Green chili burgers were so dry, waitresses are nice but the food is very mid! There is parking near by, lots of cops patrolling so don't drink and drive.

So we frequent this place very often... Nicole is by far one of the best waitresses that we have encountered! She knows what we order for drinks and will walk up to the table with them. One of the friendly managers will come with our pretzel and welcomes us back every time! We tried something new this last time around and had the nachos with beef, jumbo wings, and onion rings... The jumbo wings were indeed sizable and delicious- we got the half order which came with 4- wish it was more but with the price and quality it was understandable. They were crisp but tender The onion rings.... Perfect crunch... absolutely perfectly made... The downside... the nachos were underwhelming... they were pretty dry and did not have very much cheese... I personally like a cheese sauce on my nachos which I expected since it comes with their pretzels... but it didn't.. it was only shredded cheese... and not much at that... we will def not be getting those again... but highly recommend them for a bomb pretzel, a great burger, a tasty Cobb salad, or some crunch as heck onion rings! And if you want to top it off with superb service, make sure Nicole is your waitress!

Good morning and welcome to another edition of Mañana Café ABQ. Today, we report on our first visit to the 12th Street Tavern. What a great place! We enjoyed a variety of different entrees, although many of us chose the weekly special, the Shrimp Po'Boy. It was great. Excellent, friendly service and lots of tchotchkes inside to entertain and enhance the ambiance. 12th Street Tavern is conveniently located at 12th St NW and Menaul Blvd NW, across from the new location of La Montanita Co-op and Mama's Minerals. Plenty of free parking and easy access to a relatively new restaurant you will enjoy. Just click on the following YouTube video link to see what we thought. https://youtu.be/APsSYdxPOcE?si=P1vlzjAMkFKWKrNf

I ordered a cocktail, side salad and half order of chicken wings. The cocktail had hardly any gin and tasted mostly like too sweet blackberry lemonade; a half order of wings is only four and I wouldn't call them jumbo as advertised; and the celery and carrots that came with the wings were barely fit for a rabbit. The celery was limp and brown on the ends and the carrots were dry with a white crust. The only reason I'm not giving this place a one star is because the server, Rinnan, was very nice.

I drive past 12th Street Tavern regularly and finally decided to try them. I was greeted and seated quickly and my server was friendly and helpful. I had a good burger with smoked cheddar and BBQ sauce plus a side of tasty sweet potato fries. The iced tea was fresh and flavorful. The space is pretty open but wasn't overly noisy even though they were busy.

I was going to go someplace else but said it is across the parking lot I'll try it. My mistake again!! They try, they do. But they never follow through. A simple lemonade took about 10 minutes. Wow. Now let's see about the food. Inside is nice. Seems people are here relaxing. They did put a soccer game on which is a plus. Food was good but after a few the server went down hill. Asked a couple of times if needed anything then spent her time talking to other workers and forgot Albuquerque turkey was the tasty. Chili was not hot but has a slight kick to it. Get the flavored lemonade it comes with a popsicle. This is the second time I have been here, tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but no service is slow if you are not a regular. Really had high hopes for this place

They have a decent menu with a variety of options for everyones taste buds. They have indoor and outdoor seating with tvs inside for all the sports watchers.

I stopped in for lunch and ordered fried pickles to go. Unfortunately, they arrived soggy in their container. Despite this, the soggy fried pickles were still good and flavorful, but they definitely needed more frying. The restaurant's entrance was welcoming, and the decor was tasteful, featuring the number 12 and creating a pleasant ambiance with its light fixtures.

I want to start up with saying I love the area and that they have a nice patio section. I went with some friends for dinner on Friday night, and we tried a variety of things, including the fried chicken sandwich, a burger, and wings. I personally got the buffalo fried chicken sandwich and overall it was good. The fries were a little soggy and not exactly my favorite but it wasn't a meal by any means. Service was friendly but slow and it felt like we had to do a lot of corrections. Oh well, everything ended well.

Green Chile burger was cooked to perfection as I asked for medium. Yum!

Food was fantastic! Adan is a wonderful server and very good with people. Adan ... Just make sure next time when you add $ on a special sauce and charge the guests, you make them aware of said idem. Idk what it was even. Thank you for the wonderful experience while we quickly passed through your city

Beautiful restaurant and patio... They have those cool garage doors which turn the space from indoor to outdoor. Sonia took good care of us and provided great service. We tried the nachos with chicken, which were delicious and my favorite. I had the Philly cheese steak with a salad. The salad was colorful and a decent size. The Philly was decent, could've used more meat and mushrooms. It was alright, it'd give it a 3.

