Oh dear god. This place is a nightmare speaking from both as a customer and as someone who's worked retail the last four years. This place gets two stars and I mean it in every literal sense. 1 star- For the one employee that was nice and polite and who I felt sorry for that he works with such dip shits. 1 star-For having something I could actually use that wasn't broken or ripped in the name of "fashion" I could never work here and this is coming from someone who designs for a living. If three morons playing around like jackasses in happyland completely ignore the one good worker trying to ask for help, what chance in hell do I have as a customer, had I needed help? It is a curious situation in which to find yourself, no doubt. I stare blankly at a teenage girl originally from some square shaped state who looks as if she's just been taken out of Bowery of old. She's wearing a torn t-shirt and far too much foundation as she tells me the dos and don'ts, marketing and mishaps of my ex-wardrobe. I find myself apologizing to this passive aggressive stranger for not wearing my clothing less, for drinking too much coffee as I wore them, for not giving her the stuff I actually still wear in my closet. And to top it off, she can't price the 'better labels' appropriately since the store's pricepoint is usually well below $50. In short, saving my dignity, respecting clothing that never did me wrong--- I'd rather just give the shirt to Salvation Army or Housing Works (they'll pick up) than have her credit my account $4.50 in cash. And besides, I'd get at least that much back in my taxes. As far as shopping here, the feedback loop to that whole experience is simple--- relatively cheap clothing--- at the taste level and discretion of the young street person in the front. Ok, I'm usually conservative in giving things a terrible review. So when I tell you this please believe i'm not a difficult guy to please. Where should I start, I'll start with selling because it's faster to describe. Buying: Nothing in there I would buy, in clothing I am picky (maybe when I was a teen I would). Selling: The lines usually snake around the block like the entrance to madison square garden, or a supreme store release. Most of the employees don't look, act like they really want to be there, but who could blame them. I know I didn't want to be there. They are incredibly picky about what they select, and I say that because most of my clothes aren't incredibly cheap. They wouldn't take my ralph lauren nautical t, wouldn't take my kilt jacket which retails for $140 because ot was fall was told to try next winter even though it's a light jacket. I had another polo T they didn't take. They took my converse chuck taylor red label through, the chick seemed pretty geeked when I brought that in. Nothing in my wardrobe is dirty or holy, might be a little wrinkled but come on. To sum if up only come here if you want to look like a hipster or a teenage girl from a old 90's nickelodeon show. If you ever clean out your closet and hope to sell some clothes, just remember that you'll never be able to guess what they're going to take, so just bring it all in. I'm serious -- everything. I've sold here several times and most of the time I'm just in my head going: "Really, THAT?" as they take stuff that I would have donated in a heartbeat, and set aside the stuff with tags and designer labels that I've never even worn. (Things they've passed on: Longchamp, Free People, Theory, Marc Jacobs, Peter Pilotto, Anthropologie, J.Crew, etc. Things they almost always buy: my Forever 21 stuff.) My least favorite location. The store is small and ALWAYS crowded. The racks of clothes are close together yet very picked over and sparse. EVERYTHING is a size small. The M/L section is practically nonexistent, with a few worn pieces hanging crookedly here and there. The staff is very apathetic and kind of ignore you. I don't want to beg for permission to please please use the fitting room. There are more blue tag items (new items bought in bulk from another retailer by the company) than unique, second-hand "exchange" pieces, which is what I look for at this store, obviously. The selection is meh, at best. I found a couple of things I kind of liked, but not enough to stand in line in a crowded store with people shoving and then deal with rude staff to buy. One star for the decent designer finds. I've definitely found some great stuff there from time to time although watch out for quality. They'll resell something because of its label. They are LABEL WHORES, and I am a reformed one so I know of what I speak. For example there was a Tory Burch purse I bought that I saw later had some chick's blonde hairs caught in the buttons and food crumbs in the inside pocket, yuck, or a Burberry blazer I almost bought there until my friend pointed out it was falling apart along one seam. I did find a brand-new pair of Marc Jacobs platforms there...but they were impossible to walk in. Frankly, I've started to learn labels are worthless, looking good is more important. My nicest pair of shoes that I get the most compliments on are combat boots from Simple Necessities! They cost 30 bucks and are very comfy! NO stars for the Satan's spawn that works there. I wish there were negative stars for these meanies. I swear that's in the job description. "Must be the spawn of Satan/ viciously evil." I'm a sweetheart. I really am. I volunteer to teach children, I save animals. And they are horrible to me. One of my other friends who's a sweetheart as well refuses to ever go back there. It's just not worth it. Lots of other thrift stores in the city. Awesome places.... lower prices, worth ferretting out over this place. One of my other friends said the staff are friendlier at the Brooklyn location. While apparently, he East Village location only hires douches. Once I was buying, BUYING, mind you, and the salesgirl screamed at me, literally SCREAMED, because I didn't bring the hangers out of the dressing room. I was floored. I explained to her I was BUYING everything I'd tried on. And she still nastily insisted I bring the hangers out since "that was their policy!" Really nasty about it. I mean if she'd asked politely or even thrown in a sniffily enunciated "puh-leeze", no problem. I even complained to the manager, and that is a first for me. Honestly. And today.Oy, today I brought some stuff to sell. Not my nicest stuff admittedly, but some new coats, some H&M stuff, not horrible. They gave me 10 bucks for the H&M coat, a brand-new one and it's flipping January and in season and all that jazz, while they were giving another woman 15 for a really ugly top with Marshalls tags on it! It made no sense. And they were snippy about it. "Mark it really, really low," they said about my coat. Then I saw another salesgirl take it out of the shopping cart, try it and keep it!! I love people. I do. I won't go back there, because they are literally changing my mind about humanity. They blow. They suck. They are monsters. Store policy. I truly don't understand. I used to have such good luck exchanging clothing here but lately if you dont work in the fashion industry and have brand-name stuff from the recent fashion show/line to exchange, forget it. I have made multiple trips to try to sell in-season items from H&M and JCrew and have been rejected each time. In hindsight, thinking about what small percentage you get back in cash, I found a much better option. Donate to Housing Works. There is one not too far from this Buffalo Exchange located at the corner of Montague and Henry in Brooklyn Heights. When you donate, you write down the "fair market price" of what you think someone would pay for your item. At the end of the year in the Spring when it's time to pay taxes, total up the $ amount of items donated and list it on your tax return. I've definitely noticed a reduction a much greater increase in my tax return vs what I would've gotten in case from Buffalo Exchange. Here's a great recent New York Times article about this. Maybe I'm spoiled because I've been going to Buffalo Exchange in New Orleans for years, where the staff was incredibly friendly (the second they saw you holding one item they would start getting a dressing room ready for you). The only interaction I had at this store was an employee asking how everything was going and walking away as I was answering, and the dressing room staff very thoroughly counting my items as I left the dressing room. This is a very small store, so there's not as much of a selection. Buffalo Exchange is known for pricing pretty cheap items for a relatively high price. I got a Zara tank top and Mezzanine brand crop top for a total of $30... Would have been better stopping at an H&M, tbh! Plus, when you don't use a bag, aren't they supposed to give you a little token to donate to a charity of your choice? This is, hands down, the most fiscally-friendly resale shop in all of NYC. The merch is a bevy of barely-worn, on-trend items from well-known brands. If vintage is your thang, there's not much of it here. But if you're the kind of label whore who can't stomach Loehmann's prices (i.e. me), Buffalo Exchange is your bag, baby. The average price point here is $17; high-end denim goes for $22; designer dresses cost around $35. This particular location's seen an increase in premium designer goodies since le recession, but don't be discouraged by the occasional $100-plus item. A few months ago, I happened upon a pair of mint condition, Tashkent by Cheyenne over-the-knee boots, priced at $145. These puppies would have cost me $700 at full retail price - talk about a sick deal. I bought them, I'm obsessed with them, and I'm eternally grateful to Buffalo Exchange for bestowing on me shoes I could otherwise never afford. Bonus Points: All clothing organized according to size; an uber-friendly staff (they'll even start you a fitting room); sizeable dressing rooms; NEW merch at wholesale prices (i.e. anything with a blue tag; the store buys in bulk from places like alternative apparel, and sells the new stuff for less). read more

