Cheese Fries

Your typical food serving bar. Wings are good and they have a great variety of flavors. Beer on tap. Nice place to relax and have a bite to eat or watch a game. Service is good and prices are very reasonable. There's parking across the street, though it is a busy road so be careful after a few beers

I was blown away with this place. Seat yourself upon entering, went straight to the back were it was quieter and intimate. Given it was the final four for basketball we had GREAT service. Super attentive throughout the night. Started with the nachos, got the personal nacho, had cheese on every chip, plenty of veggies. Was gone in 5 minutes. The wings are now apart of my top three go to places. Got fire and ice and Cajun ranch. Damn they were so good, crispy outside, plenty of sauce and the bleu cheese was thick and creamy. So good I ate all of them without stopping. This place is a must!

This is a great spot to watch a game, grab a beer & eat some wings. Their range of wing sauce options is amazing, flavor and spice levels for everyone. The wings are tasty and big, the curly fries are a perfect addition. The beer selection is pretty good. They have some German beers and a selection of craft beer. The inside is very much a pub feel. The bar area is a bit tight and can feel crowded. The service is always good. A fun spot with friends and some tables in the back for families.

Come on tks, you're better than this. I know it's Sunday night and you might be busy, but to order food for delivery a certain way and get almost none of it correct isn't a great look. Fingers weren't basted as asked, wings and strings came in the same container and the fries are grossly saturated in sauce and soggy and extra dressing was not given either... for almost $40 for these two items ordered I would expect more. Even if the extra dressing was an up charge, that would have been fine.

As many other reviewers have said- this place is known for its wings because.... The wings are REALLY GREAT! The place is also very casual and comfortable. It is the kind of place you can go to whenever and however you feel. A nice added touch is they have TVs right at many of the tables which you can change the channels to your preference. BIG PLUS for our family and one of the reasons our kids really like this spot! We typically get the wings and to be honest I try to also fill up on a side salad so I eat less wings.... Haha. Their dressings are really good! We have not tried any other fare except our kids who get the usual burgers and chicken tenders which they seem to enjoy. Great friendly service, nice casual restaurant, and delicious wings are the reason we continue to come back to TK's again and again. If you like wings and happen to be in the local Danbury area, I would highly recommend!

This is a one half of a Philly Steak Sandwich. Such a dissapoint, I cant believe they actually served this.(to go order).

The wings we got with this Togo order were great, but we will never consider ordering anything else!

Selected TK's for the 76 Flavors of wings. Intimate seating with plenty of angles to view the TV's. A modest but diverse selection of craft beer. We order the wings extra crispy! The Bushwacker was a 9/10 for heat. Resurrection and Angel Fire had the right Balance. Wasabi and Dragon were flavorful. Probably won't ever come again due to living far away. Go check it out! Try Mercedes' signature Moscow Mule plus Grapefruit. Goes down smooth.

TK's American Cafe is a neighborhood sports bar and restaurant that opened in Danbury, Connecticut in 1990. It was founded by Tom "TK" Kennedy. The building is actually Danbury's oldest continually operating tavern; a gravestone mural outside tells the story of all the previous businesses that called the spot home. Beginning in 1928, the site was home to CK Moore Autos: a car dealership. The first tavern to open on the site was Bennie Pane's Stone Grill in 1933; they obtained the first liquor license in the city. This was then followed by Pane's Restaurant (1937-48), Negri's Grill (1948-59), the 6 & 7 Restaurant (1959-78), The Bushwacker (1978-88), and A.W. Shucks (1988-90) before Kennedy took over. TK's nearly went on the gravestone mural themselves until they started having 10¢ Wing Night every Tuesday. Wing Night is still going strong after more than 30 years and TK's serves over 15,000 of their famous wings each week. I've been to TK's more times than I can count over the years because from 2003-07 I was a college student down the street at Western Connecticut State University. TK's is a very popular watering hole for WestConn students. I celebrated several birthdays here; if you go on your birthday then you get one free wing for every year that you've lived. I recently stopped by for dinner (for old times' sake). After looking over the menu (which consists of 76 wing flavors), I decided to order five Gold Rush (hot sauce & honey mustard), five Ugly (honey BBQ, suicide & bacon bits), five American Outlaw (honey BBQ, liquid smoke, bourbon & cayenne pepper), and five of the Four Horsemen (cocktail of three hot sauces, horseradish, xtra hot cayenne & sesame seeds). I thoroughly enjoyed all of them, but I have a soft spot for the Gold Rush wings. The Four Horsemen are probably the hottest wings I've ever had. At one time they were the hottest wings on the menu, but that honor now belongs to the Bushwacker wings (I didn't have the guts to try them). I washed everything down with pours of "TwoConn Easy Ale" by Two Roads Brewing and "Bengali" IPA by Sixpoint Brewery. TK's will always be a special place to me!

