We had a really disappointing experience. Service was extremely slow our food took nearly an hour to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold. After I politely asked them to take it back and said I didn't want it remade, our server basically disappeared. Our drinks sat empty, and when it came time to pay, that took forever too. What really added to the frustration was watching the table right behind us with the same waiter and seated just after us get their food quickly, fresh, and their drinks refilled without issue. This isn't our first bad experience here, but we had hoped things would be better this time. On our way out, my wife spoke briefly with a manager who apologized and said he wished he had known sooner, but unfortunately, the damage was already done. Had an absolute blast at this location. Beers were cold, wings were just the perfect amount of seasoning and sauce and that delightful crunch. The ambiance was excellent, both MLB and NCAA basketball rocking on multiple screens. But to really tie in the amazing experience was our server Luke. Every few years I go back to Buffalo Wild Wings and always get that reminder of why I stay away from it. It doesn't matter if I'm back home in Chicago or here in Grand Forks. They all are inconsistent and always manage to cause an unpleasant dining experience. Every. Single. Time. Never fails. Ordered the 20 piece special with large fries and the carrots/celery to go. Half was BBQ and half Buffalo sauce. Ordered them extra wet, shame that by the time I got home the extra sauce caused the container to essentially disintegrate and get all over. You would think that there would be some measure implemented to avoid this, such as aluminum foil or a different material container. Now on to the main issue, while the BBQ wings were alright, the Buffalo wing were unbearably salty and gross. The Buffalo sauce was saltier than I've ever tried anywhere (and I mean SALTY) including other BWW locations. We ate two of the 10 wings and had to throw them out. Fiancé and I and another friend took our young friend there to celebrate his 21st birthday. We were a couple weeks late due to a death in the family. We explained this and they were more than happy to honor him with a free cocktail! Hannah chose an adult Shirley Temple for him and he loved it! They kept drinks and appetizers coming, checking with us quite often. A different server was dropping off drinks and I ended up wearing one. Must admit I should have been calmer...white pants are cursed anyway! She felt so bad. Matthew the manager came and apologized saying she was new and then I felt bad! He was so kind , comping my meal and cocktails. I've been in similar situations with various outcomes. For a young manager he handled things in a way that would make anyone proud to employ him. He was kind to care for his server in such a way and impressed us with the brilliant way he handled things. So it goes without saying the staff is exceptional. We sampled nachos, cheese curds, onion rings, fries and wings. All were quite tasty! Brisket was good, wings, burgers and sides. An overall really enjoyable evening. Thanks to all! Went to Buffalo Wild Wings, before my ride home on college move out day. Ordered the traditional wings in a small size, with the parmesan garlic sauce. Found out that apparently during lunch time a side is included in the price of the wings, which is a pretty good deal. I got the fries, which were decent, they have a pretty good seasoning on them that I enjoyed but weren't very hot when they were brought out more like luke warm. The wing sauce choices are pretty good and their Blazin sauce is pretty hot, which is how I like my wings. This evening, we sat at the bar; service was excellent along with our adult beverages. We ordered three different wing preparations...Blazin, curry and thai...they were all pretty good with Blazin receiving highest accolades for making my nose run. While the food is great, I have experienced very poor service at this location. Being in a college town, my friends and I take advantage of the Half Off student discount on Sunday evenings. However, be warned: Do NOT sit in the bar as service will be very slow. I would approximate on average we wait about 45 minutes for our food. Not to mention the order was wrong. Getting the check can be even slower, as I once had to wave down the manager and ask for our bill because the waitress was too busy talking to her friends. They even had to come back twice asking who got waters in our group of five. Handing the bills out were even more awkward. My order was ready on time and the food was still hot by the time I made the t back to the hotel. My dissatisfaction came when I started to eat and noticed the lack of sauce.
