Brought clothes here to 'sell'..she only took my most cheap crap from forever 21 from 5 years ago. Had absolutely no concept of clothing worth, brands, ect. My clothes sorter looked like a high school kid. The clothes sorters are rude on top of that. At least it wasn't just me, they were rude to other customers, including a friend who commented on it before I could. For example, she rejected several pieces of Anthropologie clothing with no wear in favor of cheap fall apart brands that teens like. Asked another co worker if she should even take a brand new pair of converse...seriously? She looked like she didn't even know what those were. Then offered like..3$ for them. Saying they're only worth 17$ when I saw them selling nasty looking worn vans for 25$. She must have been the reason I kept seeing stained and pilled up forever 21 shirts. Their prices are...ok. A lot of stuff is well worn and damaged, missing buttons, and stained. With higher prices than savers. I think it might be a good place to buy stuff to resell online. Like I said before, they don't really seem to have a concept of brand worth. So they sell great brands cheap(spell and the gypsy collective), but cheap brands for pretty much retail. I would like to say that dressing room staff was really nice, and helpful, so was the staff member on the floor. The cashier was one of the rudest cashiers I've ever had. ‍So, I'm confused. read more

This place is... ok. Sometimes I want to buy everything, sometimes I dont. Lately, I havent really been finding anything. And by lately I mean the last six months. I feel like I used to find so much more when it was by UNLV and since theyve moved it's just been meh. The prices too are kind of weird. They'll price some designer brands really well (around $20) and then when I find something from lets say forever 21 or h&m they label it at that same price or more. I complain because people go to Buffalo Exchange expecting prices lower than the usual retail, not more. Oh well. read more

This is by far my all time favorite clothing store. There so many good deals and good finds scattered throughout the store. The employees are always so great to me! It's extremely spacious and open which I love. It makes me feel less cramped. The music they play is amazing which is a plus when shopping! read more

Great place to shop : ) I found a designer dress that retails for $100 brand new here with the tags for $22! Best deal that day : ) Last time I got like NEW Bear Paws for $20! Never disappointed when I come here to shop. Now selling is a different story they just don't pay much so if you are just trying to get rid of stuff and you really don't care how much you get perfect : ) I always choose credit because you get more in credit than cash. Talk about GREAT customer service ! I came in earlier this week with my mom. The lady helping us was patient while we looked around and decided on a jacket go my boyfriend. I came back today with my bf to return it because it didnt fit him and the same lady came up to me and remembered about the jacket asking how it fit ect. As we were leaving another young lady made sure we had found everything okay and asked about the jacket as well. Maybe they just have good memory but I think thats amazing. This place was a goldmine for us. Coming from Los Angeles, a city with a Buffalo Exchange, I found their prices GREAT and we bought up a storm. They have great buyers and the store had a nice vibe (played great music, too). Definitely will be back next time we are in Vegas. read more

I recently got into shopping at consignment stores. I was in Vegas for couple days and decided to stop in. The store is big with a lot of clothes. Weird odor when you first walk in, prices are slightly high for second hand clothing. Staffs were nice :) read more

One of my favorite locations for buffalo exchange. Great selection, with up to date styles and brands. I was able to trade a decent amount of cloths and walked out with some shirts and an Armani-Exchange purse for my fiance. The staff was great as well, especially Lisa. She helped us with everything so quickly and efficiently. read more

I must say I have been to several Buffalo Exchanges mostly in California. This by far is my favorite store. It's pretty sad all these negative reviews, because I have only awesome experiences here. The clothing is affordable and stylish and the staff is super friendly. Keep it up! read more

This is always my first stop when I want to clothes shop. Let me start by saying I'm not exactly in there target demographics. Every time I go in I am greeted and many of the staff even remember me from my previous visits and will ask how I've been. While shopping they will always offer to take the clothes I've selected and start a fitting room for me. On the rare occasions I have decided to exchange an item they are very understanding and helpful. I should also mention when I have sold items they were very fair and took time to evaluate each item, even when there was a line of people waiting. This a great place to find nice stuff at a realistic price. read more

