They also got rid of the original menu that included the nacho burger which was amazing and they can't make it unless is on the menu. I don't even have pictures to describe how bad the food was. But it was terrible. I ordered it online and had it delivered to my hotel room. When it arrived the order was incorrect instead of putting the carrot sticks that I wanted they put celery instead. The french fries were OK more to a little bit soggy. But the most disappointing part was the fact that the chicken was still a bit undercooked and more fatty than there were parts of muscle. Let me start off by saying, yes, I'm vegan. Buffalo Wild Wings did not have one item on the menu (confirmed through research) that I could have, but that is NOT the main reason why I am giving them 2 stars. I went there with about 10 other friends and the waitress took FOREVER. One girl ordered a burger and fries and it took 47 minutes for it to come out and it wasn't even busy. Most of the other people at our table had there food in like 20-25 minutes. The drinks were TERRIBLE. We ordered some over-priced shots and they were extremely weak, so much so that a lightweight even said they tasted weak. The regular drinks were very mediocre. It really wasn't a busy night, but orders kept getting messed up and we had a total of three different waiters/waitresses randomly serving our table, occasionally even bringing us the wrong items. (not to mention at least three other drinks were completely forgotten about) The only reason I am not giving them 1 star is that some of the people there enjoyed the food. I did not enjoy that they auto-tipped us, but I understand that for large parties it's commonplace anywhere you go. It shouldn't be compared to TK's or Pippa's. It's a big chain and that has it's own good and bad points. Their wings are big and I love the sauces. There aren't way too many sauces so as to make you think what to order (TK's), and also not just a handful that you don't get any variety (Pippa's). I love the fries because they will season them with any dry rub you want. Desert Heat works best for me. I love their potato wedges as well. Great beer selection. Staff is quite attentive especially when it gets busy. Their are ample number of giant screens to catch anything you want. On a Thursday night where football, beer and wings are a simple combo Buffalo Wild Wings is the place to be. First entering the restaurant I was greeted and seated with my party of 4. Luckily for us we knew that the business will get packed on a Thursday night football game so we showed up an hour early. We got a table and was served our beverage of choice right away. Our food orders were a different story. Our waitress failed to get our orders and it must of taken about 30 minutes after we got our drinks. I understand that business may be busy but it was truly unfortunate but I understand that it's tough to be a waitress or waiter at a busy restaurant. Ordering the boneless wing special at 75 cents a wing which is basically a steal. My entire party and I ordered the boneless wings but one of my guest got grilled wings to be on the healthier side. When he got his order they were completely wrong with the wrong sauce. I might have guess they just grabbed the wrong order. He never complained but at it instead because he didn't want to make a big fuss. On the other note the wings were not the best. The frozen chicken was over cooked and had more breading than chicken. I got the sweet bbq, garlic parm and chipotle bbq. Each one had their own unique flavor but the sauce or spices used was lacking on all three. I barely had any sauce and spice where at that point it was basically a plain chicken tender. I wish they gave more sauce on their wings. I would obviously go back because of the offer they have for discounted wings while having a view of every television to watch football and playoff baseball. Overall my experience at Buffalo Wild Wings would be a 4/10. There are plenty of other places that have better wings and better discounts. read more

Let me tell you a tale of my night at the wildest of buffalo wings. I arrived late with my squad looking dope as hell. I was rocking a new beanie that was donated to my cause and had me feeling some sort of way. Entering felt like the opening credits of entourage. As we sat we met a quiet yet slightly befuddled server. The kids call him Erik with a K, and let me tell you a story about Young EriK. Erik had the style and grace of Princess Diana, with the mental acuity of a young Neil degrasse Tyson mixed with the waiter skills of Justin Long from waiting. Talk about It factor. This kid had it spades. I am the proprietor of a restaurant of great acclaim, it took all my will power. It to try to hire this firecracker away from the Buffalos with wings of wild style. This man. Young Erik with a K, is headed for big things. I would not be surprised if he doesn't end up a mayor, a ceo or a ditch digger. Hey The world needs ditch diggers too! But it's against my core values to steal staff from other establishments. Now don't get it twisted, he was rattled like a west Texas diamondback tail. But it was that spark, the spark with the energy of next big bang. Maybe they will name a cbs sitcom after him. But he was shaking he was rattling and he was refilling our beers. This is a chain restaurant, I get it. But god is it awful. First, the beer selection is god awful, and on the few occasions that I've been here, they're usually out of the few good things they have. The rest of the selection is just a reiteration of Bud Lite. The wing sauces here are good, here's one star for you BWW. The rest of the food is sub-par bar food. Finally, the service is terrible. The servers are rude, far too "buddy-buddy" and it never behooves them to