like "Oh I've seen more! Don't worry at all, I can put the stuff back it's literally part of my job." This was on a Saturday afternoon when they were really busy mind you! Its crazy how the previous night's experience at Crossroads made me feel self conscious about being a bother, but in fact its THEM that is the problem. They are horribly lacking customer service skills and really should try harder to suppress their irritation (its a skill you must have in that industry). I wouldn't have written this review, but my great selling experience at Buffalo Exchange was a night and day difference. I hope they get some friendlier staff on board.