There was a bar tender and 3 waitresses. We ordered and sat waiting for our drinks? Then the appetizer was delivered at same time as lunch....really? After food was delivered we didn't see our waitress again, the bar tender left and someone else took over the bar. She was so busy chatting up the now 3 people at the bar she never glanced over at our table. We had an empty pint glass and empty bottle at end of table signaling for drink refills but that went unanswered. After waiting about 15 minutes I decided our waitress must be on break and forgot to let the bartender know? Another couple had been seated behind us and I heard them complaining some of the food wasn't hot and where was our waitress After 20 minutes unattended I stepped up to bar and asked for the check Poor service is inexcusable when a place isn't busy!!! Won't be coming back Shame as menu seemed to have good selections

The bar area seemed fun, with the string lights and their cocktails seem like the reason to return. On this occasion we all got mocktails, it was hot and the drive home was long. I typically don't do mocktails, but this one tasted like the real thing. It was only $6, many places charge around $10. For my meal, I got the fish tacos. These came with three corn tortillas, filled with grilled cod, avocado and slaw. On the side there was rice and beans. This was so filling, fresh and tasty! I also enjoyed the rice and beans. I could've had just two tacos, but I had all three. Our waitress was fast and efficient. Everyone else was happy with their meals. The restroom featured just one stall. It is a bit confusing to me, that a not so small establishment would have just one restroom. Aside from the restroom, the food was very tasty. I would return here again.

I've come to Icons a few times now and they always keep me coming back for more, not only for the great food but the vibes and atmosphere as well. We usually opt to be seating on their patio during fall or summer nights because outside seating is the best when you have a nice patio. We started out when a round of drinks. As a beer snob they always have a good selection of beers to select from especially from Other Half Brewing on tap. For food we opted to split an order of the Maple Chipotle wings and a Black and Blue burger. Let me tell you the Maple Chipotle sauce is so good you can almost drink this stuff, if they ever decided to bottle it I would be first in line to buy it! Wings are always a great size and properly cooked to perfection. The burger was cooked medium rare and was incredibly juicy, almost a little to the point where it makes the bun slightly soggy but believe me that is okay! Already looking forward to our next trip back over here!

You can order in person, or online and pickup like I did. Order was ready when promised. When you order takeout, they give you an insulated food bag to keep your order warm as long as possible. The food is great. There is a wide variety of corn dogs, wings, soup dumpling, etc. I got the wings, beef fried rice, and corn dogs. I messed up with my corn dog order. I ordered the mozzarella dog which I assumed had a hot dog in it. I was wrong. You have to order the half mozzarella and half hot dog for that. Lesson learned. The breading was tasty and had lots of flavor. The wings are very crispy and tender. Lots of flavor and looks good for presentation in the box. The beef fried rice was very good. Lots of beef in it, not just mostly rice. I will definitely order from here again.

We were in the mood for Korean/Japanese and didn't want to drive to the nearest Bonchon. Looking at their menu, they had pretty much what we were looking for, so we ordered pork dumplings, udon ramen tonkatsu, gochujang KFc wings and some popcorn chicken as well. By the way, this is the kind of place where you order first then sit down with a table number and they bring it to you. The food came out lightning fast and it was pretty good all around. Dumplings and popcorn chicken were decent but the KFC with gochujang sauce and ramen broth were great. Messy chicken eatin' but so good. The pork in the ramen was okay but the broth and noodles were very flavorful and there was plenty of it. Didn't really care for the bamboo shoots but they were easily pushed aside. Place looked clean and well-lit and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The mango boba tea I got was good too! So glad to have this place around the mall. Sorry, mall dining options, we are very likely to skip you and drive across the street in future shopping outings.