Couldn't figure out where to go for dinner, we decided O'Niell because it had been so dang long!…read more I was so happy to see that it was very busy, that's a great thing!! Our server was quite busy, but he did an amazing job. The food was quite delicious and filling. We were a group of 4 and we shared 2 apps with our Harp Lagers! Hit the spot! My wife shared her shepherds pie and I got a big salad, this proved to be an excellent plan! St. Patrick's day is just around the corner if you're looking for an Irish tavern!

Sunday Lunch at O'Neil's - Ticket #27…read more Our Sunday lunch at O'Neil's started promisingly but unfortunately fell short on service follow-through. We were seated quickly at 12:05, and our server promptly took our order and brought water, noting that our food would be "out right away." That seemed reasonable, as both items we ordered -- the corned beef and the turkey jack sandwich -- are typically straightforward and quick to prepare. However, the timing unfolded quite differently. By 12:20, one of our glasses was empty, and no straw had been provided despite an earlier request. When the server checked in, I asked again for a water refill and the straw; both were finally delivered, along with another assurance that our food was "coming right out." At 12:30 -- twenty-five minutes after ordering -- the server again repeated that phrase, only this time adding that "some things take longer than others," even though tables seated after us were already eating. Our meals finally arrived at 12:45 -- nearly forty minutes after ordering. To the restaurant's credit, both dishes were excellent: the corned beef was tender and juicy, and the turkey jack sandwich tasted freshly made and served hot. But while the kitchen clearly delivered on quality, the front-of-house experience did not match that same care. The repeated "right away" comments, the lack of proactive attention, and the absence of even a brief apology for the delay made the experience feel inattentive.O'Neil's has great food potential, but stronger time management and more genuine communication from servers would make a world of difference.

First, I have gone to this place off and on for several years. I find it a nice change of pace from the rest of the world. Second, it is a little funky, even for Albuquerque. The owners seem to want to be "Austin like." In a funny sort of way, I think it gets there. It reminds me of the All-Good Cafe in Dallas. Maybe if there was some live music ala All Good, it would seal the deal. Food was good. It was served hot. Everyone got their orders around the same time. Two in the group are vegetarians. The menu had options for them to choose from. I had the Klasic Kosmic Burger with cheese and bacon and a side salad. The salad was big enough to share or have as an entrée. The burger was a little overcooked but good. Lots of bacon!! Next time I will split the order with my wife. My wife had the fish and chips. She could not eat the whole meal and brought some home. The spudnik fries were terrific - hot with a crunchy outside. Two in the group had the afghan rice. They thought the dish was good. Beer and wine is served. Parking is easy and plentiful. The place has patio - I look forward to summer afternoons on the porch. Overall: good choice. Lot of good feedback from the Loungers.

Four stars instead of 5 because they were out of quite a few things - like fried pickles and a few other things. I got a side of sweet potato fries and they were so tasty - air fried I believe. Also got chicken wings. I almost never eat wings but because they were out of what I wanted I got the wings. They too were likely air fried. Really very good. Prices are pretty fair. Never quite busy - kind of off the beaten path location. Good parking.

One is the darker bar area but we were seated in a room full of full length windows that opened. I had a flight of their beers and enjoyed them all. For lunch I had their red chile bbq pork sandwich while my wife had the enchiladas. The food is a mix of Southern soul food and New Mexican standards. My wife actually preferred her food here over the well regarded New Mexican restaurant we went the previous day. I really liked my sandwich with its kiss of heat.

Only the other one in the South Valley (where we never go) has them. The tv commercials didn't say that. I did let the servers know this bc I felt it was false advertising. We got a Flight of 4 different beers and "settled" on a fried fish w salad which was ok and their grilled catfish tacos which you had to eat w a fork bc they were too messy to pick up w your fingers.. They tasted ok but the salsa and a pink sauce (?) helped to give them more flavor. The atmosphere was ok and the Friday evening crowd was arriving. We ate inside and our server, Sophia, was very good. It didn't take long to get our dinners except my partner's salad took forever! The salads are included w the meals. My salad was different and good which was a Blackeye pea, corn, & more ingredients. My experience there was disappointing since I wanted ribs and not "soggy" fish tacos. I might go back for the beer only.
