For starts, it's a 3 hour tour learning about one of the most historic and unknown aspects of American history. It is extremely well priced for the convenience and intimacy of the tour. You're picked up at the Underground Railroad Historic Museum (free parking is a bonus) and you're met by Kevin (dressed in period clothing including a dope top hat). He drives you to the key areas of Buffalo that were critical to the Underground Railroad. We had a very diverse tour group and Kevin made us feel comfortable to ask questions and to interact with our group. One of the best parts of the tour was going to an actual "station" on the Underground Railroad. It's a 300 year-old barn organically owned by McClew family who were "conductors" on the Underground Railroad. You get to experience the barn where many people were housed, fed, and clothed on their journey to Canada. After this experience 've become a Motherland C groupie! Kevin (the owner) could be a history professor (watch out, Dr. Gates!) with his knowledge and passion of American history and the history of Western New York (he's a Buffalo native). Turns out we were the only ones on the tour today, so it was a wonderful, personal experience with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide named Kevin Cottrell. He was a great storyteller and a beautiful human being. We visited many historic places and heard many disturbing and heartbreaking stories. Because it's small, it has a limited number of shipping items you can buy (e.g. shipping boxes and envelopes) as well as a small selection of greeting cards. There are also only two cashier stations, which means, when there's a long line (esp during the holiday season), you'll be waiting a while. They're pretty efficient and fast with taking care of customers' business, but it could get backed up. Although I've used the self-service shipping center a couple times, I still prefer shipping things in person. That being said though, the self-shipping stand is very convenient. :)

I nentered a store close to where I live where Ellen gives readings. I had met the store owner several times prior to this, I enjoyed her establishment She also refered me to Mrs Bourn. I booked an appt for a reading as a result. I made my payment and was unable to make the appt. Due to personal reasons until the following month so I put half payment down a month in advance to hold the spot open for me. and as the time grew near I became very excited to see what insights Mrs Bourne would have to give me on life events, things in my life she may pick up on, information about myself, my life.I had NO idea how the reading would go, I was excited to finally see what it would entail. On the day of my appt. I spent the time doing daily chores and preparing for my visit at 5:30pm. Ellen's last appt.thst day. ( or so I was told). I must mention I live directly NEXT DOOR to where I was having my reading done, literally less than a five min. Walk. When I got to the store, I was greeted by the owner, who told me Ellen would be with me shortly, Ellen was in the back of the store behind a screen talking to a woman . I paid my other half of my appt. Fee, of 40 dollars, was told that would be for 40 or so min. Of a reading, then was told if I wanted to make it a half hour I could pay another 20 for an additional 10 minutes added to my reading making the entire reading a half hour for $60. I paid the $20. The owner walked back to Ellen and told her that I paid the additional $20 for a half hour reading instead of the $40. When the entire experience took an unpleasant turn. From behind the screen I could hear Ellen's voice agitated and angry saying no.. that I was late. "I'm not going to give him another 10 min.!! I can't do it I've got places to be" !! "And besides that he was late"! she repeated that several times in a angry agitated LOUD voice. The whole experience was offsetting to me I couldn't believe she was speaking and acting way, in such an ugly manner. The other customers in the store could hear her as well basically making it like I had done something wrong!! chastising me and belittling me. NOT to mention when she said I was late, at the time I looked down at my cell phone and the time read 5:33. IF I were late at all it was NO later than 2 or 3 minutes late!! Not to mention the fact that she already had another person behind the screen and had started doing a reading for that person on MY time!! Don't know WHAT she considers late, but most professionals give their clients a grace period of 5 .. sometimes 10 min. In the chance that they are held up for some reason they can't control. I was SO upset, I've NEVER met this woman and she had never met me!! She was portraying herself to me as an EMPATH?? a PHYSIC a SPIRITUAL HEALER?? More like a PYSCHO than a Physic in my opinion. The owner of the store apologized several times to me, again, offering to reschedule the appointment with Ellen. I said SHE was NOT responsible for anything, if anybody should be apologizing to me about the whole evening it was Ellen!! Why would I REschedule an appointment with this woman when she's already clearly shown me aggression and negativity?? I certainly wouldn't want a reading from her for ANY amount of money!! Her over the top behavior for me being 2 minutes late and taking somebody ahead of me on my appointment!! I was offered a refund of my money.ehich for some reason she was unable to put through on the store machine. I was very upset and anxious that this all played out this way with Ellen ,, During all of this I managed to lose my ATM card that I had used to pay the remainder of my appointment money on top of everything else that had happened!! I went across the street to see if it was at a cell phone, when I came back I asked the owner if she found it, she did not. we were trying to figure out where I may have lost or dropped it, when Ellen walked past me on her way out of the store, she was apparently done giving her last reading. As she walked past me she glanced at me, and didn't say one word of apology or any kind of explanation she walked right out of the store. In my opinion this woman, shouldn't call herself an empath or spiritualist. I certainly hope the way she treated me, was an isolated incident and she doesn't treat anybody else this way there was no respect no empathy of ANY kind !! OR feelings either.. only arrogance, narcissism, unprofessionalism, and a sense of self worth that was in my opinion not warranted. Don't go to this woman for any reason that is my sincerest wish to you lest you be treated the same way she treated me. I went to this Post Office (but this complaint is basically for all of USPS) and asked the best way to send it. Priority Mail 2 day is what I was told - it will get there on Monday 12/31. I took insurance on it too - total cost $31 to mail. No package arrived on 12/31 - I stopped in after about 10 days and asked about this package. I was told "we do not guarantee any packages for arrival on time except Overnight Priority!!!! So why did I pay for a service that was not received (the clerk agreed and said same happened to one of her packages but there is nothing that can be done!) I want some sort of a refund. They are selling a service but they don't have to provide the service! How ludacris is that! I tried to email the Postmaster General but it came back as undeliverable. I complained on social media and so many people said the same thing - no packages as promised! The package, thankfully, did arrive but TWO WEEKS LATER - not two days! I want a partial refund!!!! I will be using FEDEX from now on for my packages as so many have told me they are reliable.

My last visit the counter staff helped me pick out the best way to mail a letter that I wanted to know it got to its destination. She didn't sell me the most expensive delivery just to make money- she helped me with the very best option. And I appreciate that. Be aware this is a very small post office so they do not have as much merchandise or a drop box for large packages. You will have to give those directly to the staff.

They gave everyone a bucket and shovel to use along with an identification card. We brought our own rock hammers and tools. The guide was terrific, explained the activity, a little history and brought us to a good spot where he showed us how to locate fossils. They are EVERYWHERE! Very easy to find. Harder to see with sun high. Easier to find after rain. I wish I had brought a water spray bottle and a magnifying glass to use in the shelter area. Great activity for anyone 3 and up. Every kid in the area should experience Penn Dixie Fossil Park!
