Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. Baked brie was amazing I loved the granny Smith apples! My husband loved them too. We also got the hummus duo which has dates on it and I used a date in the brie that was fantastic! I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. It was ok and had I ordered a wine spritzer I would say yummo but I ordered sangria. Pork Belly flat bread was the winner of the night the tomato jam made that dish. Extremely disappointing experience at Sixty Six Acres. We walked in and were seated immediately on the patio. I had read so many positive reviews and was genuinely excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, we walked out without ever being served. While we sat there, multiple staff members walked past our table without acknowledging us. No greeting. No water. No "someone will be right with you." Nothing. Then another couple arrived after us and was seated in the same small patio area. They were promptly greeted, given water, and attended to by a waiter who seemed more than happy to serve them. Meanwhile, we were still sitting there trying to figure out whether anyone planned to acknowledge our table. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was looking around and realizing there were no other Black or Brown patrons in the establishment at the time. I cannot definitively say race played a role in how we were treated, but given the stark difference in service between our table and the couple seated after us, I would be dishonest if I said the thought didn't cross my mind. We eventually got up and left. Good food reviews mean very little if certain guests can sit at a table while staff repeatedly walk past them as though they aren't there. Whether this was discrimination, poor training, or simply terrible service, the experience was unacceptable and left us feeling completely unwelcome. We came prepared to spend our money and enjoy dinner. Instead, Sixty Six Acres made it very easy for us to take our business elsewhere. read more

We were excited to try this new American cocktail bar. Shout out to Yelp again for the find. Moseyed in on a Saturday night and didn't have to wait for a table. In a rare turn of events, both kids got the same thing, the Korean chicken bites with the sauce on the side, which was a great decision bc it did have a kick to it. The chicken itself was a bit dry. Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. We went to this restaurant for a belated Mother's Day dinner. A place we've wanted to try for some time. It was a very pleasant meal and a lovely evening to dine on the patio. (Except for the noise from an occasional loud vehicle that drove by!) We ordered two appetizers: Korean Chicken Bites and Parmesan Zucchini Ribbons. The chicken bites weren't our favorite. Just okay. But the zucchini ribbons with the lemon basil aioli were so good! I would go back just to order that starter again. One disappointment is that I really wanted to order the Shishito Peppers. No longer on the menu. My meal was the Pastrami Reuben with fries. I switched out the Swiss cheese for cheddar. I liked the meal, and it was enough to bring half of the sandwich home for lunch the next day. The other two ordered the Crispy Pork Belly & Tomato Jam flat bread. One liked it, the other was just okay with it. Two of us ordered sangria. It was white, which came as a surprise to us. It was less sweet than we prefer. Another in our group ordered a mocktail and quite liked it. Got a second one and I don't believe they charged for the refill. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of it. I took Friends with me from out of town to visit Sixty Six acres. Both myself and one of the other guests are gluten free and the knowledge of the staff was amazing. They made great recommendations for us, and were very attentive. The food was amazing! I've been dreaming about the New Mexico green chili shrimp and grits everyday since tasting it. Also looking forward to trying the calamari on the next visit! There is plenty of parking, and nice signage. The decor is casual, and there is nice light. We sat outside on the beautiful patio with our two small pups on the perfect Monday night 6/1/26. We had just driven from Las Vegas and were headed to our hotel nearby. We just happened to see the restaurant and patrons on the patio as we pulled into the area for our hotel. I quickly looked on yelp for reviews, menu, and photos to see if it was a good fit. The Sixty Six Acres patio has been a long time favorite for me, but it had been a while. I recently came for lunch and the salad and spritzer were perfect for a warm day. I got a nonalcoholic pomegranate and rosemary spritz, which was a really refreshing drink. I then also got the spicy Caesar salad salad with fried calamari on top, which was the recommended protein