Went to this location this past Wednesday. Turned in some clothing items that were in very good condition, they were also brand name items. I traded a pair of shoes, jeans, a shirt, hat, and a tie. All these items are very nice and all almost brand new. Only received a measly $19.65 which is very low compared to what you can get at Plato's Closet for similar clothing. The reason I gave the store two stars instead of one was because the older woman behind the counter was very friendly, however, my items were being placed into a bin by her and then the bin was moved away by another staff member. So if I did want my items back it just seemed like more of a hassle at that point. I wish she would have placed my items aside so that if I decided not to go through with the transaction then all my things would be right there. It seems to me that she does that so that it's harder for you to change your mind if you're a little apprehensive about turning in your items for such a low amount of money, and she really made me feel uncomfortable by doing that to me. Plato's Closet is much better and I will never do business with Buffalo Exchange again. read more

What a complete and utter joke! The staff at Buffalo Exchange all have this wild imagination that they have been transported back to the 60's. They have "their" versions of 60's haircuts, their version of how people dressed in the 60's and even trying to act as if they are a product of the 60's. The problem is, they are not and to be honest I am embarrassed for a few of them. They are all in their 20's and have no idea what the world or what the people were like in that era. There idea of acting cool just doesn't go over well at all. They are simply put, millennial's that have no idea how "cool" even started. They look through magazines and pictures of that era and try to recreate what they think people would buy, what fashion used to be. They are vastly inexperienced and don't have a clue as to what fashion is and what type of fashion is up and coming. They seem to want to "force" an era on their buyers, which never works. Clothing is an attitude and honestly the attitude that we have in "this" era will never reflect what we had in the 60's era. If you have items that you know will sell for more that a buck fifty, go to a consignment shop and let it sell there. Don't waste your time at Buffalo Exchange. I would rather wait for the right amount of money for my "real" vintage clothing than to go here and be ripped off by a staff that pretends to know what they are doing and what they are buying...and turning away. What a shame, really. The OLD version of Buffalo Exchange had some really great staff that knew how to buy. This was their store on Maryland Parkway. I guess corporate thought that placing Buffalo Exchange in the middle of the artsy district would boost their sales? Never going back again. And I was a regular customer years ago. I went to their old location when I was visiting my sister a few years ago and loved it. Bought tons of cool tshirts/boots/dresses/accessories. It was like heaven. So this visit I was super excited to go back and even brought items to sell. The employees were extremely friendly and awesome. They took what I assumed they would from my bag and gave me a decent amount of cash for them too. However I was so sad because I did not find one item to purchase :( I feel like the old location had a bigger selection and wider variety. I flipped through every rack and I felt like I was looking at the same shirts and pants over and over again. Maybe next time I come it'll be better! read more

I don't like giving a bad review but they deserve it. The manager on duty closed the store fifteen minutes early because they had inventory. An associate ran outside and pulled the sign in from the sidewalk and locked the door as I was walking towards the entrance with a large box of clothes in my arms only fifteen feet away. I felt bad because this guy ran past me with a box in his hands and pulled on the door. I checked the hours before going to the store and had a little trouble finding parking but I made it in time. After the guy pulled on the door a couple times, a young lady opened up and said, "we're closed." I told her that the hours online show until 7:00pm. She said, "yes, but we have inventory tonight." There were customers still in the store shopping but she closed early and didn't even apologize. I worked retail for six years and that wouldn't fly. Then again, different company, different policies and procedures. read more

This was my favorite place in Las Vegas to buy clothes. Since moving to main st something was lost. They have a great or even better selection now. The stores very organized and clean.. It's the level of customer service that has definitely taken a big hit. This store is def not my favorite to come into to shop nor sell/exchange cloths/items. Every time go into to the store the team members make me want to leave and its always extremely dissapointed. I will take brand name items in and without even looking at them, say not excepting this right now. or when I shop are rude when it comes to asking questions or assisting customer. If I could give this zero stars I would. I read multiple articles on Buffalo Exchange before arriving and put together over 6 bags of clothes that they stated they were looking for. I brought summer wedges, vintage skirts and dresses, animal print, lace shorts and skirts, countless designer items and so much more. Most things still have tags on them or have never been worn. I even brought in a designer brand new men's suit worth over $400. They took the two girls in front of me and talked to them very chummy like. They're barely had anything and they bought some of their items. Then when I was next they went through all my new stuff not even looking at anything. They just took everything out of the bag and put it back in the bag. They came off as extremely stuck up. It is as if they took one look at me and decided before they even looked at my clothes that they weren't going to buy. I'm appalled that they didn't buy one single item. I was going to shop at their store afterwards, but was so upset that I just walked out. I will never go back to this store. Stay away from Buffalo Exchange Las Vegas. I went there to sell some clothes and shop, not to be looked down on and judged. The girls at Buffalo Exchange Tuscon were so so so much better. read more