For a second hand clothing store in Manhattan, this one is actually one of the larger ones. And it beats all the others in the vicinity with its value finds. Now, I have to admit that it has none of the charm of a usual second hand shop in that it looks very commercial and well crappy from outside. Once you go inside though and start looking through the racks, there are bargains galore. Maybe it's b/c I've lived here too long and have gotten used to prices here, but here was what I found on a Saturday night: Marc Jacobs black button-up shirt - $16.50 Betsey Johnson lacey top - $9.50 A.P.C navy blue with white accents crochet shift dress - $20 Calvin Klein original sample black strappy dress - $13.50 Diane von Furstenberg black lacy camisole - $15 and last but not least, a bralette (new with tags) from Agent Provocateur - $15 I also saw a Costume National lavender dress top that was gorgeous for $30, a black Catherine Malandrino dress shirt for $20, Miu Miu black heels and a beautiful chartreuse leather bag for $55. If I had paid full price for my bag of goodies, I would have paid over one thousand dollar easily. But as other people have said before, this store sucks and you should NOT go there. You can find some pretty good deals on second-hand designer clothes and shoes (hopefully it's in your size!). If you trade in your clothes, you get 50% store credit or 30% cash. They mostly look for things in current style so don't bring your winter clothes in during the summer time. They are pretty good at accepting basics and are more acceptable of men's clothes because I guess they don't have as many men trading in clothes. All the clothes that they don't take, you're given the option to take back or donate. Choose the latter--free up space in your closet and help the community! read more