option for that salad. Everything was good solid flavors the ambiance was really nice, 7.5 for my first trip, second trip because i liked the ambience i brought my sister and cousin from out of town and We got 2 burgers, the salmon bowl, farro &spinach salad, Brussels sprouts, and calamari. The Margarita Flatbread was med. Taste was pretty good, but it was soggy and didn't hold up well at all. That said it was the best of the 3 things we did get. Unfortunately, that's not saying much..... The burger was okay also. Not bad by any means, but nothing special at all either....considering there's a burger place next door I thought the burger would be able to compete with the neighbor, but trust me if you want a burger, go next door! They don't put sauce on it at all, no nothing. Just straight up patty, cheese and bun. Only my 6 year old cousin eats like that.....I did add some mayo and ketchup, which helped, but still not a great burger.... The bun didn't add much for us either, even though it was baked in house with green chilli....A simple brioche would be better imo... The fries with the burger were actually the best single item of the experience. Their fries are really good! So good that I was going to eat every single one of them but instead my waiter just came and took my plate before I had finished the last 10 or so. No are you finished yet, or anything, just grabbed it, turned and left. I was so shocked I didn't even have time to say I'm not done with that. He left the crummy chicken bites we weren't eating though..... LOL Seriously don't touch my plate unless it's empty, or you ask first! After a long day on the road driving home to Las Vegas from San Antonio, the wife and I stopped in Albuquerque for the night. After a quick Yelp search, we found Sixty Six Acres, which was a very short walk from our hotel. We arrived around 6PM on a Thursday. The dining room was, for the most part, full. However, we were able to be seated immediately. We grabbed two seats at the bar. Sixty Six Acres describes itself as a local, independent restaurant. I totally agree with that description. A lot of businesses say that they're "local" and that they "support local", but Sixty-Six Acres impressed me by truly "walking the walk" based on the shelves offering a curated selection of local craft products used by Sixty Six Acres for sale and the menu which looked to use locally-sourced ingredients to the greatest extent possible. The cocktails were seemingly made exclusively with local (or in-state) distilled spirits and the beers on tap definitely were local or, at least, from New Mexico. If Bud, Coors, or Miller Lite was available, I certainly wasn't interested. I ordered the Manzano Margarita ($12) made with a New Mexico-made agave spirit, prickly pear liqueur, and lime. It was a tasty drink, but I probably should've also ordered a pour of the agave spirit neat so I could compare and contrast it with tequila or mezcal. We shared an order of Spicy Calamari & Peppers ($16). The calamari (which may have been the only thing that we had that obviously wasn't locally-sourced) was lightly coated with cornmeal as were the peppadews, and jalapenos, and drizzled with a lemon basil aioli. The calamari was tender and fried to perfection. It possessed a nice crispiness without being oily. I had the Harissa Portabella ($17) for my main, which was served over a bowl of quinoa with roasted tomatoes, squash, zucchini, and curried cauliflower. It was colorful, hearty, flavorful and made me happy. The wife has been trying to expand her exposure to more styles of beer so we decided to share a "Build Your Own" beer flight with that goal in mind. I don't recall which beers we selected, but we both enjoyed them to varying degrees based on our differing tastes. Taken as a whole, Sixty Six Acres really blew me away! Service was friendly and on point. The food was solid, both aesthetically pleasing and possessing bold flavors. Their cocktail game utilizing New Mexico distilled spirits was strong and the drinks tasty. The flight of local beers hit the mark. Perhaps most importantly in this day and age, Sixty Six Acres offered incredible value. The most amazing part of our very satisfying meal was that our food and drinks were easily 25-30 percent less than what we'd expect to pay for a comparable meal back home in Las Vegas. If I lived in Albuquerque instead of just passing through, Sixty Six Acres would be my regular neighborhood haunt. read more

We started with the Korean chicken bites as an appetizer. Basically fried chicken bites in a sweet but spicy sauce. They were really yummy, though the chicken was just a little dry. For entrees, I had the Ruben sandwich with fries. The meat was tasty and I liked the rye bread. The sauce was different than a typical thousand island dressing, with a strong horseradish taste.
