Arrived with my little (BBBS) for wings and fries. Normally I would not have picked BWW for an 8 year old but I let her choose. As usual the wings were delicious. I'd forgotten how much I enjoy the Asian Zing. The restaurant was very busy because of a Bulls game. Initially the hostess offered us a seat at the bar. Since i was with a young child I requested one of the open tables on the dining room. For as busy as they were the server and kitchen did a great job keeping the patrons content. My order wasn't entirely accurate but it was delicious anyway. Good job BWW. read more

Never had a good overall experience at any location nationwide from B Dubs. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because our server was actually friendly unlike the rest of the staff. The food was what you would expect for a chain restaurant, mediocre. The food prices are really high for what it is. $4.89 for a little basket of fries? Go ahead and keep those in the freezer. This location (and really, all the NM locations so far as I can tell) seems to be going downhill. On our last visit, the restaurant was about half full, but for some reason our server was stressed all the way out. Not sure if maybe the kitchen had a lot of pick up orders (it was NMSU-UNM football game day) but it certainly didn't look that busy. I ordered my wings with the sauce on the side (because they toss the boneless, breaded wings in the same bowls as the regular wings, leaving little bits of gluten all over whatever goes in there.) That didn't happen and sure enough, I got sick later that night. Their fryers aren't the cleanest anyway, but usually if they are just a little careful, I can get by. Clearly that is now asking too much. If you're gluten-sensitive, this is a tough one. read more

If I could give this place no stars, I absolutely would. First of all, the food is really not that great. Half the time when I go, the wings have so little sauce that I need to ask for more sauce, which they charge for. It takes forever to get your food and even when it comes, some of the boneless wings are so small that they could hardly even count as a bite. Today, I had an especially bad experience. I was given some superbly bad service by the store's manager Omar. When I asked to have the district manager's number, he reached in his pocket to give me a card and then told me he wouldn't be giving me anything. We argued about a supposed "policy" now taking effect sent from corporate. When asked to produce any evidence on the matter, he brought back a piece of paper, that he typed in Word, saying what he said was true. When I asked why an email didn't have any email addresses on it, he ripped it up in front of me. I will definitely be calling corporate and the district manager to report this awful human being. I even called the other locations in the area about this new policy and they told me none existed. I think this tops any bad service I've ever gotten. Absolutely disgusted. read more

I have been to this location a few times. The time before last the service was horrible and he waitress messed up two orders in our party. Her fix was to have one member of the group reach over and pick wings out of another guys basket since she switched the sauces. To fix the other order she went to the back to get another 6 wings. After a bit went by she returned with the wrong wings (again). At this point we just accepted the error and ate the wings we didn't order because we were on a lunch break and had to be back. A few days after my visit I checked my credit card statement and noticed that BBW had charged more than I had signed my credit card receipt for. I promptly called the store and the manager was helpful. He stated that it looked like the server swapped my ticket with another member of my party and it looked like it was an honest mistake with no malice. He offered to refund the difference or offer me a free medium basket for the trouble. I decided to take the basket and give them another chance. The return visit was much better, the service was improved (different server) but the food was still sub par. For some reason BBW seems to serve their wings like warm these days. They then cake on sauce (which most would not see as a bad thing) but the cold sauce and the like warm wings equates to cold wings and a bad experience. This issue is not isolated to this location but seems to be symptomatic of the chain. I have been a long time BBW customer but I feel that the food quality has dropped. Hooters has been consistent in their quality. While BBW has allowed their wings to become cold and can't seem to find the right amount of sauce to apply Hooters seems to be turning out a quality product. The fat content seems to have gone up at BBW as has the "crispness" which is symptomatic of wings that have been living under a heat lamp for a long time. I think I just convinced myself to leave BBW for Hooters. I'd like some quality in my wings and BBW seems to have forgot that winning recipe that made them famous. My husband and I went to the Buffalo Wild Wings in Albuquerque on Gibson. Service took almost 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. Our server was very friendly! The beer was poured horribly with about an inch and a half gap between the beer and the top of the glass. We noticed most beers being poured were also the same pour. We saw staff go to be bartender and point this out and they had to grab straws and stir the beer so the foam made it look better. Then 20 minutes after we ordered our wings they finally came out. My husband got 3 flavors; mango habanero, lemon pepper, and desert heat. They were all served in the same tray which we had never seen before, and because of this the three flavors were mixed in with all the wings. The dry rubs were non existent! My wings were lemon pepper and there was no dry rub on mine either. We were told "because the dry rub doesn't stick to the boneless wings", I have never had this issue at Hooters with their boneless wings. We asked to speak to a manager, expressed our concern and we didn't even get an apology let alone any empathy! This manager did not care about our concerns or our issues. At this point we told him we wanted to pay for our 2 beers and leave. I have worked for Marriott for many years now and they express the importance of empathy and apologizing to your guests. This manager clearly has no customer service training, he is simply there to collect his paycheck. The corporate office needs to send our a trainer and train this location. The other location here in Albuquerque is fine, we have not had issues there. This Gibson location is closer to us so it is more convenient. read more

It's BWW... not a gourmet, 5 star dinning. Their sauces a good and the location is near campus, airport hotels and my current job site. Friendly staff, and good overall service. My husband & I walked in and immediately were greeted by the host and sat down there was a few bar tables and our area was completely empty we waited about 5 min during a shift change while the hostess went up to different servers who were standing in the drink stations talking. Every server he would talk to would look at us or our table and NOT one server ever came over to greet us , to tell us " sorry we are in the middle of a shift change but I'll grab a server once we have a floor plan available " just a simple "hi we will be right with you " another 5 min goes by I ask the host is anyone in our section he then goes and ask more servers a very nice server named Brian comes over he just walked through the door and was trying to tie his apron and take our drink order I asked to speak to the manager I explained the situation she apologized and was very courteous and helpful and found our server Alee . I'm grateful for the service we got after waiting 15 min but being a prior server and also someone who now works in customer service I feel like the servers on shift prior to shift change were totally unprofessional and came off as very rude and lazy being as they were all standing around talking and refused to assist the host or us. read more

Out of all the locations here in ABQ, I've been here several times since they opened. Mayra is the server I have gotten every time and have always been taken care of like a valued customer. There's a friendly vibe to this location and I think a lot of people don't take time to rate the quality of their food as well as the QUALITY of their server and the effort put into ensuring their customers are taken care of by the managers there. A lot of blame goes to the amount of time it takes to get food, but all restaurants have timing issues in the kitchen. Especially a popular sports bar down the street from campus. These guys work hard and you can get excellent service that's 5 star worthy if you engage with your server instead of critiquing every human error that even we have when busy. I love this location. It will be a regular spot for me for big games. read more