I really enjoy thrift shopping and trading/swapping, so I frequent Buffalo Exchange quite a bit (this location and the larger one in Chelsea). I come to this east v location a few times per month. Now, everyone else in this location has been friendly to me except this one employee. I don't know her name but she's very tall, black hair and always in a bad mood. I've had rude remarks directed at me and just terrible encounters with her and I've seen her being rude to others too (one of whom is my husband). And every time I try to ask a question she asks me to talk to someone else because she's either busy on her phone or 'off duty'. I've even heard her gossiping about clients during these 'off-duty' moments with other staff. I mean, come on. There are people out there who probably deserve this job more. If you can tell me her OFF days I'd gladly go at those times. I'll come back and give a better review if things get better. This buffalo exchange is somewhat less expensive compared to others in the city. You can find some worn out, distorted things for outraging prices or rare goodies for an affordable price. I recently bought a nearly new Dr. Marten's sandal high heel for $25! You really have to come at the right time and or be attentive to find something perfect :) Overall, they have a wonderful selection but more than half of their prices need to be adjusted. I think some of the workers who accept the clothes(from their sell/buy/trade policy) need to take the condition of the clothes into consideration NOT just the brand. You can really find some crazy, high prices and shake your head. read more

I make an appointment and still have to wait 20 minutes every time. If you try to walk in you will wait even longer, which is sometimes inevitable as their appointments are ridiculously booked. When I was working at KB Toys in the late 90's, my boss was rocking a Donkey Kong 64 t-shirt as the game was about to launch in the upcoming months. I told her that I would trade a weeks pay for the shirt but she never took me seriously. If my Donkey Kong 64 t-shirt was at Buffalo Exchange it would only cost about $5-$10, meaning my manager should have taken me up on my $60 offer. I think I made less money at KB Toys than the waiters at Amy's Baking Company in Arizona. That shirt would fit well next to the other assorted t-shirts such as a Pink Floyd Dark Side shirt which replaced the pyramid with a jewish star, the joker saying to keep on driving since we are in bat country and a tee proclaiming that suds are better than drugs. You will always find entertaining inventory here every few months and I bought a couple things here that I now wear on the regular. Make sure to wash your products first before actually wearing them to work or social functions. Remember these are previously used garments and considering there are grown adults in my family that have licked NYC subway poles before, I know that cleanliness isn't a strength in my bloodline and need to constantly remind myself of this. Another plus is that this place is always bustling and has good traffic flow, meaning new inventory is getting pulled in on a consistent basis. This review is only based on my selling experience. I came to this location to sell my clothes first. The wait wasn't very long if you arrive around the time they open. After going through my big bag of clothes, they only took 3, which was disappointing. I got about $16 in store credit and $9 in cash. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything I really wanted. The tall chick with the texas tattoo on her bony arm is a condescending-know-it-all 21 yo who rejects everything in front of her and proceeds to explain how fashion trends evolve and trickle down to the masses...as if she is the first one to know this knowledge. I cut her off during her explanation of her fashion speech and took my stuff back. I did manage to get her to take a Diane Von Furstenberg Halter and received a total of $7.85 for it. Brought clothes to sell but they didn't take any of the things I brought with me (a duffel bag, around 10 items, clothes, 2 pairs of shoes and two bags,etc.). I wasn't sure what the guy was doing when he was looking through my stuff but he took everything out, looked at it and fold it up and placed it in a pile. When he was done sorting, he looked at me and said, "sorry, we won't be taking anything today." I was shocked! Especially when I had called earlier that morning, asked about the store, what they were looking for (summer clothes, current store products, good quality items/like-new shoes). While I founded the staff friendly and helpful, I was completely mortified that my stuff didn't sell. I've learned from friends that it's challenging to sell your clothes but was encouraged by the reviews I read about the place and by the women I spoke with over the phone. Overall, the process made me humble; took me for a loop in terms of questioning if I've lost my sense of style. However, I'll definitely go back for a future visit. I had some standard items with me, and like any store they would rather take inventory of things that are unique, more current (the items I had are things that have been in my closet for a while now, but in very good condition - even the guy said so). I understand. I liked that they had a donations bin, I was able to get rid of some of the stuff I brought with me and not lug it all back home. Agreed with another reviewer that they were very good with explaining their store policy. If you're thinking of selling, the guy said to me that they usually take things that are: current, things you'll see in stores now, things that you've probably bought a couple of months ago. Also, if you're in their store they have a bulletin board listing things they are currently looking to buy; call them up if you're planning to make a visit and ask them about what they're looking for. Also, major point, you must be 16 years or older to sell, and all sellers need to have a valid ID on them for the process to be made!!! No sense in waiting on that line for a long time and not be able to complete a transaction...well, unless, they just don't plan to buy anything off of you. Ha. read more

