The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, with plenty of TVs around to catch whatever game is on. The food was good--not out of this world, but definitely solid. I had a half salad along with a 9" ham and pineapple pizza, and it was a TON of food! The salad was loaded with toppings, and I will say the crust on the pizza was really good. Service was just okay. My waiter checked in a couple of times and was friendly enough, but didn't really go above and beyond. Nothing bad by any means, just pretty standard service. Had no idea this place was nestled in-between that cluster of lodging that surrounds the Sunport (airport). My boyfriend actually came across it when doing a google search for pizza nearby our neighborhood. It is Pizza 9 pizza so you know what you are getting as far as pizza. They also have a variety of other restaurant style offerings which is nice if you are not in the mood for pizza. One thing that kept catching my eye on their screens was their "New Buffalo Shrimp" might have to come back to try them! We picked up a deep dish, which is the Double Dish on their menu, along with a Pizza Roll, which is a smaller version of their calzone. Both were just what we wanted. They tasted great and we plan to come back again when we are in the mood for pizza. My son had a calzone and it was delicious and huge. He's 19 and could only eat half. The crust was great. I had the beef & sausage combo sandwich with fries. It was good. Not unusual for a bar. The issues they need to improve are staffing and men's bathroom. They did not have enough staff. They didn't have a host or busser. Truly cannot make sense of the negative reviews here. Amazing culinary experience for what could have been run-of-the-mill bar food (but isn't). Had a deep dish pizza, half salad and soup - all of which were delicious and carefully well crafted! The server Jade was super welcoming and friendly, and the ambience was great with sports games playing. May go again tomorrow for lunch, despite wanting to try more authentic New Mexican cuisine! I haven't been to the Landing in person, but I have ordered online several times for delivery. The first time the pizza was incredible as pizza nine almost always is. Each order thereafter has been worse than the previous. It gives me a 30 minute window for delivery and unfortunately three times it's taken over an hour. The pizza has been subpar and today it was overcooked. The crust was kind of chewy & rubbery. I ordered thin crust. It was greasy in the edges were burnt. It just was terrible . And I always add two or three bucks tip in cash along with the tip I put online so this is costing me over 30 some dollars and if the pizza was good, I wouldn't mind. Sadly I'm gonna have to fall in love with somebody else's pizza because this isn't working. I should've taken a picture before we took a few slices on camera looks a lot better than it does in person. I am so disappointed because Pizza I'm 9 has been my favorite for at least 10-12 years. Near Sunport and close to many hotels we walked to The Landing. Have been here before and needed to get a second opinion from myself. Today was a good day. Cold local craft brew and a sweet cocktail started the meal. A cup of pozole, brussel sprouts and Chicago beef calzone was so much food. The brussel sprouts were big enough for a meal and delicious. Pozole was rich with chile flavor and a nice size serving. The calzone had a light soft crust and perfectly flavored stuffing with three dipping sauces. Ranch, marinara and a zesty vinaigrette. My choice for crust leans towards tough and chewy but there was nothing wrong with this incarnation. Our server was knowledgeable about each brew and menu item. He helped us choose a local beer. This is a great place to eat and watch a game. The Isotopes were on during our visit and they won! Nonetheless, Go Biggest Little City Aces! Dined on a Thursday evening and we were greeted and seated right away. We ordered a cup of soup and inquired if it was spicy and was told it was a little spicy. Well it was very spicy. Ordered a salad which was fresh and tasted good. I ordered a burger without cheese, but when it was delivered it had cheese on it. I was going to just scrape it off but it was melted into the bun. I flagged down our waiter and requested a replacement of just the top part of the bun. After what I thought was a very long time it was finally brought to the table. Came in here because I was staying across the street without a car and my husband saw a 10% off coupon in some tourist booklet. I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten-free. They don't have a marked menu so I asked what could be made gluten-free. I ended up with the $15.50 lettuce wrapped green chili burger with side salad, $6 "bowl" of chicken posole. The posole came out first and it was so small that I had to ask the waiter if it was a cup. He said it was a bowl but I'm pretty sure it's the cup size. Look at the photo for yourself. My husband ordered the $15 tortilla-wrapped burger (it looks sort of like a nice version of a Taco Bell crunch wrap or a chimichanga that's been pressed with a grill weight.) It looked good. It came with a side salad and my husband also ordered a $6.50 Sandia watermelon cider. I think our waiter forgot about my husband's cider so we had to flag him down to ask if he could get his drink instead of waiting for it to come out with the meal. The cider was on draft and very good. When the side salad came out, the waiter had to bring me a new side salad because mine came out with croutons despite needing it to be gluten-free. I asked that my husband get to keep the mistake salad so that they didn't just pick off the croutons and bring it back out. It was actually a pretty generous-sized. The green chili burger I got was pretty good. I do wish they had a gluten-free bun though. Overall, I think this restaurant is good but labeling on the menu would be nice and service could be a bit better - writing the order down would probably prevent mistakes. We are in town for the JOAD Nationals (Youth archery). We decided to try the Landing since it was close to our hotel. The food was outstanding! We had a thin crust cheese pizza, Green chili burger with onion rings, and the tortilla burger with Christmas sauce (pictured). We will be back every time we are in Albuquerque. I live near this place so I drive past it almost every day. I've been waiting for the right time to stop by and try their wings. Well friends let me tell you, that time never came. I left empty-handed tonight because despite the copious number of staff buzzing around to the point they outnumbered the guests, no one ever acknowledged me. I stopped counting the number of times I was brushed past and ignored by servers who appeared to be too busy doing side tasks. This was 8:30 on a Thursday night, not right before closing or something like that. A dad in white athletic socks and his weird son decided to sit uncomfortably close to where I was standing even though there was no shortage of empty tables, and they were attended to immediately. The guy standing at the front trying to look official did exactly that: just stand around trying to look important. Bartenders were all clustered together in the far corner of the restaurant, apparently just hanging out? This place clearly caters to all the budget hotels nearby and lacks any self-awareness.