be as sarcastic as they are. Back off me if I have heartburn and didn't finish my beer as fast as my friends. If you have ever been to a Buffalo Wild Wings, you pretty much know what to expect from every location. Aside from the mediocre wings they serve hidden behind the plethora of sauces/rubs they offer, Buffalo Wild Wings actually has some pretty decent appetizers and beer specials. I always try getting the Roasted Garlic Mushrooms whenever I go to one, just because they're one of the best starters they have to offer (very close margin with the Fried Pickles, but I still think these are better). The most recent time I went happened to be this past Sunday for football, which was great because you could view every game at any time within the building. I placed an order in for the mushrooms while my buddy ordered the Pulled Pork Slammers, which weren't bad, just wish they served four over three. They had a Sam Adams drink special going on that discounted all the drafts down by a couple bucks, which I though was pretty cool. We both ended up with Rebel IPAs. The wings are a different story. Every time I come here I never get the same quality of wings. Sometimes they're perfect, sometimes they're too dry, sometimes they're too small, and sometimes they aren't sauced/dry rubbed enough. Being an establishment where you focus primarily on wings, wouldn't you expect to be flawless in doing so? I can't tell you how many times I resort back to the salt and vinegar dry rub (which is awesome when done right by the way) because of how great it was the initial time I tried it. Perfect sized wings, just enough dry rub, and the right temperature. I have yet to have a wing like that again here. Other than the food, the server was very personable and even recommended a few flavors on the menu in case we didn't know about the limited time sauces. Probably the best part of the visit. All in all, Buffalo Wild Wings is hit or miss. You either get the wings you're craving or you don't. It's that simple. And it really shouldn't be a problem because they should invest more time in making the right wing every time. I know I'll be back here and there, but it's not my top choice for wings. read more

Hard to sell wings in a city that features the undisputed king of wings in the state of Connecticut, that being TK's. Surprised that BWW even had the gaul to plant a location in Danbury. That said, zero stars for the food here. It's factory-made uninspired junk, wings included. You can almost tell by the size and taste alone that the wings are frozen factory seconds. It's not a quality restaurant, ergo, not a quality product. TK's still reigns supreme for bar food, an easy winner. But lo and behold, an unexpected solid three stars for the BEER selection! Yes, I'm aware it's right in their motto, "Wings, beer, sports," but who knew they'd actually deliver admirably on the beer part? Indeed, BWW has a robust thirty taps, most of which are flowing with unique beers at any given time. You can have a short or tall glass; I ordered a personal favorite, Allagash White. They also feature even more microbrews in the bottle, cold and ready to go. Combined with the zillion TVs zapping your brain at every turn, I'd say BWW is a decent experience overall. Well, I know I can affirmatively state that I saw it coming a mile away. In all honesty, what did I expect? I'm a huge fan of sports bars and especially like the ones that have the ability to show everything going on at any given time. However, that said, there still has to be some thought put into placement of televisions and hour-to-hour monitoring of what is being shown. Basically a C-/D+ here on that attribute. When a place prides itself on beer selection...well, why does the beer selection have to be a selection from every major brewery in the world? I understand the chain may have contracts for taps that they have to adhere to, but, what may make your chain restaurant experience more meaningful, is some sort of REAL local connection. Local beer taps is one easy way to establish a more individualized local sense of place even in a mega-chain place like this. The extra star above was for having Lagunitas IPA on tap. Not local, but far superior to the rest of their 30 taps. Honestly, totally out of left field but I appreciated it. Food...well, shit, I challenge you to make a healthy choice here....I had to get the small sized, grilled chicken fingers to even attempt to get below 500 calories...not everything has to be over the top and have wings in it. I like Buffalo Wild Wings, even as I recognize its shortcomings: Unhealthy food, a beer selection skewing toward the downmarket, and a bro-tastic atmosphere. The Danbury B-dubs was one of the least favorite I've been two, for two reasons that I bet are outside of management's control. The first is that the set-up feels more like a family restaurant that got converted to a sports bar rather than a sports bar. The tables and booths don't all have good views of the tv and there is a sense of having a distinct dining room vs. bar area that I find odd. The second thing is that THERE ARE CALORIE COUNTS ON THE MENUS. Oh my God. As I said, I fully know that Buffalo Wild Wings is not serving me health food, but the proof on paper accelerated my heart attack almost as much as the wings did. I just could not believe how terrible everything on the menu is nutritionally. In some settings, I like having the calorie counts available to guide a healthier choice. But there was literally nothing on the B-dubs menu that I'd call healthy, so all this additional information did was serve a side of guilt with my wings. All this said, a B-dubs is a B-dubs, and a B-dubs is going to serve you a big ol' beer and some delicious wings, making them all A-OK by me. read more