I don't know why I keep giving this store a chance no more after this they employ morons. So I'm a graduate from Fashion institute of technology. I have a degree in merchandising and in design. It is apparent that their staff has not a clue on construction of clothing at all. The girl at the counter dimitri who was dressed as if she was homeless person started to look through my stuff. One thing that she passed over that she didn't take confused me because they were a pair of brand new jeans that were never worn. In the past this seems to be the only things that buffalo exchange actually buys. She said that it was apparent that it has a hemmed edge so that's why. You ever look in a pair of jeans and see the origin tag ? Well the sad thing about the clothing industry is that almost everything is outsourced. With outsourced clothing they want to make as much money as they possibly can and produce a high volume of it. So that edge you were looking for is called a marrow edge. This is a machine where you can finish an edge quickly. Well the pair of pants that were "hemmed" according to you! We're from a company that only produces in America! Nothing is outsourced! So that garbage marrow edge you were looking for ! Won't be there because it was not made by a sweat shop worker ! It was made by an American who was paid a fair wage to make them. This company is called Texas jean company LOOK IT UP LEARN ! I'm calling corporate also because I had a store credit that they lost as well ! So the few things I have sold to them they basically stole from me. So buffalo exchange stop hiring morons who dress like they are homeless hire some one with a brain for fashion. It's not as good as the one I used to always shop at in San Diego, but it's still new so I think they just need time. I found the staff to be friendly and the selection to be decent. Beacon's Closet also resells H&M pieces, so not sure what the big deal is. I wouldn't buy used H&M only because it's not much cheaper than new, but to each their own. The prices aren't too bad either. The best part though, was finding a dress I had randomly seen on a tv character and thought was cute. It happened to be my exact size and had the original tags on it - $265. Buffalo Exchange sold it for $45. Now that's a score. read more

This is probably one of the better Buffalo Exchange locations in the city. It's definitely a place where it's hard not to find something. This location is pretty organized, or as organized as it can be for gently used clothes. They get a TON of new clothes, shoes, accessories in everyday, so I really enjoy going back frequently just to scope out the new items. I must say though-- some of their clothes are unfairly priced. You'll come across items from Forever 21 and H&M priced almost the same as the places they came from. Like, a $15 blouse from Forever 21? I can get that NEW and in style for just about the same price. At this location especially, their shoe selection is very skewed. I'm a shoe size of 9, which i'd say is pretty average for girls, but nearly more than HALF of their selection is sizes 6-7. I had no idea NYC women had such tiny feet... I actually found their customer service to be fairly friendly. I can see past reviewers had bad experiences with the customer service here, but honestly, I've never had a problem with it. read more