If I could give a -1 star for this place, I would. I came to Buffalo Exchange expecting good quality service, and I was hoping that the bad reviews left online were false, but after my experience, they seem to be true. It so happened that the employee that "helped" me did anything but. I brought in a bag full of clothes that are in style, and met their standards, and the woman behind the counter seemed really eager to turn all my clothes down with a bitchy demeanor. All she did was say, "Can't take any of these." In a rather moody tone. However, I had made a phone call earlier in the day inquiring about their guidelines and everything I brought met their needs. I'm thinking because I came later in the day, I got stuck with a lazy employee who didn't want to deal with all my clothes and didn't want to offer anything because it'd probably be too much work for her. Anyway, I won't be coming back anytime soon. This experience with this woman has left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

I used to love Buffalo Exchange but ever since they have moved to main street there has definitely been a change. I brought in 2 big bags of things some with tags still on them and 4 pair of completely unworn shoes all of them were passed on saying they are "transitioning" to fall colors. Disappointed in selling here..had much better luck at other location with name brands. Not worth the drive.

They need more people working at the selling counter. Multiple people were waiting to sell their items and only 1 employee was sorting. They start off by saying, "we're buying current styles, like stuff you'd see at the mall." I took mostly current, like-new items and everything was rejected. Not worth your time to take in your nice, gently used clothes. I even had some with the tags still on them!! All clean and current styles. I wonder if they have a daily limit in purchasing? They look at the items very briefly--which I could tell by looking at some of the racks. Some items show a lot of wear. But I did find a cute pair of solid silver and garnet earrings for only $17. I had them appraised and the valued at $125!! So f you have time to really look you might find a true gem. read more

I almost didn't come to buffalo exchange to sell my clothes just because of all the terrible ratings they have on yelp, but was very pleasantly surprised to find that the reviews didn't match my experience at all. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and gave very fair prices (especially compared to Plato's closet which I visited earlier that day). I think the people were upset primarily because the staff didn't take all of their clothes, but you have to understand that it's not personal - it's a business and it's their job to pick only items they think they can sell. They have a really great, diverse selection, and I will definitely be back to sell/buy clothes. read more

I've never really shopped at a thrift or second hand shop till i walked into Buffalo, and i found it to be fun and different if your looking for an eclectic piece or funky addition to your closet. If your a detailed shopper who wants to see each piece on the rack, you can spend hours here as they have a little bit of everything. Far more women's offerings than men's but that's to be expected. The condition of most clothing i have found to be pretty good, with pricing varying a bit. Like anywhere, the pricing is good for some but questionable for others as you feel almost as if you can get the same or better at a big box store. But do not let that stop you from digging in and finding that deal on that hard to find piece you never knew you needed. To date my best finds were a brand new Hugo Boss dress shirt in my size and tailor cut even for $20, and a pair of board shorts i wear at least 4 times a week in training for $10. Big disappointment!! Brought in a HUGE box of clothing items, mostly my daughter's, who hardly wears them, and still UP TO DATE!! The girl went through each item, trying to make small talk, and finally said it was all fairly older. OLDER? REALLY? Since when did skulls/studs, overall shorts (new), sweaters recently from Victoria's Secret become old? The least she could have done was tell me they are over-stocked with particular items and tell me EXACTLY what they are looking for at the moment. From the looks of the items at their store, I saw plenty of tu-tu's and junky Halloween costumes. Anyone even THINKING about making a trip down there, it would be advisable to call first and ask them what they are looking for. After telling me nothing was suitable for them, she told me I could leave them there for them to donate. Oh, I don't think so.......so you can go back and pick out what you and sell it without giving me any of the credit? Thanks, but no thanks. Never again................ read more
