My daughter and I came in for our appointment and from start to end it could of not felt so racist and filled with microaggressions, the tech was some blonde who was nothing but cold and and short with my daughter. The tech talked to my daughter in such a tone it felt so uneasy which come to find out my gut feeling was right! Reason being is when we got to looking at glasses the manager John could of not been so cold and rude! He said under his breath that my daughter and I were "being too picky" and that he "cant do this because he is getting annoyed" after hearing that I decided to pay extra close attention to him and the level of microaggressions the manger displaced to my daughter and I was just plane disgusting! Never coming back and will go somewhere that doesn't care about skin color

After an all day training and major headache and a lot of traffic, I was frantically calling different eye doctors I googled in the area. When I called Eye West they were extremely helpful, kind and understanding on the phone. My fear was I either wasn't going to make it with traffic or walk in right when they were closing which is exactly what happened. Despite walking in 3 minutes before closing time, the kind and helpful attitude remained. They worked with me to find some sample contacts that matched my prescription. True life savers that week!! I have been coming to Kennedy Vision for over 20 years -since they were up in Elk River off School Street. This past summer I came in for my annual checkup, purchased a couple pair of glasses, and ran into a few issues. This was the very first time I questioned the service I received in 20+ years. I listed out my issues in an email and requested the email be forwarded to Dr. Rossow as I was hoping to bring awareness of the concerns from a long-time customer. Here's my interpretation of the email I got back from the "Director of Operations" when I questioned the confusing invoice, the quality of service I received from the office staff, their BOHO program and being charged double what was reasonable for what I purchased. "I'm not going to pass your concerns on to your Dr. Rossow because we don't want him to know we don't care if you're unhappy / dissatisfied and if you go somewhere else..." "Eye insurance is very confusing....and even though we have 100% control over making your bill / invoice less confusing, we're not going to do it" "Your just one person and we don't care if we loose one good customer - our business model allows for disgruntled customers because we overcharge so much" There's a lot more that I could say, but I will just wrap this up by saying they've lost my business...and my wife's business....and my three daughter's business....so I hope that extra $200 you got from me was worth it... * I am sure someone from Kennedy Vision will respond to this review and express their sincere apologies for my experience and state their commitment to customer service...but remember, that's only when I am posting a review for others to see. The hygienists and dentists are very careful and gentle, and don't shame you. They just do their job, and they remember who you are when you come back. Occasionally they can run 15-20 minutes behind, but that's due to late patients, not them. I've recently had to move away and switch providers, but I can say it doesn't get better than them, and I miss them desperately!