But I do have to say there is one sales person there that just doesn't seem like she wants to be there, don't want to name names, but I'm sure most ppl that visits the store knows who she is. Other than that, everyone is very friendly. I brought my stuff there, expecting to get $20... max. But I got $60! Used the credit and got some awesome stuff. I came here to sell some of my clothes that I don't wear anymore. I've never sold old clothes before, I can't really comment on if they gave me a good price. I bought at lease 7 or 8 dress from BCBG and ended up with around 80$. I mean its better than nothing. I have to say, if you are looking to sell. They are picky with what they accept, if its in the fashion magazine or its trendy, mostly they will accept it. Also they are very "brand-whole". I mixed with few of forever 21 stuff with BCBG, they weren't even look at forever 21 stuff, even i think forever 21 stuff is more trendy. You can get cash 30% of your stuff or 50% of store credit. I went here with a few of my friends the other day, and we went went exactly when they opened. We didn't have a problem with smallness/crowdedness. There are a bunch of great deals at this place with brands ranging from H&M and Topshop to Madewell and Free People. I saw a brandy melville sweater for $10! They have a great selection, but in my opinion, I thought the skirts/pants/shorts section was limited. Dressing room attendee was nice as well. Overall, would def come back to this place! This place reminds me a lot of Beacon's Closet. If you like one, you'll probably like the other. I've been here a few times now, and I've never bought anything yet. I'd give it 2.5 stars, but I like thrift stores in general, so I'll round up to 3. This is a place to go to buy your wardrobe to hang out at a dive bar - not to find something to wear to the office or to a chic event. The clothing selection is very specifically geared toward 20-something hipsters. They don't seem to care much about brand, or condition (they have a lot of clothes from no-name labels, that are damaged or visibly worn), it's more whether it meets their particular and somewhat peculiar aesthetic. If you're looking for something funky and unusual (and possibly ugly), this is a good place to try. Personally, I'd rather just go straight to the goodwill - there's a wider variety of items, in a wider range of sizes, for slightly less money, and I feel like I'm actually more likely to find something I like. That said, the prices here aren't bad, and on this most recent visit, they did have a good selection of interesting and unusual (in a good way) costume jewelry. I just wasn't in the market for buying more jewelry. However, trying to sell boots with the heels worn down as far as they could possibly be worn down isn't really acceptable... sometimes, it's just time for things to move to the landfill. read more

I would highly suggest coming here for lightly-worn, stylish designer and vintage garb. I can't tell you how much DVF, Rachel Pally and MJ I've picked up here on any random weekday. The staff's a little disconnected from the customer, but it's to be expected in most NYC retail establishments. Sometimes, I feel a little ripped off. Be warned: the pricing is done by people who are extremely brand-aware, and the more "dee-sigh-na" the garment, the more you'll pay. $30-40 is not uncommon. But come on, $40 for a silk dress is a steal in this city. You could always use the "environmentally friendly" excuse to justify the decimation of your checking account. For the clothes selection, I would give it 4 stars. The customer service and treatment of the employees, however, result in 2 stars,. Unlike many of the other boutique style consignment stores in soho, this is a chain establishment. They have a large inventory, with items for all seasons. I found a lot of great pieces here. I was very pleasantly surprised. (Jcrew polka dot school boy blazer for $25, yellow trench coat from old navy $10, jcrew silk blouse $15, Rag and bone sweater $38, free people sweater $25) CONS: 1. The dressing room attendants. I understand shoplifting may be a problem in Manhattan, and they want to keep track of their inventory, but since most of the items have security sensors, I dont see the need for the attendants to be rude to shoppers, who want to spend their money and purchase clothing. I heard several different employees speaking condescendingly to patrons while in the dressing room, in addition to my own negative interaction. I was in the dressing room, trying on clothing. I started with coats and blazers which I could easily try on over my current outfit. When I finished with the blazers, I brought those I did not want to the fitting room return rack. DON'T SELL HERE unless you wan't to make $20 off of $200 items and have seen items I sold there marked at twice the price they paid me for it. The exchange rate is shit considering they regularly sell worn out H&M and Forever 21 items. Also, the staff takes all of the good stuff for themselves. I've seen them putting designer things aside for themselves for as long I've been shopping here (7+ years). Also, out of all of the Buffalo exchange in NYC it is the least diverse. During my quick trip back to the US, I decided to relive my thrifting days by paying this East Village location a visit. Even if you're not there to shop, a visit here is always an experience, especially if you're into people watching. After being away from NYC for 1.5 years, it was interesting to see all the different characters that browse or work here. There's the buyer with dreadlocks in a crazy huge updo. Then you see the 20-something guy with the baseball cap and thick, old man glasses combing through the racks, lookin' for a come up. There's the hipster with a suitcase full of clothing who manages to get $60 cash back. (Lucky bitch.) And lastly, you see the desperate Asian girl trying to sell 3 pairs of jeans that she would totally still wear today if she didn't gain 7 pounds from eating all of Singapore's food supply. Sadly, said desperate Asian girl was unsuccessful in making any deals that day. After all, NYC is a really tough market to sell in, and sometimes it feels impossible to know what buyers are looking for that day. As the inventory changes depending on what the crazy hipster kids are feeling, a cursory glance of the women's racks leads me to believe the theme this time around was "florals your grandma would wear". read more

