When I called Eye West they were extremely helpful, kind and understanding on the phone. My fear was I either wasn't going to make it with traffic or walk in right when they were closing which is exactly what happened. Despite walking in 3 minutes before closing time, the kind and helpful attitude remained. They worked with me to find some sample contacts that matched my prescription. True life savers that week!! I had an issue with my other single vision made here in Chiraq where I could see distance fine but not near so I constantly had to take them off to see labels and things from about 5 feet away or nearer. Had my appointment and the optometrist had on ONE shoe and was rude as rude could be screaming at me and pretty much calling me a liar saying I could see far away and not up close(why would I lie?!) then by the end of the check up she was like "I'm not giving you your full prescription because it will be too strong" then proceeded to give me readers I paid over $300 for that are NO HELP! I have a picture of her walking around with no shoe and a recording of her screaming at me. Then when I asked them to send me my prescription THREE times they refused....then send me it after I told them ITS LAW they gave to send it to me, it was a prescription for readers!!!! How did my eyes go from +2.00 and +3.00 10 years ago to almost perfect how?! Then they sent me a bill saying I owed more because they didn't take my insurance and argued with me saying they never checked and blah blah. Worst people I've ever encountered and the place is a mess!

Dr. Lobanoff was the best and only eye surgeon who would help me. I can now see without my coke bottle glasses/contacts. I literally wake up every morning and thank God for my eyesight. I follow up every year for my annual exam. Dr. Axelson and Dr. Kahil are both great as well. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you need an eye doctor, North Suburban is the best!

I have been coming to Kennedy Vision for over 20 years -since they were up in Elk River off School Street. This past summer I came in for my annual checkup, purchased a couple pair of glasses, and ran into a few issues. This was the very first time I questioned the service I received in 20+ years. I listed out my issues in an email and requested the email be forwarded to Dr. Rossow as I was hoping to bring awareness of the concerns from a long-time customer. Here's my interpretation of the email I got back from the "Director of Operations" when I questioned the confusing invoice, the quality of service I received from the office staff, their BOHO program and being charged double what was reasonable for what I purchased. "I'm not going to pass your concerns on to your Dr. Rossow because we don't want him to know we don't care if you're unhappy / dissatisfied and if you go somewhere else..." "Eye insurance is very confusing....and even though we have 100% control over making your bill / invoice less confusing, we're not going to do it" "Your just one person and we don't care if we loose one good customer - our business model allows for disgruntled customers because we overcharge so much" There's a lot more that I could say, but I will just wrap this up by saying they've lost my business...and my wife's business....and my three daughter's business....so I hope that extra $200 you got from me was worth it... * I am sure someone from Kennedy Vision will respond to this review and express their sincere apologies for my experience and state their commitment to customer service...but remember, that's only when I am posting a review for others to see. They had no interest in resolving my issues over multiple emails and phone calls... Only when people complain out-loud do they feel apologetic. No refunds on this review Kennedy Vision.... I was a longtime patient of Dr. Hansen (10+ years) and always felt I received good care with him. I…read morerecently relocated but was back home visiting family and was having problems with the fit of my glasses, which were purchased elsewhere. A family member suggested I visit St Anthony Eye Clinic because they had also had a pair of purchased-elsewhere glasses adjusted there at no cost. Because I had been a patient for many years, I stopped in and politely asked whether they might be able to help me adjust one of the arms, which was loose, and which I'd been having trouble tightening on my own. The woman who met me at the door was polite and said they'd be happy to help, but the person I spoke with at the optical counter (an older woman with short hair and glasses) rudely rebuffed me, sneeringly saying that they won't touch glasses they didn't sell without a $40 fitting fee. After handling my glasses she shoved them back at me without wiping them off or apologizing for the inconvenience or cost. Ten to twenty dollars I could understand, but to charge a patient of 10+ years $40 to tighten the loose arm on a pair of glasses is extortionate, and the attitude was galling. I was really taken aback by how dismissive and rude this person was. I left the office feeling humiliated and upset. If they couldn't offer the service at a reasonable cost, that's their prerogative, but as a small business working with seemingly locale clientele, a little kindness and basic courtesy would go a long way, and it was disappointing to encounter the lack of it. I wouldn't recommend St. Anthony Optical to anyone after this experience.
