food that was on the fork given to us.

We walked through the door with a party of about 7 or 8 people. We knew that we may have not been seated right away or that we'd have to wait for them to put tables together, however, we were not helped for a solid ten minutes. This was during a Saturday night, so it's understandable to a certain extent, but there was truly no one assigned to the host stand. When someone finally came out to help us, we were not greeted and he just kinda stared at us for a minute. He told us that they only had a booth available, and that we'd have to squeeze in. We were fine with this because we assumed a chair could be added at the end (almost like a high chair situation). We sit down, grab a chair, and all of a sudden the waitress comes around the corner and immediately says "You guys can't have a chair there." No greeting or anything, again this is understandable especially if it's a fire code, but she was extremely rude about it. She truly ruined this entire experience at the restaurant for me and my friends. She then immediately ushered us to the bar side of the restaurant, which was NOT her section and was already packed with people. In the bar side of the restaurant, we were sat at a 6 top and then had to pull a chair up, which was apparently not against the fire code anymore. We then were helped by another waitress who was sweet, but obviously was sat too many times and was overwhelmed. We order our food and our waitress brought out drinks and silverware. We pass out the silverware, and most of them had chunks of food and water stains on the forks, so we couldn't use them? Also keep in mind that someone at the table has a severe allergy, and we didn't know what was in this food. This also brings up the question of the cleanliness of the back of house and how it is run. Our food finally comes out, and no one had the sauces they had ordered (some of them were NOT extra with the meal), and someone else at the table had to wait an extra 10 minutes for her food. By this time, we had to leave to make our next plan and told the bus boy to tell our waitress that we needed our checks soon, and we watched him tell her, and she literally just stared at him. We then had to wait another 20 minutes to get our checks and had to wave down our waitress to get her to speak to us. We will not be returning to this restaurant EVEN if its changed.

Our server Nathan made our experience incredible. He was very kind, attentive, and quick. We got our food in a timely manner and everything was delicious. The manager should be very content with Nate and the kitchen staff. Thank you Champaign BDubs.

Open last week. Tried online & calling to place an order this week, no answer. Permanently closed or what?

Ordered boneless wings & street tacos for my coworkers to be delivered. 1 hour delivery time was a little much but was doable. Food was delivered on time. Our order was almost correct. Ordered 6 orange chicken & 6 mild wings for myself. Got the mild wings but got lemon pepper instead of orange chicken wings. I should have got the street tacos instead, they looked good, even though the tortillas was stuck to the paper. But I settled with just eating my 6 mild wings & gave the lemon pepper ones away.

I have no issues with the service but be prepared for the happy hour and late night supposed specials. You think your Coors light is three bucks but it's not when it's after nine it's only the food. It seems like they try to trick you on that but it is not part of happy hour. Fooled me because usually when I go to places and they have a happy hour late night beer is included but not here

Horrible!!!!!!!! I placed an order via grub hub with specific instructions for my wings! I asked for well Some wings and for them to be coated well!! They claim the wings are well done, that's not the big issue. The bigger issue is they sent me naked wings, wings without seasoning! When I called and spoke to Christopher the manager, he said there was nothing they could do! Excuse me??? You all messed up my wings and there's nothing you can do? Christopher said it would be up to grub hub to fix the order, and I said but they didn't make them you all did. HORRIBLE!