Chuh! I never leave this place empty handed. This location is wayyyy better than the 26th street store. They seem to have more upscale brands and unique clothing here, the other store is a little more H&M. This store is great for cute jackets, sweaters, and tops. I thirst for unique sweaters and jackets that no one else has, so its a good place for me. My favorite thing that Ive found here is a navy blue and off-white stripped sweater blazer thing from The Loft. Not way cheap, but you will save a few dollars from buying these items new. read more

A great place to go if you have loads of clothing in decent shape and you want some ca$h. Cha-ching! Beware though, the buyers are picky picky picky! It is always awkward watching the ALL-POWERFUL BUYER reject your clothing again and again. "Your clothes are not worthy!" The store does have a wide selection of clothing, jewelry, and I especially liked their boots. But you will need plenty of time to rifle through the junky stuff. This is a great store. I remember walking into the one in Austin and walking out with a Marc by Marc Jacobs dress that is to this day in every other Facebook picture because of its awesomeness. However. That was Austin, this is Now. I have been in and out of this particular Buffalo Exchange over the years and each time I am disappointed. So you saw a super cute top at Forever 21 that you couldn't quite make up your mind on and decided to leave...the next day, you regret that decision run back to 21 and it's no longer there. Shucks! Have no fear, head to Buffalo Exchange in two months time and it'll probably be on the rack because that (and H&M) seems to be all they buy. In my opinion, they have no creative, hip foresight if that is all they put on the shelves...when I shop second hand, I want a vast selection. In the end, I hightailed it to Beacon's because they did this first AND obviously, do it better. Unless you like wearing a second hand H&M blouse. read more

Obsessed with this place. Retail snobs that are silly enough to pay full retail for must-have-this-season's duds might turn their nose up at this place, but time and again, I find pieces that I love here. Probably have been here over 15 times in the past 6 months. Almost every visit, I manage to find something I truly cherish. For Fall, I scored an olive green Miss Sixty jacket for $14, a gorgeous white J. Crew button down with beautiful collar detailing for $19.50, and a perfect-condition Via Spiga tan/olive trench for $45. I've also spotted pieces from DVF, Giorgio Armani, Marni, Moschino, Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren and an entire RACK of Frye boots (!) but the higher end designer pickin's are a bit slimmer that what'd you find at Tokio 7 or Tokyo Joe. But the prices are also much lower, but you have to have a lot of patience to sort through the jungle of clothing. Shoe selection isn't great, and also you'd have to be Yao Ming's sister in order to see the shoes stacked on the top shelves. For those that are selling: This BE is very picky with what they buy. They'll only buy the most current fashions and well-known labels. Don't bother coming with your throwback A&F and Hollister gear from college. They won't take it. Also if anything has the slightest stain, rip, tear, or missing labels, they also won't take it. Just an FYI so you don't have to haul five laundry bags full of crap down the subway. read more

Tried to sell a bunch of middle to lower-high end brand clothing items here that were spurned by the higher-end Tokyo Joe next door. Curiously, Buffalo Exchange was only interested in the most low-grade item (a mundane, worn down pair of shoes) among the presented batch. The store workers were the most friendly and engaging by far of any that I encountered in a brief foray across East Village consignments, but apparently Buffalo Exchange is only interested in dingy, dumpy items. Their nonchalance towards higher grade items was shocking - appalling, really. At least they are transparent with their policies - store credit or cash options both available (we chose the latter for an amount equal to 25% of the selected sale price). read more