Wish I could give zero stars. Firstly, we are normally huge fans of BWW. My late father loved the restaurant and we frequented both this store (N. Prospect) and Savoy often. We came in at 9:30pm, and were one of only a handful of tables. Our appetizer came out promptly, and was hot. We then waited over 20 minutes for our entrees. Finally, another employee ran our food to us, with the metal pans piping hot (meaning they were probably in the window for a while). The girl who dropped off our food forgot all of our sauces, and we proceeded to sit there (with our food getting colder) for nearly 10 minutes, until we could get the attention of the manager, Brent. We were also all out of drinks, so we had to ask him for both the neglected drinks and the forgotten sauces. When we finally began eating, we found that the fries were cold, and you could tell they were double fried (probably old ones they threw in the fryer to "heat up"). Additionally, the two orders of fried shrimp were severely undercooked. The breading around the shrimp was still gummy, and as I am writing this review both myself and my sister (the two who ordered the shrimp) are feeling extremely sick and nauseous from that undercooked food. As my mother ate her second half of her chicken wrap, she also found a long hair in it. Throughout our meal, our waitress, Kailee, not only failed to bring out our food, but she also failed to check on us. She did not bring us refills on drinks nor did she come promptly after our food was delivered to check on us and our order. She neglected us throughout our entire visit and was one of the worst waitresses we've ever had at BWW. When we found the hair in the chicken wrap, she did at least do the right thing and get the manager, Brent. He, however, also did not do the right thing. After we explained all of the issues with our food, he gave us the option for a discount on our bill or freshly cooked food. At this point, we had been at the restaurant for nearly an hour and 15 minutes, and were tired and ready to go home. We opted for the discount as we had been there a while and now didn't feel good from the bad food. He went to discount the food, but Kailee continued to neglect us and attend to her 2 other tables instead. We waited another 15 minutes for her to finally come check on us so that we could ask for the bill, and Brent had somehow disappeared. Finally, she brought it and we found that he had only given us a 15% discount. 15% on food that had a hair in it. 15% for nearly raw shrimp that caused us to be ill. 15% for some of the worst service we have ever received. The coward then sat at a table in the bar so that he didn't have to deal with us any more (picture attached). Overall, this was the worst, most disgusting and infuriating food retail experience I have ever experienced. We will NEVER be returning to the N. Prospect store, and we will seriously reconsider ever frequenting BWW again if this is the staff and management that it seems acceptable to take care of patrons. I would encourage you to avoid this store, especially if Kailee and Brent are working.

Hubers is a townie bar, to be sure, but the best kind of townie bar: the staff is friendly, not surly, patient with noobs and the drinks are generous and cheap. They pour massive shots in tumbler glasses and offer big steins of domestic drafts for less than what a pint runs in Downtown Champaign. They serve food, which is stellar in its value, if not its uniqueness. Simple pub grub done well is the order of the day. They have a surprising variety of surprisingly good thin-crust personal pizzas for less than $4 and all the expected fried things. Popcorn is free and they will make more just for you. If I was serious about throwing darts, this is where I would come, as it is apparent they take it seriously at Hubers: there is an entire room dedicated solely to this and about 4 dozen trophies. There is ample parking in the rear, as well as a tiny semi-enclosed smoking area that is only a little bit less depressing than the smoking tanks at the Atlanta Airport. The decor inside is nothing special, but upon close inspection you will find echoes of the historic grocery that inhabited the structure in years past. An old-fashioned candy counter is at the front of the store and still in use. Hubers is a good place to watch sports, as while they do not have the biggest or newest TVs, they sure have a lot of them and are not shy about letting you tune in whatever suits you. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is they do not have very many of the "fancy" microbrews or imports that just about every place in Chambana stocks these days, and any that they do carry are likely old. This is a liquor and domestic beer joint. Also, like any neighborhood/townie bar, there is an alkie or two that may pass through, and this is not the place to meet chicks, or at least not he kind of chicks that you want to brag about on the Internet.

Aspen Tap House is a great place for watching any games. Has tons of TVs around and there's a party atmosphere usually going on. The prices are okay for portions. A location away from the campus craziness but it still can get loud. It's close to a few hotels, so it's a great place for travelers. The menu has about what one should expect, with shit tons of beers and many of these are local as well. Got a few good ones. It's about $7 a pint. Best we had of these was the White Oak Brewery selection #CharmingAF. This was refreshing and smooth. It's about $12 for the cheapest burgers. We each got the Black Bean Burger, which comes with guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream but I left off the last one. Also gets a choice of a side, so okay value for it. I got it with a salad. A lot of other meaty options available. They have tacos and the Impossible meat is an option. For sure it pretty much seems like Applebee's or some generic polished sports bar and grill but it's okay to be honest. It's located on Neil Street to the south of the campus stuff. There's meaty things as well as options for vegans and vegetarians.
